This place is the worst. Staff lacks communication and they managed to order the wrong lab work after giving them specific instructions on what to order. They are Extremely slow and if they can manage to mess up something so simple but so critical I would hate to have a real need that's life threatening. I did Web Check-in at 7:15 am and the office opened at 8. I received a call at 8:00 am that I could come in right away. I was seen immediately. The doctor (Dr Brofer) was so kind. However, he was in and out in about 3 minutes. I don't have a problem with that, as I don't expect an urgent care clinic to replace my PCP. The only way that I had during my 45 minute visit, was to get the prescription and shot from the nurse. I waited about 15 minutes. An elderly (white , male , navy blue scrubs) medical assistant took me back to get my vitals down and once he directed me to the room. That's when everything went extremely downhill! He rushed through the question not really asking for clarification! Also he realized it's my second time testing and he was like " if the results come back positive you should go to somewhere ".. I was like in shock because the way his tone was and how directed it to me was uncalled for. Did not make me feel welcome at all. Don't get me started with front desk! They told me over the phone before I come In that I need a note from my job stating to retest. I explained that im already here now i have to go to my job and get it which is 45 minutes away.. i went to go get it came back and they didn't even ask for the note! I was so pissed!! Then i was late to my dentist appointment!!!!!My third time here and as soon as I'm getting my results I'm never coming back here! He was unprofessional and so were they!!!! Twice I have gone for chest cold and they have put me in an ambulance to the emergency room for a heart skip I have had since the age of 9. When I refused to pay for the visit due to the increased cost they have cost me with ambulance fees and emergency fees. I came in for a drug test for work which was a simple urine test. I was told that the wait was initially 45 minutes. I sat here an hour and a half to be told that it'll be a little longer, and that there is someone ahead of me. I've also seen people come in after me and leave before me. read more

The counter girls are smart asses and when I insisted on talking to a manager I was told they all left for the day, only after I became upset and began arguing with the counter help did a manager finally get on the phone. Called at 11:30am - finally called me back at 3:30pm and said head in. Got there at 3:40pm and sat in the waiting room until 4:15PM then into back room for another 45 minutes. There was no more than 2 people in the waiting room the entire time I was there so it did not appear to be crowded but I heard her tell someone on the phone it would be an 8 hour wait while they appeared to be just taking it easy and having lunch and moving at a super slow pace. I tested positive for the flu and the nurse taking my vitals said earlier when I asked about taking Tamiflu that it was too late since I had symptoms for 5 days. Doctor comes in and says you have flu and I am giving you a script to take Tamiflu. I asked what is the difference between flu strain A and B he said something about your dog cannot catch one or the other and it appeared to me that he had no idea what he was saying because I almost laughed when he started talking about dogs. He then looked into my nose and said take Tamiflu and left after spending a whole 2 minutes with me. The Sublet and Cooper location in Arlington, TX used to be a good place to go when sick but it has changed and I will not be returning there again. NO STAR RATING FOR THIS PLACE! read more

She was exactly the help we needed with an infected injury to our mom who has Alzheimer's during her first week in memory care home. My issue is with the nurses I was given a diagnosis on a Wednesday 3 days later I have not been able to reach a nurse on the phone in order to get a medication clarification the medication needed to treat my illness... The customer service is lacking as the nurses have failed to respond to voicemails, phone calls, or messages passed on by other co workers. I am frustrated because it has been 3 days and I have not been able to receive tx because of a failure of the nurses to follow-up. Very disappointed! Tested positive for Strep and asked the doctor for Zithromax, told her penicillin does not work and I am allergic to Keflex. She gave some reason why she needed to give me penicillin and not a Z-pack and I was hurting too bad to question her. I am on my 9th day of penicillin and my throat is still hurting me and they will not call anything else in. I have to make another appointment and pay AGAIN for an office visit. No THANK YOU! I will find another doctor that listens and cares for their patients. (Oddly she told me that Zithromax is not used for Strep.... That is the craziest thing I have ever heard! Scary that a doctor does not what medicines can be used for.) Would check out any place before here. The call ahead was very appealing, but in reality I was still there over an hour. I got a call from my daughters school one day saying that she got a huge gash in her knee on the playground. So I took her to care now to see if she needed stitches. So the doctor came and checked it out then left without telling us if she needed them or not. Just left. She came back about an hour and a half later and layer my daughter down not telling us anything! She took out everything for stitches and gave my daughter at least 6 shots of numbing stuff! NEVER AGAIN! I've been to this clinic several times over the years with mixed results. This was my last time. When I returned home from a trip very sick, I visited Care Now on a Saturday morning and received antibiotics. Those made me even sicker than I already was, so I called right after the clinic opened on Sunday morning. I spent the next 8 hours playing phone tag and being repeatedly told by the nurse, "We can probably call you something else in. We'll call you when it's done." Until eventually 5pm came, they closed, and I still had no medicine. I know they're busy, but there's no excuse for leaving a sick person hanging like that. I paid them $200 for nothing, because I ended up having to go to a different clinic to get the medicine I needed. read more

