Had a fantastic day with Michael last weekend. It was our (wife and I) first wedding anniversary…read more Michael made sure that the complete day was perfect for us and catered to our needs from before we got there to the time we left. Michael had champagne and flowers waiting for us in our room when we got to Paso. He offered to make our reservation for dinner along with recommendations. He drove us in our car all day, which was awesome cause we can drink and feel taken care of. He recommended some great wineries that we did not know about. He even keeps track of what kind of wines and food you like so in the case of next time you use his services he is already prepared to help plan your day with or for you. Michael wants your time in the area to be a first class as you want it to be. My wife and I love to have fun and be taken care of. He catered to our needs perfectly. We DEFINITELY recommend Michael for your go to guy in the Paso area.

But, if you're like most people, having someone who you can trust, is enjoyable to be around, full of ideas, thoughtful and caring, then you've found your man! Michael had our backs at every turn, and there were lots! We spent 6 wonderful hours with him recently and everyone in our party (4) were especially happy with his service. We started at a small winery of his recommendation and were able to stop at one of our favorites, ending the day at a spectacular winery whose views and amenities were beyond compare. Michael planned the perfect day!

What an adorable place to stay for a weekend trip to Paso…read more The Farmhouse is a newly renovated motel. While the word motel has certain perceptions attached to it, farmhouse is in actuality a bright, modern, and very aesthetically pleasing hotel with wonderful amenities. Prices can be average to above average depending on the time of the year, but we were able to use some credit card points to save even further. I'd say the stay is worth the baseline price, though. We got the standard king bed room. Each room has its own little patio, and a shared fire pit nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and the color palate is a dream. The bathroom amenities were standard. It's a room you wouldn't mind doing a staycation in. The service is wonderful. There is a front desk for easy check in, and the host was available via text if we needed anything ( at one point we needed more tissues and she brought it within minutes). They also offer free rosé upon arrival and free pastries and fruit/coffee during breakfast. The location is not exactly in downtown but it's a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive to the park/square. Can't wait to come back .

Such a fun and cute place to stay!…read more For reference, I'm usually not a motel girlie. I've done Hampton Inns and similar but prefer the Four Seasons and Ritz Carltons. Having said that, I've had better customer service at some 3 star places than some 5 stars. I had read great things about this place and it looked so fun, I couldn't pass it up! Guest services here are stellar. I called the day before to see if we could store our luggage in the lobby, realizing we had a tasting before checkin. Not only was that fine, but they said we could get into our room a little early to avoid that. And, they left us a sweet note and gift for our anniversary! If we needed anything, they were quick to reply and help throughout the stay. (For example, hubby forgot his toothbrush. I texted you see if they had any - they did in their gift shop and offered to run one to our room!) The room itself was compact but comfortable and well appointed. And, it was so nice to walk into a cool room on such a hot day. (Don't take that for granted - I've had less than great on that front.) Storage is a little limited, but we used our luggage as a dresser drawer. The bed was firm and cozy, and the sheets were lovely. We slept great! The toilet paper and tissues were a little rough - almost office supply quality - which was disappointing. Huge TV with lots of options. They serve croissants and coffee/tea in the lobby/lounge area in the morning. The croissants were big, buttery, and beautiful! Yummy! The coffee was meh at best. The location is great - just a few blocks to the town park and restaurants. We didn't have an opportunity to use the fire pit, but they looked cozy. The property itself is pretty with lots of flowers. The drive/walkway was steep in some places. Parking seemed a little tricky - we saw people taking a few attempts to make it work - but doable. You only get 1 key per room. We were doing things together the entire time, so that wasn't an issue. I would have liked to have seen an extra security lock on the door, but that's me. All in all it was a great stay and I would be happy to return! (Hint, hint in case hubby sees this!) Huge thanks to all there for making our anniversary getaway a romantic, relaxing treat!
