We came for a Mini Girls Weekend getaway (there were four of us); we were told about the construction upon booking but they did undersell the amount of construction...the ENTIRE hotel is under construction. There was no noise with the construction at all mainly because we were out during the day. However, the pool and hot tub were unavailable, there was no in-hotel dining, the elevators are wrapped in thick cardboard, you have to enter through a service entrance and there is a makeshift concierge desk and there is only one floor completed that guests can stay in, the water is sporadic and spouts at first when using the sinks and shower but after 30-40 seconds it gets full pressure. Also, we had issues with the key cards due to the old system and the doors being removed. I have no doubt this hotel will be absolutely beautiful once completed but we probably should have waited to stay here until then. If booking here, I recommend you ask about the status of the construction and what amenities are available.

Such an expensive hotel for dirty disgusting rooms. Sad to hear they renovated the hotel and I'm shocked that the hotel rooms were so dirty for it being updated. The room I stayed in had gross blood-looking stains on the carpet, food crumbs around the couch, and dead flies in the bathroom. With how much the room cost for the weekend I can't believe I had such a dirty room. Also, fyi, the pool was closed and this hotel and the nearby back hotel charge for parking. Needless to say I will NOT stay at Bellasera again!

Beautiful boutique hotel with lovely grounds, lobby and room furnishings. We wanted to try somewhere new, so we read all the Yelp reviews and booked this place online because it has a bar and restaurant on-site, one of my life's necessities when booking a hotel, and not just any restaurant but a highly Yelp rated restaurant, Enoteca. Check-in was professional and pleasant. Our suite is exceptionally grand with beautiful decor and lots of space, with two tvs, a walk-in shower, plus a nice sunset view from the third floor on the non-freeway side. Everything seems new and swanky, although the plantings and pool area appear well established. The rooms are definitely a cut above a Hilton with an individual, non-chain feel. We will definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased by our stay at La Bellasera Hotel. It sits just south of Paso Robles but is far enough off the 101, and well enough insulated that we couldn't hear the freeway. Check in was a breeze, the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a lovely suite with a great view out to the hills. Very comfortable, well appointed with coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. A pair of wine glasses, highball glasses and bottle opener let you enjoy beverages in your room! The outdoor pool/hot tub area is nice with good views. An excellent restaurant, Enoteca, is just off the lobby.

We decided to go wine tasting Paso Robles for my girlfriends birthday and wanted to stay at a nicer hotel! , so decided to check this place out!!! One of the better looking hotels in pasó Robles , convenient that is next to a shopping center which was CLUTCH!!! Staff was beyond friendly, provided above and beyond service, answered all questions with a smile , very attentive and courteous!! Our room ACs was not working properly and from other reviews this is a repetitive issue however we were placed in another room within 15 minutes, which was pleasantly helpful!! Best part of this hotel was the fact they give you big boy bottles to shower, versus your typical baby toiletries!! Highly recommended, little pricey but will be staying here again !!

Last minute choice as we had a late plan to visit Paso Robles. We loved their rooms and the jacuzzi in the room. The only point that I would take away a star for was the internet service inside the room. It was spotty and unreliable at best. The staff was friendly and hospitable

    Ceiling leak on floor

Had a horrible experience this past visit, my ceiling was leaking all over the tile entrance floor. My wife almost slipped while entering room. We put towels all over floor and went downstairs to talk to person in the front desk by the name of "Rick". He has been the rudest person I have dealt with. As I told him about the leak in our room which I took video of and showed him. All he said was that the only thing he can do is give us more towels to place on floor. I showed him the video and told him that my wife almost slipped. It was a huge leak that traveled all the way to the restroom. And he said they thought they had fixed it. And could only offer extra towels. I told him to please move me to another room. It was late around 10pm. At first he said they were completely booked until I said I was going to complain to the manager and miraculously now their where rooms available. I have always had a wonderful experience here with other staff members but I will never come back because of "Rick" and the lack of staff. So disappointed because until then this hotel was my favorite when going wine tasting in Paso :( Haven't heard anything from management. Not surprised they literally had one person working in entire hotel.

