I've stayed here roughly 8/9 times over the past 7 years. The location is conveniently located just outside of Paso Robles off of the freeway. This boutique Hilton property is clean and updated!! Great restaurant and bar. Parking is a chore given their subcontractor agreement that charges through an app??!! Other than that I enjoy staying here. Today Hailey to great care of me and my lady allowing us to check in early AND upgraded our room. Guess loyalty has its perks!!!! I wouldn't let the fancy name fool you. I was initially given a wheelchair-accessible room, and it was in very poor condition. It honestly made me wonder--if this is what they provide for guests with disabilities, that's concerning. The shower knob was broken, there was an old leather jacket left in the closet, and there was barely any countertop space in the bathroom. Along with several other minor issues, it was clear the room hadn't been properly checked or cleaned. To their credit, the staff was friendly and quickly moved me to another room, which I appreciated. That said, for a hotel of this caliber, you'd expect at least complimentary coffee--but there wasn't any. They do have a restaurant that opens at 7:00 AM, but when I arrived right at 7:00, it wasn't open. An employee mentioned the staff was running late--it was already 7:10 AM by then. Not a great look. I've stayed at the Courthouse Marriott before, where they offer free coffee and breakfast, and in hindsight, I wish I had stayed there again. The Bellasera was a nice hotel to stay on Christmas Eve and Christmas Night. Conveniently located at Highway 46 and the 101 Freeway, across from a shopping center with a Target, Blaze Pizza and a Michael's, and close to many wineries in the area. The hotel is a Hilton Tapestry Collection, which had a nice, boutique hotel feel. The lobby had a nice space to lounge around, hardwood-style laminate floors with area rug runners to dampen the noise of the rolling suitcases. We stayed on the 3rd floor, room 314. The room was much larger than I expected. Large king size bed, big chez lounge chair on one side near the wet bar area (with mini fridge and a k-cup coffee brewing machine), and by the window opposite the room is a tall chest of drawers, desk, a large mounted TV, and a reading chair. The curtains blocked the outside light really well. The restroom had a large frosted window panel on the door, so the restroom lights illuminated the bedroom area, which was annoying, and didn't give the feeling of privacy. The shower was a nice size and worked well. Plenty of hot water. The conditioner was out and the body wash was unmounted from the wash and was placed on the shower ledge. Someone must have been aggressive with the shower knob as it would pull out of its mechanism, but still functioned fine. The only annoyance was the $11.50/night parking that had to be paid separate from the room/accommodations, but through a QR code in the parking lot. Overall good value and would stay here again. read more

Cute boutique hotel. Nice lobby and restaurant. Across the street from many shopping stores including target. We had a suite and the room was large. Mattresses are medium comfort. Shower took a very long time for water to get warm and water pressure was weak and water never got hot. The weirdest thing on the hotel room was no lock on the bathroom door. I like a little privacy. A little surprised being a Hilton hotel that there was only one robe in the room, no free water bottles in room, only one luggage rack. Very basic room amenities. There is a microwave in the room which is nice. The room was quiet even though it is next to the highway. They charge extra for parking - $10 plus a $5 service fee, would be nice if it was included in the room read more

We came for a Mini Girls Weekend getaway (there were four of us); we were told about the construction upon booking but they did undersell the amount of construction...the ENTIRE hotel is under construction. There was no noise with the construction at all mainly because we were out during the day. However, the pool and hot tub were unavailable, there was no in-hotel dining, the elevators are wrapped in thick cardboard, you have to enter through a service entrance and there is a makeshift concierge desk and there is only one floor completed that guests can stay in, the water is sporadic and spouts at first when using the sinks and shower but after 30-40 seconds it gets full pressure. Also, we had issues with the key cards due to the old system and the doors being removed. I have no doubt this hotel will be absolutely beautiful once completed but we probably should have waited to stay here until then. If booking here, I recommend you ask about the status of the construction and what amenities are available. read more

