After arriving I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time to be taken back. I was brought to a mobile unit outside of the building. The MRI that I was getting required contrast. I had an uneasy feeling from the start with the tech, Scott. He blew my vein in my left arm. He said I had a weak vein. I have never been told I had weak veins and have had blood drawn and donated blood many times. He then proceeded to put the IV in the right arm. He could not fit between the table and cabinet, so he was doing it from behind me. I start to feel intense pain and ask what he was doing, and he told me he blew the vein in the right arm as well. The lady who brought me back came into the room when she heard me. Scott had a look of "I really messed up" on his face. He didn't even tell me what was happening next. She took over and said I would have to get rescheduled and took me back into the building to change. I said how could he have blown veins in both arms, I just didn't get it. She said they have had this happen with him before. I asked why Scott gets to keep his job. She said they have asked themselves that same question. I could tell that came out before she could stop it. I was very frustrated and now in pain in my right arm, mainly. I have to wait at least another 3 weeks to get an appointment with them. I left and called my doctor to get scheduled with Wake Radiology instead.

    I liked the providers at the practice, but moved and established care elsewhere…read more From an admin standpoint, it seems they are going out of their way to make the patient experience difficult. The patient portal was changed a few years ago to something much less usable than the prior portal and now, medical records must be requested from an outside company that takes at least a week to provide records (if they are even provided then, friends have had difficulty with the company insisting records were sent when they were not, and the company has abysmal reviews online) that has no ability to track status of a request, and that doesn't have a phone number on its website (wake told me their was a number there, they couldn't find it either, then gave directions to go through a series of clicks on their own website to get the number, and then finally gave me the number). Had the portal not changed, I would have been able to easily download what I needed. Instead Wake made the decision to go to this new system and I cannot even walk into the office and get records - if I walk in and make a request, I'll have to fill out a form that goes to a third party company to get the records. I was looking at establishing care in Raleigh again but I won't be returning. The providers were good but apparently admin does not care how difficult they make the process of managing the non clinical side of being a patient.

Throughout the office visit, they are thoughtful and keep me informed of everything they are doing during the visit (e.g. steps in The Perfect Peel, areas where filler will be used, warning when I am about to be zapped by the laser, etc.) and are constantly checking on me to ensure that I am as comfortable as possible. After years of tanning beds, no facial sunscreen, harsh skincare, and only having Botox done quarterly instead of treating the entire surface with skincare and maintenance services, I have had a lot to catch up on over the last six months, but I can say that I am on a simple day and nighttime skincare routine and that, plus a BBL treatment, two chemical peels, and some hydrafacial action has DRASTICALLY improved my skin texture, pore size, hyperpigmentation, elasticity, hormonal and fungal cystic acne eruptions, etc. etc. etc. My results are always WAY BETTER THAN MY EXPECTATIONS! ALSO, the ladies at PrimeMD are ALWAYS working! Rather than selling services via social media, these platforms are used for educational purposes and responding to patients and potential patients that may have questions outside of regular business hours. I guarantee that every medical provider is an expert in any and all technologies, products, and services that they offer. From my personal experiences with aesthetics over the years, that is basically unheard of. I had been dealing with this rash on my chest for MONTHS and had been on topical and oral antibiotics, had had multiple blood panels done, and was even taking a large dose of allergy meds twice a day for WEEKS. Angie looked at my chest and recommended that I use a couple of drugstore products that help with fungal folliculitis and within DAYS, the rash was resolved! Another bonus: the facility is STATE OF THE ART but not "cold". It is warm and cheery, just like the staff! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He doesn't have an Office Manager because he doesn't want the oversight. No decent Office Manager would carry out his requests. I too have been harassed for a late cancellation charge for almost a year. I cancelled on a Wednesday for a Monday appointment. I get charged $12.50 a month on top of the $50 late fee. I thought the bill was a mistake! I never filled out any paperwork or created an account. I was never a patient and had no knowledge of his policies. I sent a check for $50 and asked that my account be paid in full. I never got a response. Ever. Just more bills. Know that a collection company will not come after you for a $50 bill, even if the late charges add up to hundreds. Please file a complaint. This practice needs to be investigated. It's not right.

I appreciate the convenience of being able to obtain a mammogram at his office, followed by the opportunity to discuss the initial results with Dr. Canale. I do not understand the comments about "greed." I have always found him to be highly knowledgeable and professional. He takes as much time as necessary to answer my questions and is one of the few doctors with whom I never feel rushed during my appointments. I feel very comfortable and well cared for by him and his staff.

    What a mess Wake Radiology has become! I have had three unsucessful appointments in the last 3…read moremonths. The first two were at the Cary location. First one was a power outage that had happened early in the morning. My appointment was at 3pm. They did't expect to get power back until the next day. When I arrived after almost an hour ride I was greated with " Nobody called to tell you?" No nobody called to tell me or I wouldn't have driven almost an hour to get here and paid for a sitter. The second was at the same location where the radiologist insisted on contrast which I am highly allergic to even though my Dr. had ordered it without contrast. The radiologist refused to do it without contrast. Corporate did call me later that afternoon and apologized. Another two hours of my time wasted including wasted gas and sitter money. The third time was at the new location at 120 Banks Dr. in Chapel Hill. Another hour drive to get there and I arrive and the woman at the desk says " Didn't they call and cancel your appointment?? We don't do that type of imaging here". Altogether I wasted six hours of my time, at least $40 in gas and almost $100 for the sitter.

And in the car broke down crying. She'd told the techs about her surgery and how they were to roll her gently on the table. Instead the "picked her up - dumped her on the table - and left her there for 30 minutes". Which might easily have damaged her surgical site. We are looking into additional legal measures at this point. You are forewarned.
