Lovely place for imaging. Tucked away in Brier Creek, I especially prefer a place like this over a hospital or clinic any day. This office is so warm, inviting, clean and prompt. There is plenty of parking and you can be in an out in 30 minutes. Elizabeth was absolutely a pleasure to work with. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She made my experience wonderful! Do not go here! While the person doing the mammogram was wonderful. The rest of the office is a complete mess. There is no way to speak to anybody ever they just put you round and round in circles in their phone tree and they never respond to e mail inquiries. They just want you to spend more and more money when they see something on an image. They have done this to me three times now and it always turns out to be absolutely nothing- but yet insurance won't cover it and I'm out thousands of dollars to their benefit. This used to be a great place. It went downhill.. save yourself the frustration and avoid this place!! read more

Billing department 100% inept. Kept receiving balance due invoices even though paid in full at time of procedure. Called twice 3 months apart and was told to disregard bill it was a gliche in their system. Now has been turned over to collection. Their billing system has no record of payment the day of the procedure or my calls. (But I do) It's a shame in the medical world that the client pays the price for mis-coding and billing errors. read more

The front desk staff at the 1212 Cedarhurst location are a delight, but the x-ray tech I had was pretty cold and humorless. The worst part of Cardinal Imaging is trying to reach someone to get answers. I left messages that were unreturned and when I finally reached someone (Ashley), I felt treated as if I was inconveniencing her - she was not pleasant. Cardinal's advertising promises expert, compassionate service - my experience resulted in anything but. Since there are other radiology services (e.g., Wake Med, UNC), I will probably go elsewhere. read more

Was recommended to go here by my surgeon as she wanted to do a follow up MRI on my knee after surgery last year. Staff was great, but there were a few small issues. First was their system being down when I checked in so there was some additional waiting since no one was notified I had arrived and checked in. Second was the MRI facility itself which was fine but looked to be a mobile unit. Lastly, they said the results would be sent within 48 hours but my surgeons office called a week later confirming I'd gotten it done since they hadn't received anything. MRI results served the purpose though! read more

Try to get someone to actually answer the damn phone. Its outrageous to have to endure a continuous loop of recorded advertising touting how great this place is, always finishing with "Someone will be with you shortly". No one picks up shortly. It is galling to expect patients to endure such shit. Like we have nothing better to do than to sit and wait. There is no function to allow a request for a call back either. I have called multiple times to try to determine what happened to my images and have yet to get through to ANYONE. This place sucks. I would never use them again. If for no other reason but to avoid the telephony. read more

First, I was scheduled for an appointment in Wake Forest at 8:30am. I get there and the damn X-ray tech is not there so they reschedule me for the Raleigh Location (1212 Cedarhurst Drive). I've been waiting for almost 2 hours for a simple X-ray. The tech walks out and tell me I need to wait until all of their previously scheduled people have gone. Why not tell me that when I walk in? Why schedule me at all if the TIME doesn't mean shit. Epic fails, in communication scheduling and customer service all around. I'll never come back and make sure no one I know ever does either. never again - medical negligence / malpractice. the radiologist read my ct incorrectly and had my doc sending me to the er (bill) via ambulance (bill) and not to mention the cost of the ct with reading (bill). i also have an inpatient bill and thank god they decided to keep me for evaluation instead of the helicopter ride being discussed for a higher level of care. the life threatening diagnosis was wrong per the vascular surgeon and to be sued in nc requires major body damage. hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else going here. read more

Had bad experience as name changed re billing. Learned a group of MD's owned - set up an address near Nashville,TN as Corp office. I felt they were attempting to price gouge at first. But they were forced into more rational thinking - due to complaints with Feds, I understand. The staff at my location near Brier Creek have been nice enough - even though I wasn't sure about my "dense breasts" being a cause for concern. Some women get implants or uplifts, or reduction surgery for my natural state. Don't have family history of breast cancer - just lots of women with Biopsies... Maybe or maybe not needed due to our genes or whatever... better to be safe than sorry! Except for the billing issues - blamed on owners/investors/doctors - rating would have been higher - trust would have been also... Reputation/trust is the most valuable thing any of us own... hardest to mend when broken... read more