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! Nothing worse than driving all day and night, and pulling off the road to get some sleep, just for some front desk clerk to be condescending and mean. One of their multiple hidden fees is they charge for parking. I booked this place last minute cause i was tired driving, checked in after midnight. After going to my room, i forget something and went back out to my car. Thank goodness I did. I walked out a different direction than I entered and saw a "pay to park QR code" sign i didnt see when i parked. I went in and asked if you had to pay to park. He said yes. My car could've been towed if i didn't go back out. i asked why he didnt ask me if i had a car when i checked in. He just laughed in my face and said "cause theres signs everywhere!" What a total unprofessional response to say. That sums up the type of service you get here. Why not go to any other hotel than subject yourself to that? Also, there are not signs "everywhere". There was NO SIGN at my parking spot. The closest sign was another car 3 spots away that you wudnt see if you didnt park in that space. I went and looked, there was a hidden sandwich board sign that looked like it was put away and set aside for the night since it was after midnight, i mean you had to be looking for it to see it. He pointed to one of the small pieces of clutter on the long counter that i was supposed to see when i checked in but didnt because im looking up my reservation and digging out wallet and credit card and driver license and im dead tired from driving all day. I mean JFC, how hard is it to say "do you have a car?" Nah, they would rather do the bare minimum, punish you for not knowing, expect you to click on QR codes that you dont see to relay hidden information instead of talking to you like a human. What's the point of even having a human there except to literally laugh in your face like this guy did. What is wrong people? read more

Such an expensive hotel for dirty disgusting rooms. Sad to hear they renovated the hotel and I'm shocked that the hotel rooms were so dirty for it being updated. The room I stayed in had gross blood-looking stains on the carpet, food crumbs around the couch, and dead flies in the bathroom. With how much the room cost for the weekend I can't believe I had such a dirty room. Also, fyi, the pool was closed and this hotel and the nearby back hotel charge for parking. Beautiful boutique hotel with lovely grounds, lobby and room furnishings. We wanted to try somewhere new, so we read all the Yelp reviews and booked this place online because it has a bar and restaurant on-site, one of my life's necessities when booking a hotel, and not just any restaurant but a highly Yelp rated restaurant, Enoteca. Check-in was professional and pleasant. Our suite is exceptionally grand with beautiful decor and lots of space, with two tvs, a walk-in shower, plus a nice sunset view from the third floor on the non-freeway side. Everything seems new and swanky, although the plantings and pool area appear well established. The rooms are definitely a cut above a Hilton with an individual, non-chain feel. We were very pleased by our stay at La Bellasera Hotel. It sits just south of Paso Robles but is far enough off the 101, and well enough insulated that we couldn't hear the freeway. Check in was a breeze, the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a lovely suite with a great view out to the hills. Very comfortable, well appointed with coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. A pair of wine glasses, highball glasses and bottle opener let you enjoy beverages in your room! The outdoor pool/hot tub area is nice with good views. An excellent restaurant, Enoteca, is just off the lobby. read more

We decided to go wine tasting Paso Robles for my girlfriends birthday and wanted to stay at a nicer hotel! , so decided to check this place out!!! One of the better looking hotels in pasó Robles , convenient that is next to a shopping center which was CLUTCH!!! Staff was beyond friendly, provided above and beyond service, answered all questions with a smile , very attentive and courteous!! Our room ACs was not working properly and from other reviews this is a repetitive issue however we were placed in another room within 15 minutes, which was pleasantly helpful!! Best part of this hotel was the fact they give you big boy bottles to shower, versus your typical baby toiletries!! Highly recommended, little pricey but will be staying here again !! read more