*COVID-19 Experience* We booked this place back in June for our August trip to Paso. BF wanted to stay here for their in room jacuzzi and location. This place is newly renovated, it's clean and was definitely worth getting the in room jacuzzi. Location was awesome too! Very close to Austin Hope winery, Starbucks, McDonald's, and more! I'd stay here again.

I was towed to a nearby street so I didn't have to worry about being charged for self-parking. We were greeted warmly and given a clean quiet room on the 3rd floor. We were across a parking lot from a strip mall and were able to stock up on pjs and snacks. It was the silver lining after a stressful afternoon. Breakfast was good: eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, oatmeal. I would stay here again.

This has been the only hotel that charges a parking fee. The ones closer to downtown doesn't even charge anything. It took me a while to set up pay to park, which was not fun after a long day of work. My 1st night I amlost fell on toilet because they are super low. They are elementary school sized toilets. As someone else mentioned, the big gap underneath the door makes it easier to hear everyone. The 1st night I heard some lady have a long conversation at 11 pm and on. My last day, someone's phone vibrated at 5am, 5:15 and 5:30am and I thought it was my phone bc of the thin walls. That person also had a full on conversation with his partner, so needless to say I gave up on sleeping until 730 am. Another thing I didn't like is the lack of black out curtains. So the sunrise would wake me up the first couple more nights. Room does have a nice size and I like how it has a desk. Wish there was a light switch to turn on more lights in the room, instead of individually flipping on all the lights. Other amenities they offer are free breakfast, mini gym and computer to do office or emails. I had stomach issues 2 days in a row from their breakfast so I started to stick with fruits and coffee for breakfast. I'm pretty sure the yogurt gave me issues because it's just yogurt on an ice pack on the bottom vs other places having yogurt in the fridgator or some container that looks like it stays cooler. The gym had a couple treadmills, free weights, kettle bells, the jumping box thingy, and a thing that looks like a bow flex. I personally would not book this place ever again due to paying to park, not having to have good sleep due to thin walls and gap underneath the door and the food giving me stomach issues. But I will say staff is friendly tho!

For my Wife's Birthday this past November, we booked our first trip to Paso Robles…read more To be perfectly honest... I don't know why, but I always thought that Paso Robles or "Paso" as it's referred to, was some Podunk town that just wasn't worth stopping for. Yeah, I've passed it so many times while traveling North on "THE 101" or simply "101" as they refer to it in NorCal.... ;) (IYKYK) And all those times I've passed through, I've never once thought about pulling off the freeway to see what Paso was all about. Well, just like Julia Robert's character said in Pretty Woman while shopping on Rodeo Drive.... "Big Mistake. Big. HUGE!" Yeah, just like that sales clerk in Pretty Woman I too made a HUGE mistake! Plot Twist: I am the Good Looking Not Quite the Silver Fox Richard Gere of this story. =) ----So let's break down Paso & The Ava Hotel---- For my wife's Birthday Weekend, we made reservations at... The Ava Hotel Paso Robles. Mind you, we left mid-day from our home and by the time we arrived to Paso and pulled into the Hotel parking lot, it was already dark, but right away I could tell that the Hotel my wife booked us was Top Notch. First Impression: Sheesh, my wife sure knows how to spoil herself for HER Birthday weekend. Haha. Once parked, I had my wife and 3 girls head into the lobby out of the cold while I lugged what felt like 12 suitcases... We were only there for three nights; do you really need a suit case just for your change of shoes?? Gotta love Girls... Plot twist: The suitcase with the extra shoes.... WAS MINE!!!!!! Jk, maybe, not really, I'll never tell... =) Upon checking in, I immediately noticed how Great the staff was; Kind, Welcoming and from the looks of the place, even at night, I just knew we were going to enjoy our weekend stay here. ----The Room---- Everything you'd expect, but More! We had 2 comfy Queens, a large screen TV, a mini fridge, a clean bathroom and a Great standalone shower! Being that this hotel is Brand New, everything was clean and felt nearly unused which really made for an enjoyable stay. The next morning, my wife's actual Birthday, we got dressed, headed downstairs and celebrated with a Birthday Mimosa from their Lobby Bar. It was the perfect start to our day and to my wife's Special Day From there we headed out to explore Downtown Paso Robles which BTW, The Ava Hotel is what I would call the start of the Downtown area so it's literally the PERFECT place to stay if you, yourself come to Paso Robles one day. And to those still with us, Remember earlier when I said I made a "Big Mistake. Big. Huge!" By simply thinking that Paso Robles was some Podunk, no-nothin town that wasn't worth exiting the freeway for?? Well, I'll be the 1st to admit. I was wrong!!! Paso is one of my new favorite Central Coast towns that I can't wait to come back to. The fun little shops, the great eateries, Wine, more Wine, Did I mention there's Wine? Yeah, loads and loads of world-renowned wineries specializing in French Reds, but they've got whites too so don't stress. Not a wine person? More of a beer drinker? Paso's Got You!! Come check out Firestone Walker Brewing Co., home of the "805" beer; the regions Phone Area Code. Yeah, drink local baby!! So after enjoying breakfast at the Cowgirl Cafe (Epic Review coming soon), we went to the downtown park at let our kids play with the locals. We then hit several of the eclectic shops, including a local bookstore where my wife was like a kid in a candy store and The Spice of Life Tea Shop which I fell in love with (reviews of everywhere we went NEXT, so stay tuned) and finally made our way back to The Ava to take a break and rest our pups (our feet). Upon walking back to The Ava Hotel, I couldn't help but be in Awe of this well manicured, architecturally forward, beautifully designed building. To be honest, It looks and it feels more like a Resort and I felt so spoiled to be apart of its beginning days and I'm proud to give it the 5 stars it deserves. So... What have we learned?? Step 1: Book a room at the Ava Hotel. Step 2: Put your wife's name on the luggage tag of your suitcase for the extra shoes you really brought. Step 3: Bring one empty suitcase for all the Romantasy books your wife's gonna buy at Spare Time Books! To Paso.... To The Ava Hotel... I can't wait to come back!

