Great service. I came in the day before prom to have an old dress cleaned after the dog had shredded her new prom dress. He was able to have it ready at noon and called me the morning off to let me know he was fixing the hem that was torn. He did an amazing job and showed he really cared. read more

I called Plaza Cleaners this morning in a panic thinking I ruined my daughter's hoco dress. I was turned down by CD cleaners yesterday so I took upon myself and tried to clean it per googles instructions. When I woke up this morning and saw the mess I made of the dress I was literally in tears. I'm so thankful for this place! My daughter's dress is literally perfect, better than when we bought it. I was told it would probably not be done until Thursday, if they were able to get the stain out, but they were able to get it done in 5 hours. They called me immediately and told me the dress is perfect and they were so happy they could help me and I could come anytime to pick it up. I headed straight there and the dress is in fact back to perfect. Also,I was only charged $18. They were so kind and made the whole process easy. I'll definitely be coming back and sending everyone I know. Went in on a whim as we need a new dry cleaner. Our clothes were properly cleaned, owner was super nice, and felt the prices were fair.

Long time customer. Was using CD Cleaners and others locally. CD Cleaners basically destroyed one of my shirts and as a big chain less on the local customer service.. Have had some hiccups with Plaza, but they will try to do the right thing and resolve it. Even had a manager hand deliver an item to the house due to an issue. Don't know of any other dry cleaners That would do that! read more

I dropped off shirt to be "pressed" which I thought meant it would be ironed. Apparently the cleaners has two offerings for shirt service. One costs $2.59 and is a washing and a pressing. The other just "pressing" (not washed) costs around $5.00. The gentleman at the counter encouraged me to get the washing and pressing for the $2.59. Did so. When picked up there was puckering on the collar of the white dress shirt for husband to wear at our son's upcoming wedding. Along with the puckering, creases and wrinkles throughout the shirt. Apparently the service is not ironing the shirt, but they take a steamer and try to steam out the wrinkles/creases/puckerings. They did try to iron the collar where the puckering was but would have liked them to iron the whole shirt. Word of caution, make sure you ask it ironing done or just steaming. read more

I came to Plaza after another local cleaner turned collars on my dress shirts glossy in two cleanings (from worn out press pads I'm sure). Tom is a great owner - really cares about his business and his clients. Has taken numerous difficult stains from clothes, sometimes at his own time and expense to research an alternative when simple cleaning wouldn't do. Also, a true mark of service is not when things are right, but when mistakes happen. Tom has made efforts in the past to credit things that were his mistake and makes it right immediately, without asking! The custom shirt service is great for those that don't want expensive shirts ruined by cheap cleaners that have no service and generic offerings that ultimately damage clothes. Support your local small business - not a generic chain that will ruin your clothing and not care about it after! read more

Went here twice. The first time instead of telling me that they couldn't get the stains out of my comforter, they took it, did whatever they did and charged me a bunch of money for wasting my time. Second time I went in, I dropped off my Banana Republic Pea Coat to be dry cleaned and have a couple buttons sewed back on. I went to pick it up and was completely ignored while the two much older women chatted away with the customers in front of them, even though they were completely checked out. I never even got a "We'll be with you in a moment." Finally when I did get to the register, the lady was completely rude to me. I should have checked my jacket before I left because you wouldn't expect an established business like this to completely sew my pockets shut but they did. Someone asked me why I didn't go back and complain. If they sewed my pockets shut on the first try, why would I trust them to fix it? read more

I stopped in this place after going to multiple cleaners and being told they couldn't clean my children's suits in time for my fathers funeral. I was crying and frantic at this point. The man behind the counter not only was able to get them ready in time but took the time to calm me down as well. I will forever be grateful and the suits came out perfect! Plaza Cleaners has lost my business! I dropped off 3 new uniform shirts for work that needed patches sewn on. I also asked that they be cleaned and pressed. Imagine my total shock when I picked them up and was told the bill was $194.00! Even the kid who waited on me thought there was an error in the bill. The manager wouldn't even come out of the office to speak to me. The only remedy I was offered was to leave the shirts there and call the seamstress who was not in until Friday(it was Wednesday night). I had no choice but to pay the bill because I needed my shirts for work. When I got home, I discovered the shirts weren't even cleaned, the tags were still attached. I only paid $90.00 for the shirts and it cost twice that to sew on patches!! What a ripoff!!! read more

This establishment has been around for many years but the service is always good and the staff pleasant and accommodating. Once I had a major job interview but my shirt was an absolute mess. I stopped by on a chance that they might be able to help. Sure enough they did an emergency press if my shirt while I stood there in my undershirt. I ended up getting an offer that day for a contracting job that is now a full time gig and one of the best jobs I have ever had. Of course it wasn't the shirt that got me the job but knowing that I looked good allowed me to focus on the interview. If you are in Frankfort give plaza cleaners a try. Plaza Cleaners needs to work on their customer service! I'm a newer customer, and brought in several dress shirts for cleaning. The cleaning was ok, but when I went to pick them up I tried to use their coupon that I clipped from my Mariano's receipt. They said I couldn't use it because it could only be used when I dropped the clothes off. 'It was already in the computer', so they couldn't or wouldn't take the time to do the math to deduct .50 per shirt to honor their coupon. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told there was no manager on premises. Then they asked me if I wanted the coupon back. I said that wouldn't be necessary, I wont be coming back! Unhappy customer. :-( read more

This business is awful. I have taken 5 shirts, my suit, and tie to them three times. Here were the results. 1st time- I wanted to repair the buttons on 4 of my shirts. Somehow one of my shirts came back with a hole in the elbow. They didn't seem to care when I showed it to them. 2nd time- I walk in and a guy drops a bag of pants off to one of the workers. The worker complains that his pants are in a bag and asks him why he couldn't hang them and give them to her. I pick up my suit and take it to a wedding. When I get to the wedding I notice that all of my buttons on my suitcoat are loose. They were not before. Third time- I took my suit back to have it cleaned and to have the buttons reattached. I needed my dad to pick up the suit for an interview I'm having with a network T.V. station. They hand him a pair of pants and tell him that was my order. What suit comes with just pants? So my dad had to go back and pick it up after they failed to get my order right again. They lost my business after today. read more
