Came in for a scheduled asymptomatic COVID test. Reception was a b****. No organization to patients arriving. Sat here with eight other people... this woman needs assistance. How is there only one person working the front area? Corey is clearly stressed and that is where the rudeness comes in. All she is able to do is point to people and then ask them to sit down. Doesn't check to see if they have appointments, what time they had their appointments scheduled for, etc. The online booking was super easy, but there is no point in arriving on time or early. Basically just sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half watching people who came in after me come and go. I am going to need a covid test after this covid test for the amount of time I just sat there... I would have been better off just waiting the ten days at home with no extra exposure. read more

Waited over an hour despite there being no line. Doctor never introduced himself, simply walked in, looked at my infection, wrote me a prescription and I was off. Went to my primary doctor the next day to get a second opinion, which I'm very glad I did. The "urgent" should be removed from their name as it does not apply to their service. I had Covid symptoms Just before the holidays. it was near impossible to get a test. I went to Carewell Urgent Care and was first in line at 8 in the morning. At 8a.m. they put a note in the window with a QR code. I entered all info and waited in my car thinking I would be first. they sent out one text saying about an hour later saying they hadn't forgotten me. They were taking care of emergencies. I was parked right in front of the door and I didn't see that many people go in. At 11 a.m. I went in to check and they said I was 3rd on list. At 12:30 they texted me to come in, placed in a room where I waited another 20 minutes for them to come in to test me. So 5.5 hours to get a swab stuck up my nose. Today, one month later, I got a bill in the mail for $510. The only reason they got one star is you had to check one. read more

I went to get a Covid test at 9:00AM. I signed up then I was told to go home and that they would call me back when it was my turn to be seen. I was feeling sick as could be, it wasn't easy for me to drive there in the first place. I did what I was told. I waited until 5pm and called to see when my place was to be seen. A rather unfriendly person told me that they didn't know and that they would call me when it was my turn. They never called. Not only do I find this very unprofessional but it's also dangerous to do to people. I would have gone somewhere else if they had told me they couldn't see me. To not call or email was not okay. Well, I should have read the reviews more carefully. I checked in at 1pm for a test today. Completed the very "convenient" online patient paperwork via a QR code posted in the window. Upon completion of the paperwork you receive a notification page telling you to check in with the front counter to let them know you're there. As I approached the door and read the signage for a second time I noticed a posting saying this step wasn't necessary and that I should just wait in my car for a call. Ok, sounds good, I happily comply. 2 hours goes by and I decide it might be worth checking in, so I chat to the lady at the front desk. She struggles to find my appointment but hesitantly confirms she's found me in their system and that it's going to be another 2 hours at the minimum. "You don't have to stay here though, as long as you're within 30 minutes travel you'll be fine. We'll give you a call, we're open till 8pm". This was around 3pm. Well, I'm glad I went home to get stuff done at the house because it's now 8:15pm and not a peep from this clinic. I would not recommend their services, it seems like they're somewhat overworked and the front of house staff have no interest in helping add to that workload by correcting their mistakes. On Saturday 12/19/20 I woke up with a fever and was certain I had Covid. I drove to CareWell in Framingham for a rapid test. The process was simple. Sign up with a QR code and you will be called back when to go into the lobby. The reception people in the office were very courteous and said to stay nearby because I have to check in within 20 minutes of getting a call. I sat in the parking lot for 7 hours waiting to be seen. There is no website or phone number to check in with so I could only sit and wait. The receptionist told me they realize the system is bad, but the CareWell company does not care. After 7 hours, the kind and competent nurse practitioner gave me the nasal swab and confirmed I had Covid. I mentioned to him my dissatisfaction with waiting 7 hours and he expressed extreme dismay. The office is working under highly stresssful COVID conditions and they have sick patients coming in angry about the poor CareWell support. Corporate CareWell gets my 1 star review. I went here for the first time because there was ear wax impacted in my ear and the nurse Casey was amazing. They were able to fully remove all the wax from my ears in less than half an hour and I was able to go on my vacation later that day and fully enjoy it. This must have been one of the worse experiences I've ever had in a medical setting, all because of ONE staff member. I went in this evening for a covid-19 test; I understand that we are currently in the mist of a pandemic and medical workers are over worked and undervalued, BUT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCED SHOULD A HEALTH CARE WORKER EVER BE CAUGHT USING FOUL LANGUAGE, LET ALONE ABOUT A PATIENT. I asked if my spouse can replace our infant son's appointment, because unbeknown to me, infants cannot be tested for COVID. When the front desk staff asked the staff in the nurses station if that was possible, a women, in lovely purple hair, responded by screaming "who the f*** does she think this place is" followed by other explicit language. I was only an earshot away and heard her clear as day. I was offended not only because my infant son was there with me, but because a health care worker, who's job it is to make sure our community is safe, responded with such revolting language. If you actually need help just go to the ER. I came in with a sinus infection. The nurse who took care of me was short and rude. The nurse practitioner did a throat test for strep which was negative and sent me away and told me to take Claritin and gargle salt water.... they were not listening to me AT ALL. Several days later I went to the ER and I was immediately diagnosed with a sinus infection, given antibiotics, and now I'm finally getting some relief!! read more