Upon arrival I parked on a side of the hotel, where there were several open street parking spaces right near, what appeared to be, the entrance door. I walked in with my luggage and asked if this was the proper location to park and was told sure, it was free. I checked in and was given the keys. As we walked down the hallway we noticed that it was heavliy sented with an artifical fragrance that was overpowering. The room was of the new type, a box with the cabinets and table bolted to the wall, not built in. It was of average size, not a suite. I noticed, even for $400 per night, there were no robes provided and only on luggage rack. I called the front desk and was told there were no robes, and they would send over another luggage rack. We waited about an hour then decided to go out to dinner. when we came back, about 2 hours later the rack was leaning against the door. I went to the front desk and asked where I might be able to get coffee and the staff of three all looked at each other and said they did not have any coffee, then once person said they had it at the bar upstairs. I went up and was told they don't have any coffee. Overall it just seemed disogranized. There are a lot of other locations I have stayed and will go back to them.

She was so welcoming to us and so beautiful inside and out. She explained everything to us, showed us our spectacular room, Adelaide, that was full of upscale amenities. The entire room and bath area was amazing. The grand fireplace, the bathtub for two, the linens on the bed, the fabulous bottle of wine-I could go on. Even the coffee was from a local, organic coffee maker. Now let's get to the three-course breakfast we were served everyday of our four-day stay. We felt like we were at a three-star Michelin restaurant that included incredible homemade juices by Lisa. Each course was so presented so elegantly, but also in an atmosphere that made you feel right at home. Of course we went wine tasting. Lisa and Rob (Lisa's husband and co-owner) recommended wonderful wineries that we went to, and we were very pleased. Everywhere we went I had to tell them where we were staying and how beautiful and relaxing the B&B was. Back on our first morning there, Rob had taken us for a tour of the farm where we saw the game room, wedding area, the vineyard, and my favorite-the beautiful highlander cattle. Such an experience-no wonder Lisa and Rob are so happy there. Also, an honorable mention goes out to Little Girl, their precious kitty. We will definitely be back and have told all of our friends about this heaven on earth B&B. Thank you, Lisa and Rob, for making my birthday a wonderful memory!

She never stopped hustling and kept everything moving with a great attitude. Honestly, the fact that one person was left to run the entire cafe by herself feels like a management staffing issue, not an employee issue. Management should make sure the cafe is properly staffed, and if someone calls in sick or doesn't show up, leadership should step in to help rather than leaving one employee to carry the entire workload alone.
