I returned for a repeat/second-look ultrasound with Dr. Agarwal, with the understanding that the area would be reassessed and we would then discuss the findings and whether biopsy, aspiration, or monitoring was the appropriate next step. After the ultrasound, Dr. Agarwal entered the room and essentially announced that she was there to perform the biopsy. There was no initial discussion of what the new ultrasound showed, whether anything had changed, or what my options were. It wasn't until I stopped her and began asking questions that we actually had a discussion about the imaging and recommendation. My concern was the way the recommendation was presented and Dr. Agarwal's overall bedside manner, which I found quite curt and unsettling. I hope Wake Radiology takes this feedback constructively. A few minutes of compassionate communication and discussion can make an enormous difference in a patient's experience.

I was able to schedule a time that was good for me (unheard of in today's medical field) and given the option to get there early for prep or swing by the day before to pick it up. Anyone that can save me some time is winning in my book. I was also contacted one day prior to the procedure by the accounting person to make sure that I was clear on what my insurance was paying and what I would be responsible for. What a great concept! Upfront price (which I thought was incredibly reasonable btw) and the option of a payment plan. These guys should open a car dealership or real estate office. Fast forward to the actual appointment, the office staff were one of the most happy bunch I have run into. The office is conveniently located in a brand spanking new building off Cary Pkwy. I was taken back on time and finished when promised. Maybe I am just used to receiving poor service when it comes to anything medical, but I can't log a single complaint about Raleigh Rad. If you have a choice when being referred for radiology, I highly recommend these guys.

Let's face it, no woman wants to get her boobs squished, but it's necessary and we all have to go through it, so might as well go where they couldn't be nicer, helpful and professional. Receptionist was flat-out fabulous. Warm, friendly, made me feel personally welcome. Identified herself, and guided me through the necessary paperwork quickly and efficiently. Honestly I don't believe I've ever had such a warm receptionist at a medical office! Wait time to go on to the next step was mere minutes. Was shown to a dressing cubicle and given easy-to-follow instructions. Wait time for the actual mammogram was again very short. The procedure itself was the usual, turn this way, lift your arm this way, squish squish, hold your breath and repeat with a different angle. My Professional Gal was just that, guiding me through it as quickly and painlessly as possible. Within a week I had my results. Could not have had a better experience.

Very busy office. 2nd time here for X-rays. This office…read morepreviously got me in and out quickly (around 30 minutes total) so it's convenient enough to schedule appointments during the middle of my workday. Today the turnaround time was different. Very slow process. People who came after me were called ahead of me. (perhaps a different type of X-ray?) The total wait time of around 27 minutes to get called back. The time it took to change and complete the X-rays was less than 13 minutes, so it was very quick once in the back. Wait time on this visit was not the best. I would like this office to normalize e-forms instead of paper and pens. I would also like to see the same tech without having to ask. Besides that, the technicians are always nice and accommodating. My technician Laura did a great job making sure I was comfortable during my X-rays. I appreciated this!

The office is in a rather nondescript building in South Durham. I was a little bit surprised that the MRI machine is actually outside the main building in a trailer; they even lifted me up like I was on a loading dock. The staff were polite and the procedure went well, although I never got notification of my results (had to call my doctor's office and bug them).

First one was a power outage that had happened early in the morning. My appointment was at 3pm. They did't expect to get power back until the next day. When I arrived after almost an hour ride I was greated with " Nobody called to tell you?" No nobody called to tell me or I wouldn't have driven almost an hour to get here and paid for a sitter. The second was at the same location where the radiologist insisted on contrast which I am highly allergic to even though my Dr. had ordered it without contrast. The radiologist refused to do it without contrast. Corporate did call me later that afternoon and apologized. Another two hours of my time wasted including wasted gas and sitter money. The third time was at the new location at 120 Banks Dr. in Chapel Hill. Another hour drive to get there and I arrive and the woman at the desk says " Didn't they call and cancel your appointment?? We don't do that type of imaging here". Altogether I wasted six hours of my time, at least $40 in gas and almost $100 for the sitter.