The worst hotel experience I have had on my 36 years on this earth. The room we booked was not the room we were given. Upon checking in we find the large hot tub in the room ( the main reason we had booked it ) had been replaced during the remodels with a single person bath tub. The hotel neglected to update any of the photos of this "newly remodeled" property. There was a large leak above our bathtub, as in water was pouring from the ceiling, coming from the tub in the room above ours. The front desk told us the our options were to move rooms to a different lay out that also had a tub, but then asked us to not use the tub for the duration of the stay, because apparently they are all leaking, or get walked to a lesser quality sister property. This hotel shouldn't even be open in it's current state. This had to have been the cheapest, quickest, remodel they could have possibly done. Charging $300+ a night is ludicrous. There is no restaurant on site, there is no pool, there is no hot tub. There are no longer hot tubs in any of the rooms. There was no phone in our room. There was no drain in the sink in the bathroom. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentines Day weekend getaway turned into 2-3 hours of stress and dealing with the front desk before we demanded a full refund and just drove back home. The front desk did offer us 40% off our stay, but even at that price, this hotel isn't worth it. Hopefully they can get their act together, but at this point in time, I would very much steer clear. read more

How ashamed must the ownership of this hotel be to still be charging full rates at a hotel that is a ripped apart construction zone , staff smoking cigarettes at all doorways , zero amenities and a literal dumpster taking up the parking lot ... pool area filthy ... we were told none of this before we checked in (and very quickly left) Shame on this property for scamming guests like this .. you have lost a customer and most likely many more with this horrible choice . read more

We normally stay at Oxford Suites for our Paso trips but the wife wanted to try something new. So she booked us a stay here on our most recent trip. The hotel is nice and the staff is certainly very friendly. But the room we stayed in had a musty sock smell when we first entered and it never really went away. Also the A/C didn't really seem to work very well. Even though we turned the temp down to 65 degrees and the A/C seemed to run quite a lot, it never really seemed to get the room as cool as we wanted it. We paid the extra money for a room with a jacuzzi tub inside anad we did use it once. But it took FOREVER to fill up the tub and I felt very guilty doing this since California has just gotten out of a years long drought. Turning the jets on was quite loud. I hope it didn't bother our neighbors too much. But soaking in the hot tub did feel very good and I was extremely relaxed when we got out. We ate at the restaurant inside the hotel for breakfast and it was good. The previous night we had gone to a cooking class at Onx winery and while talking to the Sous Chef about where we were staying in town she remarked that the restaurant was good and had been consistent for years. But we weren't really "wow'd" by this hotel and will probably go back to Oxfors Suites next time. read more

Had a horrible experience this past visit, my ceiling was leaking all over the tile entrance floor. My wife almost slipped while entering room. We put towels all over floor and went downstairs to talk to person in the front desk by the name of "Rick". He has been the rudest person I have dealt with. As I told him about the leak in our room which I took video of and showed him. All he said was that the only thing he can do is give us more towels to place on floor. I showed him the video and told him that my wife almost slipped. It was a huge leak that traveled all the way to the restroom. And he said they thought they had fixed it. And could only offer extra towels. I told him to please move me to another room. It was late around 10pm. At first he said they were completely booked until I said I was going to complain to the manager and miraculously now their where rooms available. I have always had a wonderful experience here with other staff members but I will never come back because of "Rick" and the lack of staff. So disappointed because until then this hotel was my favorite when going wine tasting in Paso :( Haven't heard anything from management. This is a very nice hotel located right off the freeway next to a shopping mall so you are within walking distance to Target and several food places. There is free parking and all but one time we were able to find parking right out in front of the hotel. If you can't find parking in the parking lot there is also free street parking. The lobby area is very pretty and clean. They offer nightly wine tastings from different boutique wineries in the area. Check in was ok and they offer free water which was nice. Throughout our stay, most of the staff at the front desk were fairly pleasant. Some would greet us as we walked by and others acted as though they didn't see us. We were in room 410 (I think) and it was a King room with a jacuzzi bathtub. The room and bathroom were very spacious. They offer shampoo, conditioner and body wash however, I don't like that they are the full bottles attached to the shower wall. Those can be tampered with by other guests and some nasty stuff can be put in them. Glad I brought my own with me. There was a desk, sitting area, mini fridge, microwave and safe. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and I really liked that there were doors that closed off the bedroom from the rest of the room. It was actually very important for us as the AC wasn't working well in our room and it was very apparent when we got in the room because there was a portable AC Unit in the bedroom with the air vent taped to the window. A bit ghetto BUT it worked and kept us comfortable once we closed off the bedroom at night. For as much as we spent per night our room should've been a bit discounted because of this. The jacuzzi bathtub was nice and fit two people easily. Our first night, we decided to give the hotel restaurant a try and it was really yummy (I wrote a separate review). All in all this place is nicely located in Paso not far from wineries or SLO beaches. I'd stay here again. read more

