They folded the cloth in and sewed it together. I thought they would be taking cloth out, but I have never had alterations done, so this was an assumption on my end. I brought in a large order including three handbags and a pair of suede Birkenstock slides. Among them was my Louis Vuitton purse with vachetta leather. I was initially told that my items would take extra time because they were being "outsourced to a leather professional." I patiently waited two weeks to pick up my items, trusting they were in the hands of someone knowledgeable. Big mistake. When I got my items back, I was absolutely horrified. My Louis Vuitton was completely ruined--its vachetta leather was darkened, burnt-looking, and destroyed. My Birkenstocks were also discolored beyond repair. When I reached out to discuss the damage, I was met with a dismissive, cold, and unapologetic response from the owner. She took zero responsibility and instead blamed the "age" of my items--as if high-quality materials suddenly burn and discolor on their own! What's even worse is that their response completely contradicts what I was originally told. If my items were truly sent to a professional, why does the owner's response sound like Best Cleaners handled them directly? Were they lying from the start? To add to the horrible customer service, the owner never called me back despite my multiple attempts to get answers. I had to continuously reach out to her, only to be met with a rude, unprofessional attitude. And if you think this was a one-time bad experience, look at their other 1-star reviews. This isn't the first time they've ruined someone's items. Pay close attention to how the owner responds to bad reviews. They act sweet and professional at first, but the moment there's an issue, their attitude flips. Instead of taking accountability, they become hostile and defensive. DO NOT trust Best Cleaners with your high-quality items. They lack the knowledge to properly clean luxury goods and will refuse to take responsibility for any damage they cause.
