Disappointed to say the least. Went in for a simple case of ringworm. Was told by the doctor it wasn't ringworm, it was a bug bite. She gave me an antibiotic and steroid cream to put on it. Along with a steroid shot. Needless to say IT SUPER SPREAD ALL OVER! The steroid made the ring worm spread like CRAZY! had to go to cvs minute clinic where they were shocked at the misdiagnosis. Do not go to Care now I was feeling horrible so I got up got dressed booked an appointment with the Grapevine Care Now across from Hobby Lobby off Hwy 121 in Euless - online hoping to get something to help me and intended to fill out the online forms upon arrival. I was having trouble completing the forms. The greeter at the front desk will not take your information or insurance. His only output was "connect to the network" What network? Whats the name? Do I need a password? It's unsecured by the way. There are NO signs indicating the unsecured networks name nor that it does not require a password. No one explained that you will not be able to complete anything until you use our unsecured network whatever that network is. I would recommend placing a sign with the network name and instructions stating you will need to fill out the forms online using our network - network name. Our front desk will not take any information. So my appointment was delayed and I had to reschedule go last in line and start over. I'm feeling pretty rough by now and frustrated but finally got to see the RN. It appears I have Acute Bronchitis and I'm scheduled for surgery in 2 days I need help and asked for antibiotics and maybe steroids. When the RN was making her final assessment the RN stated: antibiotics are bad for you that's old school we are trying to teach people- it's old school - they stay in your system for a year or more. Steroids are bad for you they break down your immune system - just let it run its course I'll give you things to help with symptoms... really? While all of this is true there - are times when you need some help. I already have everything she prescribed for the symptoms I could have stayed in bed. The assistant handed me 5 pages and told me to read what to do when I got home. She never went over any of the medications. I would recommend at least going over the medication and going over the instructions of when and how much to take to ensure your patient understands and allow them to ask questions. Really go home and read these papers to see what to do? This clinic is making a lot of money not helping people because if your illness does last a long time and you do get worse then you have to come back and then they will consider giving antibiotics ect. I'm a deep dive researcher and this is common practice for bronchitis: prescription for acute bronchitis might include antibiotics, bronchodilators, anti-inflammatory medications like steroids, or cough suppressants. I got the cough suppressant which I already had on hand. I hope corporate takes some of these recommendations to help better the patient experience. I know I will never go back and would not recommend them to anyone I care about. I drove home feeling worse than when I got there and very disappointed. read more

I visited this location this morning for a drug screening. Myself and another patient arrived at 8:05am and the doors were locked. It was nearly 35° outside and I sat back in my vehicle. It took nearly 25 mins for them to open the lobby. I wanted to get this completed in a timely fashion. However, I was informed there wasn't a lab technician present. I was sent to the Southlake location which was a far better experience. I expect more from a medical facility entrusted with our health. What should have taken 30 mins ended up being 2 hrs. We came here with a bleeding and bruised nose, nose piercing shoved into her nose. These people didn't seem to care at all. We walked in and as usual they asked what was wrong, when we expressed our concern about a broken nose the only thing they seemed to care about is if she could breathe? We waited in the waiting room for about 30 minutes, when we got lead into the triage they lead her to get her weight and height, which is seemingly normal, but suddenly an emergency happened. For about 30 minutes she was waiting a room, in which they forgot about her and left her wondering what she would do. An employee came in and said they were closing the door due to the emergency, as any concerned parent would, I asked where my daughter was, they pointed at my other daughter in a flippant manner, obviously I know she's in the room. The employee asked for my daughter's name and says she'll send her in. Despite what they said, my daughter waited for another 20 minutes, so I left the room to ask and they yelled that they were in an emergency, I get that they were stressed but they were literally just sitting there waiting for the EMT's to deal with it. They completely forgot about my daughter. Later, we finally got looked at and they said there was nothing wrong because she didn't have any nasal whistling, we still did an x-ray to be sure, and the results took 30 minutes just to get a response of that nothing is wrong. That's amazing that she's not hurt, but they blatantly showed no care for a hurt patient. We had to actually ask what to do, because they never said anything. All they said was Tylenol and ice with a chuckle. This was a terrible experience. Don't come here. read more

I came in on a Thursday night due to having difficulties taking a deep breath. I saw Dr. Moody. He listened, was thorough in his assessment and gave me practical advice. I felt like I was heard and he really did care about my well-being. He had told me to call if I had any questions. I have called twice since that visit to inquire about my prescriptions and interactions with other medications I was on. Unfortunately, Dr. Moody was not there either time. I talked to the nurses who assured me that I would get a call back with the needed information that day, prior to the clinic closing. Guess what? Neither time did I get a call back on the day they said I would. They shouldn't tell me they will be calling if that is not the case. VERY poor patient care! read more