I called and told them I needed to change to another antibiotic and they won't change to another one until I come back for another visit and pay another co-pay. Heck no! I already paid my co-pay! Went to CareNow on an afternoon when my primary care doctor's office was closed. The doctor at Carenow prescribed an antibiotic and steroids for my issues. A week later, was not feeling any better; actually worse. Called again to see if meds could be extended. They informed me the nurse would talk with the doctor to see if they could call something in and they would call back to let me know when it was called into the pharmacy,. but it would be hours because they do it in between patients. Understood. After about 3.5 to 4 hours, I hadn't received a call so I called back. I was then told that the doctor would have to see me again. I had sat around for hours feeling horrible, then at the end of the day I am told this? And they have no follow-up policy, so I would have to pay for another full visit. Yeah what a scam. Needless to say, I have scheduled an appointment with my regular doctor for tomorrow. Carenow: your message on hold says you can develop a personal relationship with your doctor here. Just a bit of advice - this isn't probably the best way to establish one. My advice: pass on this location. read more

This place is despicable!!!!!! I would leave negative stars if I could. My daughter fell around the pool and cut herself in a very sensitive place and was bleeding. I waited an hour and a half only for them to tell me they didn't want to treat my daughter. I understand that Urgent Care Centers should treat minor cuts, which is what this was. I don't understand how 2 DOCTORS were there and refused to treat my child. They asked me when I checked in if I was ok with having a male doctor take care of her and I told them yes, just please help her. She was in pain and bleeding and we waited for an HOUR and a HALF for them to refuse to treat her!!!!!! I know doctors take an oath to treat people and I should consult with a lawyer because they refused to treat her because of her gender and they only had male doctors!!!!! I am outraged and want everyone to know that if you take your daughter you might not get seen here. They told me to go to another place that was closed!!!! They couldn't even direct me to a place that could take my daugther who was bleeding from a cut in a painful place. I have been here before and can't believe how we were treated!!!!! read more

Do not count on them for primary care. I only give them more than 1 star because for urgent care they are much more functional, and the doctor I saw is quite good. Unfortunately for primary care they are THE worst I have ever endured. They do not communicate with each other so when my supposed primary doctor was on vacation for 2 weeks nobody knew. I needed to get an anti-infective medication that had been called in incorrectly by the office. Every day they said the doctor will call you back today. Then when someone figured out he was on vacation, he still was not going to be back in the office for 2 more weeks (how is that not still being on vacation?) and there was no covering doctor to help, which is a requirement by law for insurance so I don't know how they can get away with what they do. Ultimately I begged them to get another doctor to call me back, but that has not happened yet either so I am not sure what I will do other than sign up for a different clinic. read more

Not worth the time and aggravation! I did the web check in and received a call that it would be a 1.5 hour wait. I got a call 2 hours later stating they were ready. I checked in at the desk and sat for another hour waiting in the lobby. Once I was finally seen, it was not by a doctor but rather a nurse practitioner that wore so much perfume I started to have an asthma attack (I was there for bronchial issues) and all she could do was criticize how sensitive I am and then ask where I got my purse! She then prescribed a medicine for me that I learned after I took it and could not breathe that it should not be given to an asthmatic. When I called back the next morning the staff was friendly and agreed they were in error. They were supposed to call in a new med and call me back...still no word. So, 24 hours later I am worse than when I went there and still will have to try to see my regular doctor when she is available. I would not trust them if you have ANY underlying health problems. Lesson learned, next time I will research all meds before I take them instead of trusting that people in the field are actually competent. read more