Arrived at the Hotel and went to room 119. This is not a cheap hotel and we read a lot of good reviews on it. When we entered the room it felt like it was only half cleaned. On a 3-day weekend, they do not have extra rooms. We figured we would have house cleaning clean the room the next day and give the benefit of the doubt. Went to the restaurant (ENOTECA). Maybe this should have been the 2nd sign this was not going to be great. Food was just ok and way overpriced for what you get. The next morning we woke up early to go golf and laying dead in the kitchen area was a cockroach. Glad it was dead but if there is one there is more. Took pictures and alerted the front desk who said they would have someone take care of this and also clean the entire room. I also let them know about the crumbs on the couch, crumbs on the floor, and the dirty floor in the kitchen. They took notes and we went off for the day. Returned 5 hours later just to find that not a single thing was done and had to go back to the front desk where there was no note from the last person I spoke with. Talked with the manager who said he would have it cleaned. Off we went to lunch and dinner downtown. Came back that night and it seemed cleaner than when we left but not that great. The next morning I went to reheat some food and the microwave was never cleaned and was covered in food particles. We alerted the manager again and just left. I will never stay at this place again and the lack of attention from the staff & manager was horrible. read more

So, just checked in after a long day on the road. Dropped off bags, went for food to comeback and our keys won't work. Desk doesn't know how/when we'll get in Here's the really nice part...told them my wife is diabetic and insulin dependent and the desk clerks replied "we'll call you a paramedic if needed" older lady on the right. Lady on the left was really nice. Imagine that.... How about being able to access the room!!! 2 hours later, and 6 attempts....were in. Word of advice. If you like going in and out of your room, stay elsewhere. Again, really can't say enough nice things about the younger, professional that worked the front desk and the handyman who came by 2 hours later. The low rating is for the poor customer service. Via Expedia, we booked the two queens whirlpool suite. We tried to check-in at 1:30 pm and our room wasn't ready yet. Check-in is at 3:00 pm so that was understandable. I called at 2:30 pm and the room still wasn't ready. Ok. I called at 4:00 pm and was told our room would be ready in 30 minutes. When we went to the front desk at 4:30 pm, our room still wasn't ready. We were extremely frustrated and the general manager had no valid excuse as to why our room wasn't ready yet and was only offering a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience (which we never received). They knew we were waiting for our room and there is no excuse as to why it took over 3 hours to clean our room. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms are clean and spacious. Warning - You need to make a reservation for the pool and restaurant. We weren't informed beforehand. read more

We stayed here back in September and I never reviewed this place. The parking lot is kind of small but there is street parking. The room with the jacuzzi tub was amazing. If the price is right I definitely recommend staying here. I just stayed at Allegretto and I actually think this place competes and beats their room. However Allegretto has better grounds. read more

They gave me a complimentary upgrade for I don't know why...but made me feel super special because it was my birthday (maybe that's why). But I am SOLD. I will book this hotel every opportunity I can because it is lovely, beautiful, comfortable, and clean. This hotel is doing everything right. Aside from the amenities, I just want to say that the moment you decide to crawl into bed, it feels like heaven. It feels exactly what you'd expect when you're getting away. Soft, fluffy, fresh, and relaxing. I could live there. The only picture not included is the living room area that had a sofa bed, TV, and fireplace! I had been planning this trip for months for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I wanted something more than just a Holiday Inn or Comfort Suites. La Bellasera is very elegant and the entire staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little older, and could use some upgrades: No Smart TVs, water takes FOREVER to get hot, carpet had a few stains, no pen or paper at the desk, the shower door lets a lot of water out, and the room seemed stuffy unless we turned the A/C down below 70. On the plus side: Bed was comfy, room was quiet, shower is big enough for 2 people , blackout curtains are a huge plus for sleeping in, room was HUGE, 2 TVs, and there is mini bar area. Having a nice restaurant in the hotel was a plus, and free wine tasting in the lobby was nice also. Like I said, I had been planning for months and did my research. I think the only real disappointment I had was they didn't do a little more considering the occasion. They gave us a bottle of champagne, but only after I did give a heads up when we checked in. When I made the reservation, I noted the reason for our stay. All in all, our stay was good. read more