On Tuesday I visited this location of CareLESS for a work place accident. After seeing the Dr. who was AMAZING I received a stack of paperwork. One piece of paper was my follow up appointment for 10:00am today Friday 9/9/22. CareNow called me on Thursday to confirm this follow up visit. I didn't get their original call. I called them back 4 TIMES!!! All before closing time. No one and no electronics picked up my call. This morning I arrive 10 minutes early to make sure I get in and out quickly. CareLESS cancelled my follow up visit because I didn't talk to someone. I showed them the call log indicating my 4 calls back to them. This is regarding your clinic at 5301 William D Tate Ave Suite 100 Grapevine, TX 76051. On 19 April I went because my right ear was clogged with wax, I had a very difficult time hearing and the clogged ear was very very uncomfortable. After checking both ears, your staff determined that my right ear had to be flushed with an ear irrigation flushing system. Basically it was a manual spray bottle with a thin hose. After various attempts, they stated it was unsuccessful and for me to see an ENT doctor. I spent $180 for nothing. The doctor I was referred to by my insurance didn't have an appointment available until 16 May. My Hispanic neighbors referred me to a clinic which is used mostly by low income Hispanics without insurance. I decided to give them a try even though they didn't accept any insurance. Well, guess what? I was totally astonished!!! They used a high tech "electronic" ear irrigation system and successfully flushed all the wax from the ear!!! In comparison, Care Now used a cheap low quality manual system. And to top it off, the cost was cheaper than yours even though they didn't accept insurance. Their total cost was only $150, and that included an anti-inflammatory vaccination!!! I'm totally disappointed with Care Now. Next time I have this issue I will instead visit "Mi Clinica Familiar" in Arlington, TX. I will also recommend my family and friends to avoid Care Now and instead go to "Clinica Familiar". Got hurt at work and went to carenow off William D Tate. The lady didnt stitch the cut close all the way. They gave me antibiotics the same day. I came back to get a check up. They took the stitches out got a infection they put me back on antibiotics set in the wait room for 49 min then went back to the back to remove the stitches then was in the backroom for 2 hours waiting to sign the papers. This carenow sucks they need to hire more people with out attitudes and they need get patients in and out so know one will get sick for each other. I'm giving two stars because the staff I encountered were all helpful and pleasant to speak to. However, if you are coming to this location for pre-employment drug screenings... STOP...and find a different location. I sat in the waiting room for nearly 4 hours. They had one medical tech going back and forth between company services and the medical/sick side. When I was finally seen it was quick, the tech was very nice, and the facility was clean. If you're thinking you'll just pop in and be on your way, you will not. I am watching a film called Vaxxed III. They are interviewing people who, either themselves or a loved one, were mistreated by the healthcare system due to the CDC Covid protocol at the time. It is horrifying and many people died terrible deaths due to the protocols. Watching this, I am inspired to express my gratefulness to the staff at CareNow who treated me for Covid in September 2020. I wish I remembered their names. I ended up with Covid pneumonia and my own doctor wouldn't treat me. He just told me to wait until I couldn't breathe then go to the ER. I did not accept this and went to CareNow. The kind doctor there told me he'd treated 500 Covid patients at that point and I would be fine. He gave me steroids and a Z-pac antibiotic (against protocol). I had to go back in a couple weeks for a second round. I recovered after about 3 months, though my lungs are still scarred. I never went to the hospital and obviously survived, thank God and CareNow. The only good thing about getting Covid is that I was able to donate my plasma once I recovered (per the CareNow doc's suggestion), to help other Covid patients with my natural antibodies. I donated about twice a month for at least a year, until Carter Blood Center no longer requested it. read more

Great experience today. I stepped on a shard of glass that was so deeply embedded in my foot that I couldn't remove it myself. I checked in online and the room was ready in about thirty minutes. I waited maybe five minutes in the lobby and ten in the room after the nurse took my vitals- not bad at all. The doctor was very kind and was able to remove the glass. I was there and home in under an hour and so thankful for the care I received! read more

This is the absolute worst emergency clinic , I was seen here for a work injury twice and previously been to another care now (eastchase location) over 10x. This location does not even compare to the eastchase one . The service is very slow . Ive check in online several times and not received a call back , when I did I was told they were very busy ... which they say they are everyday, everytime. They are critically understaffed or just very inefficient. Both times I was taken to a consultation room and waited nearly 1 hrs inside it. I walked out both times and asked if they still knew i was there. Avoid this location at all costs. I have even asked to speak to a supervisor or manager or whatever tittle , left a voicemail that never got returned. Besides being very slow I checked in online was told there would be a 2 hr wait, then told to come Into the clinic to then wait another 30mins to go into a consultation room and then another 40mins to be seen. read more