They were very nice on the phone but, when I got there, after giving my insurance card and them excepting it, they asked for a credit card to keep on file. What kind of a scam is this? I have been to this urgent care three time in the last three to four years. It had great experience the first time and things has gone down hill since. The last time I was there for a quick strep a test. I made reservation and actually gone in 10 min early. The place was empty, and you would think, great, this will be quick. They checked me in quickly and took me into one of the rooms in the back. This was where the wait started. I sat there for 40 min and no one came in, I finally got tried of it and open the dooor and tried to look for someone. I was able to get the attention of a medical assistant in the hall way, and I told him I have been waiting for a while. The guy just looked at me with a look on his face, and tell me (not kidding) "chill down, we are busy " to remind you, the waiting room was empty! Finally he came in, and I told him I just need a quick test. The assistant went out and I overheard him asking the NP, (again, not joking) " what is strep throat? How is it transmit? What do I need to do?" Similar thing has happpened to my wife, she went in for a quick Strep A test at a different time, and the tech didn't took sample from the correct spot. The result and cultures were negative. There were already white spots on her throat and she ended up going to her PCP to get tested. I m not sure where this urgent care get their medical tech or nurse assistants from. But I m not going there again for any care. read more

The only reason this place is getting two stars from us is the front desk MRI tech named Daniel. We brought our kids to be tested after flying in from Out of state, we did not anticipate such treatment. The guy wearing glasses and the tattoos on arms was ABSOLUTELY RUDE! I couldn't believe how rude he was to me and husband who really tried to keep calm and to take into consideration the fact these people are working hard during pandemic, however; this guy was just PUSHING it...he was so mannerless and then we hear him complain to another patient that he has been working for 7 days straight, no wonder he was cranky. But then again, was it because he was rude by nature, or cranky, or worse racist??? I wonder. In any event, AVOID THIS PLACE as you'd avoid the virus. The cherry on top was the technician that took the swabs!!!! He was not wearing gloves and his mask was sitting in a very strange way on his face, meaning it wasn't covering mouth and nose area properly. WHAT A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Absolutely a disgrace. A week ago, I went in to get a test due to possible exposure to COVID and I was told I wouldn't be seen but a nurse there said if I have not been in direct contact, I could be in and out (he encouraged me to not say I was a possible exposure so all that was needed was a rapid test). He told me to check no on all the boxes on the questionnaire and I would be all set. Took maybe 5 minutes. Today however, I'm sick as a dog, checked in at 1pm, was told to go home, and I would get a call. I was NEVER ONCE CALLED despite the fact I'm symptomatic for COVID. I went to this Urgent Care last night for an ear issue. There was no wait and the lobby was very clean. My paperwork was very fast and done on an iPad. I was seen by a nurse and a nurse practitioner who were very friendly and helpful. The nurse practitioner was able to solve my problem quickly and I was given a goody bag of body lotion, hand sanitizer, a magnet, and lip balm when I left. I definitely recommend this Urgent Care Facility. read more