I paid a premium to stay here in July 2023. Got to my room with my two kids and looked forward to taking a shower and going to bed. The toilet did not flush though. I called the ffront desk and they said they would be up. I waited and hour and no one showd. I could not take a shower because they were coming to look at the toilet. I went down to the front desk. They said they would be up. It took about an hour and a half before someobne came up and said the valve was broken on the toilet. Not at all what I would expect for a $400 room. In the morning I was told they would not dio anything for me because I booked through a third part booking sight. Not a way to treat a guest. read more

We decided to leave early for our trip to San Luis Obispo and stopped for the night at this hotel. The decor is very beautiful and classy. Our room had a jacuzzi and king bed at a decent price. The reason for only 4 stars is because the lady at the check-in counter was very short and kinda rude, (brunette) March 16th 2022 around 5:30pmish? I got apprehensive at that point and was feeling unwelcome as we walked to our room. A couple hours later my husband went to the front desk to ask for a shower cap for me and a different lady was there and she was super sweet and told my husband she will find me one. she ended up giving me 2, Thank you. Look of room is great. Our "suite" has a kitchenette and a fireplace. I know it's summer, and technically the fireplace isn't really needed but the fireplace kept going out for the first hour before it finally decided it would work. Again the rooms themselves look good and as a personal preference, and I just don't like that the only way to turn on the bedroom light is after you walk in and go to the nightstand to turn it on. There's no switch at the doorway we have now had to redo our keys twice in the last 24 hours as there seems to be an issue every now and then. Apparently I stayed here several years back. Room also has a nice balcony overlooking the freeway lol! My major complaint is here. We are in Paso Robles wine country and there's no wine bottle opener in the room even though there are wine glasses I have never stayed in a hotel in Paso Robles without a wine, bottle, opener ever! And this is a hotel that has wine tastings throughout the week and sells wine by the bottle. I really can't believe that. Specially, with the price I'm paying for two days here (over $800.) One thing I can tell you never again I will get something closer into Paso Robles downtown on my next trip. One last thing they try and pass off as a charcuterie board that they sell in their gift shop. It's basically the Hormel package you get at Ralph's or Costco when you're heading to a party and have forgotten to get something else lol! The black tray with the two bags of cheese, a bag of crackers, and a bag of pepperoni and salami . It doesn't get any more cheese ball! I will also say the help is good can't really blame them. We recently had a girls weekend, and with 5 ladies, wanted to be able to comfortably accommodate everyone in a suite. We opted for the 2 King Room suite, which also has 2 bathrooms. Perfect for everyone to get ready at the same time. The room was nice, with a view of the highway and abandoned motel next door. The toilet was running continuously. A guy came up twice to fix it but it was still broken when we left. I was unaware that the restaurant/bar was closed when I booked the room. I was disappointed because we were arriving at different times and it would have been nice to sit back with a drink. I also heard several stories as to why it was closed. I thought it was bizarre that the tables were all set with plates and glasses as if it could open up any minute. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a large suite. It can accommodate 4, not 5 though. The pullout couch is the worst thing I've ever slept on. We referred to it as the prison cot for the rest of the trip. We frequent Paso a lot. We are looking for property in the area and almost always travel with our dog. The hotel is not dog friendly so I highly doubt I'd stay here again. read more