No one ever called, so I showed up at 8:20PM; they weren't busy and didn't offer any explanation why no one called me, even though they were closing at 9PM. 2) Took my 4-year-old daughter in for a suspected UTI. She was sniffling and coughing from a bug she had been recovering from, so the doctor dismissively told me she had the flu ... I suggested that her vagina was probably not manifesting flu symptoms ... he said he'd give me antibiotics AND tamiflu (even after I told him she's had the non-UTI bug for over a week already, and tamiflu is AT BEST useful in the first 48 hours of the flu). I hate having to use this place, but it was Friday night and I didn't want to wait until Monday to get her some relief. They took a urine sample but wouldn't actually do the lab work to confirm anything ... they've given me the same snotty intractable BS when I've asked for a simple culture to see if something was bacterial or viral before jumping right into an antibiotic regime. And even after he finally agreed to take a culture, they NEVER got back to me with the lab results. They're getting paid for it, so what is the deal with being so stingy with what the customer wants?? Attempted to make an appointment and was denied. I explained to the receptionist that I could not wear a mask due to a medical disability. Another woman got on the phone and was rude and decided to simply hang up on me as I tried explaining that the mandate clearly states anyone with a medical condition or disability isn't required to wear a mask and accommodations should be made for those who cannot. I told the woman I was in severe pain because I injured and possibly broke my knee. Instead of trying to work with me she hung up. So, feeling horrible and needed a COVID test. They only do rapid tests if you have been traveling. Ok. Then I am told because I have United Health Care insurance, that despite what my co pay is, I will be charged a flat fee of $177.00. That made no sense at all. A co pay is a co pay. I have never heard of a flat fee (out of pocket) based on your insurance. I called my insurance to find out they haven't heard of that either and I should have just been charged my co pay of $75.00. I also mentioned to them that during these times no one is to be charged for COVID testing. The response was they still charge for just "visiting". Carenow is a disgrace. I tried getting treatment for an injury i sustained mid-day Monday. They said it would be 1 1/2 hour wait. I elected to wait at home and they would call me when i was "next" in line. That call came 3 hours later. I figured this was due to my not checking in online. I decided to try again the next morning. The next day i check in online at 10 am. Again, quoted 1 1/2 hour until i could be seen. I get a call 3 hours later saying a room is open. Because i desperately needed treatment, i went in. I got weighed and my BP was taken (because that is really important in treating my very obvious injury) and waited in the exam room for for almost 2 hours, no doctor. People across the hall said they had been waiting since 11:30. Sick of waiting, we left and went somewhere better. Care"now", please either set the expectation that you are not an URGENT CARE provider and your customers cannot expect such, or get a bigger staff of doctors. read more

This Urgent Care has caught 3 serious issues for my family over the last couple of years - an arrhythmia, a paralyzed diaphragm (!) and a lung abscess. Unusually thorough for a type of facility that is usually known for rushing through and doing superficial exams. Grapevine My daughter went there with a high fever, throat pain, couldn't swollow anything and coughing non stop and after they did all these tests they send her on her way with NO medicine or anything what so ever saying it was a virus. She came back home even worse and the fever wouldn't stop. I called them twice complaining and asking why isn't she giving any medicine or a shot something, she is really sick. They couldn't give me a straight answer but only if she is still feeling like that in 5 days gives us a call!!!! I had to take my daughter to a Real Doctor in which they found she had a throat infeccion and bronquitis, they prescribed her antibiotics and she was cured in 4-5 days. The irony is that they bill us $300 after my insurance for doing nothing!!!! Roanoke CareNow My father had an accident and needed stitches and unfortunately he had a CareNow clinic close to him in Roanoke, TX in which he went. They didn't care his condition of what had happened but the only thing they said is "We can't help you here because we don't take Medicare or any other secondary insurance he might have....try another CareNow maybe they can help you" Incredible!!! We ended up going with my father to the Trophy Club Medical Emergency where they were extremely professional and were worried more about the patient than collecting and charging money Bottom Line: Care Now doesn't want anyone over 62 years old or retired with Medicare or any other secondary insurance. STAY AWAY from all these CareNow, they don't give a crap about you and honestly have poor service and no knowledge of how to diagnose a patient. read more

The wait time is ridiculous. We did online check in at 6:30 PM didn't get a call to come in at 7:45 PM so we headed there knowing they close at 9 PM and my 1.5 year old extremely tired but very sick, we went. We didn't leave until 10:45 PM for a flu test, flu results, and a tamiflu prescription. That is 3 hours waiting in a small, hot room. We talked with the doctor maybe 5 minutes max in that time frame. There was practically no one else in the office. I was so confused why they couldn't knock things out fast - flu test, give results as well as prescription and get us out. It will help them leave on time and help them get to their last couple of patients faster. Would not recommend and not return. read more