What an excellent experience I had at this location. I went for a chest X-ray as a walk in first thing when they opened and I was greeted warmly and professionally by Nicole at the front. I explained what I needed and she quickly took care of getting me entered in to the system and checked in. She was a very pleasant person to talk to and made me feel like a valued customer even though this was my first visit. After a short wait, the X-ray technician, Ginger, came and got me and took me back. She was also a very friendly and pleasant person to talk to and was very caring in her manner. She helped me remove and put on my necklace which contains a bit of my sister's remains , so it's very important to me and she was very careful and compassionate with it. I was in and out in 30 minutes and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Nicole and Ginger for making this a quick and great experience read more

I had an excellent experience with this outfit in 2023 so I specifically asked my doctor to send orders to them for some tests I needed in early Sept 2024. My most recent experience is the basis for this 2-star rating. Firstly, they took 5 business days (across one weekend) to deliver the report to my doctor when it was promised "within 72 hours." Then I discovered that they did not report my prepayment to my insurance company resulting in my deductible being charged twice. I had to endure multiple phone calls with a thickly-accented woman who answers Cardinal's phone before she finally provided me the phone number for their out-of-state billing dept. (where, thankfully, Teresa R. was very kind and helpful in facilitating a refund; she is the only reason this is not a 1-star review.) While no one looks forward to medical tests lol, I certainly am happy that I have many options other than Cardinal next time I need imaging done. read more

It's great to walk into a place and see that the staff enjoys working there and enjoys working with each other, fun banter, enjoying the music and very friendly. Walked in - no appointment - for X-rays. Filled out my paperwork, sat for about 10 minutes and was called back to change and have the pictures taken. After several series of pictures I left with a CD of what my back/spine/neck look like - alignment and otherwise to take back to the chiropractor, and of course, to look at as well. read more

Two hour wait for a 10 minute MRI, and a waiting room full of patients in the middle of a Corona Virus pandemia has to be the height of inconsiderate and irresponsible behavior This can only be attributed to excessive greed. While I was there a gentleman walked in claiming he had an appointment for an MRI at the exact same time as mine. Meaning double (and probably more) booking of appointments and hence the long wait and full waiting room. This is the last time I use this outfit for any of my radiology needs. read more

I have come to Cardinal Points Imaging at Brier Creek (formerly Raleigh Radiology) for mammograms for many years. Raleigh Radiology was bought by Cardinal Points Imaging several years ago. I have no complaints with their medical service. I have had a terrible time, however, with their billing department ever since the new billing group took over 9/1/2022. I had a mammogram performed 9/2/2022. I am on a United Healthcare AARP PPO Plan. I have been trying to receive a credit for being charged a large copay, when in fact this facility is in-network and the procedure was to be covered 100%. This issue has been going on for months. I have spoken with the billing department multiple times and spoken to two billing supervisors. I was told by the last supervisor that if they billed me and shouldn't have that I would receive a credit. Never heard a word from them. Because of their failure to process this claim properly and provide me with a credit, I had to file an appeal with UHC AARP. From reading reviews posted here, I can see that I am not the only person who has been treated improperly by their billing group. MW read more

This places needs a manager! I had to come to the facility 3 times before they could locate my order for x-rays. I had to call my doctors office twice to get them involved to finally get them to acknowledge the orders. They orders were sent electronically and they had them each time I attended but staff were unable to locate or see the order. Poor system. Seems like some gate keeper had to release them to the local office and that person is not timely or reliable. read more

So back in June I broke my neck back and wrist after being out of work for over 3 months and receiving many bills which I scheduled to make monthly payments on I paid $ 1,490 of that money after not receiving a statement for the balance of of $206 I received a notification from an collection agency it really bothers me how greedy these places are and how unwilling they are to send the final two statements as agreed upon as a former person of the military and a person who always takes care of his bills I will never use Raleigh radiology very unfriendly and unprofessional they are. read more

I do not have a problem with the service. My problem is with their billing. I was billed 3 times over 3 months for the same date of service. Each time I was billed, I paid the bill not realizing I was paying for the same DOS. When I was organizing my tax info in February, I realized I had overpaid nearly $250. This practice appears to not issue refunds unless you ask for them. After multiple calls to their billing department (in Chicago), I still have not received my money. I think 6 months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a refund. Raleigh Radiology is not getting another penny of my money. I am going to Wake Radiology in the future. read more