And in the car broke down crying. She'd told the techs about her surgery and how they were to roll her gently on the table. Instead the "picked her up - dumped her on the table - and left her there for 30 minutes". Which might easily have damaged her surgical site. She explained everything to me ahead of time & was very gentle and genuinely caring. I could have easily stressed myself out over the situation, but she was there to guide and calm me along the way. When you're going through the most stressful things in life, you need people like them to calm you & make that situation seem like it's super small. I did not cancel the appointment or receive a cancellation notice so I could have corrected the situation. It appears a scheduler cancelled the appointment back in November. I wish they'd go back to scheduling in the office again and not using the central appointment scheduling. But they need to do something so random employees cannot cancel patient appointments. She did not relay to me or write down when I asked her to write down how to take the new medication for seizures and for migraines after that, I had a couple of Tele video visit while I was telling her what the problem was. She sounded like she was upset with me and did not talk to me in a correct voice. she had no bedside manners while talking with her and stating the problems that I was having with my migraines, she had the nerve to tell me well you're not supposed to be taking all of this as we talked and discussed about earlier. I mention that she did not write down the information. After that situation one thing that does get me is that when she changed my new seizure medication I had indicated and stated to her that I have to drive. I have to go to work and I have to take care of my father and I had told her that the medicine that was new was not working for me. She told me and said well you're not taking it properly. I told her still it is not working for me. I listen to what she said, and I took it when I asked her. How can I drive to go to work? She ended up telling me well you need to find somebody else to take you to work. I had stated to her I do not have anyone to take me to work. I have to go to work and I have to take care of my dad and my husband and my partner. She did not tell me how to take care of this situation so I went back to my regular medicine which she was not listening to. What I wanted to tell her was well are you going to take me to work and what should I do about work. When you have a job and your seizure, medication works first of all you do not need to let your Job know this that is up to your own discretion my seizure medicine even though it cost me having cyst, acne and rosacea on my face my seizure medicine still worked! My opinion is not to see her! I do want to state that Doctor William Farrell who is my seizure and my migraine doctor is the best doctor and I would also like to stay once again Olivia from triage the nurse she will listen to you and she is very very kind and very respectful and she has bedside manners and she can type very very fast. She was very amazing and very helpful and she cares about the patient. I do recommend everybody to ask for Olivia from triage if you have any questions, she will help you and guide you. She cares about her patience once again she is an amazing person! I also hope she gets a raise too!

Today was my 2nd appointment for pain management injections and it was very needed. The weather had…read moreme hurting in so many areas primarily my right scapula and rib cage. Dr Paul did ultrasound guided injections that I instantly heard a loud pop in my neck and rib cage as he injected the medication. WOW I'm so thankful and pleased my primary care practitioners referred me to Raleigh Neurology! It's early days and I have 6 other injections but if my results from my 2 injections procedures go as well I plan to be back in college ASAP upon completing all injections. Dr Paul being a fellow USN veteran has excellent bedside manner, he listens and answers you. He's open to what you have tried and what hasn't worked. Unlike other practitioners he is the only one doing my procedures the continuity of care is not just reassuring its often paramount that Dr knows patient as more than just a medical record since he fully examined he unlike others I had full confidence in his care. My judgment to change drs has been best way to start 2026!

Even with active wounds they require you to wait 6 weeks while you do compression therapy. They do an painful ultrasound and discharge you with a piece of paper that looks like a prescription for some type of kooky Velcro leg compression wraps that they don't sell, and no one in the office knows even knows where to get them. When I called the local medical supply places (Family medical and Blue ridge medical) they don't carry them either. When I called back to their office to ask where to obtain the wraps the reply was "I don't know, try googling it?" Wow. Good luck with their primary demographic navigating the internet and being compliant. Thankfully I searched Velcro calf wrap on Amazon and got a pair for $20 vs the crazy $99 PER LEG mess that they were hawking. For $20 she can take them on and off herself, unlike awful compression hose! If she'd known about these years ago we wouldn't have needed to waste our time even going here. Thanks to Amazon and these wraps I doubt we will be back.