My second visit with my teenager. First visit was quick and painless and that's why I just went back. Never again. Customer service was terrible. We were told test results would be back at a certain time, called for results and was told a different story. Talked to a different person each day I called to get results and the information kept changing. Finally when they did call with the results, the person was rude and not forthcoming with any information - it was hard to believe they knew what they were doing. The staff does not exude trust. After signing in and getting back to the room with the doctor was supposed to see us we waited for over an hour and no one came into the room to see my son. This review is for my most recent visit. I went for a different issue about a year ago and didn't have as positive an experience, but I want to rate them on their current status. I went in for what I believed was a UTI. I've had them before. They saw me very quickly even though it was a holiday, and they tested my urine and confirmed the infection in under 30 minutes. They were polite and thorough throughout the process. When they called in my antibiotics, I then found out my normal pharmacy was closed that day! No problem, I called CareWell and they immediately switched it to a different pharmacy. Not only was this process easy, but I also received a follow up call 3 days later to let me know that the more rigorous culture done in the lab did not show any abnormal growth (because sometimes you have to switch antibiotics if you have a bacteria that is resistant to the first drug). I couldn't ask for anything better from a walk-in clinic. read more

I've been a frequent patient here due to the nature of my job and having a large family . I was in the other month with my daughter for a rapid after she and I went on a short trip and I wanted to say that the massive improvement in the facility since my last visit in January is very impressive. I don't know what has changed but the facility seems to be way more organized and cleaner and the staff seems much happier and less on edge and much more helpful . For example when we asked if the dark purple haired girl was there (because she's exceptionally patient with our daughter who has severe anxiety ) instead of the previous answer of shrugged shoulders and blank stares we were actually told that she was not in and when her next day on was in case we wanted to wait which was such a nice thing to have offered . I didn't catch the name of the front desk girl who helped us with that but she was a small girl with dark hair . This staff of healthcare workers has always done their best during the pandemic but I wanted to pass on how much of a difference I've seen cause it's exceptional!! read more

I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. They were so rude and unprofessional that we had to abruptly leave. I was literally shaking in the car and my son was balling his eyes out. Matt (who I guess is a doctor but he never even introduced himself or told me his name) forced us into an exam room and said we need all sorts of tests...that was not why I was there, I was there simply to get a Covid test. He then proceeded to speak to me about 1 ft away and said that I should get my son examed and have a strep test and I said why and he yelled "BECAUSE YOU ARE HIS MOTHER"! I told him I would go to our own dr to get an exam. Do they not realize that this is a very stressful time and that being in an urgent care facility is not exactly where you feel the safest. We also waited for almost 3 hours in the car with no updates. They said they cannot give you a sense of when you will be called in. They charged my insurance company AND my credit card when I was told it was "only to be on file, it will not be charged". Daniel and the other receptionist were not helpful either...there was just mass confusion. I will say the nurse Margaret was an angel. Not sure why she is sticking around with this group. Had a raging sinus infection and returned to Carewell on Route 9 East. (Have had two other really good experiences there.) It is clean and the front desk staff is kind--but after waiting (in an empty waiting area) for ten minutes and having my vitals taken right away (and assured the doc would be in momentarily), I was left in the exam room for nearly an hour and a half (even after poking my head out and "disturbing" the nurse's dinner at the desk). I finally left, and in passing the doctor on duty, told her I needed to get home to relieve the babysitter. "Too bad," She said, without even looking up from the computer. I was pretty horrified by the unprofessionalism and lack of care--I know "urgent" care doesn't mean immediate, but 90 minutes waiting in the exam room and rude behavior isn't acceptable in my book. read more

This was my first ever visit to an urgent care facility, it was definitely a positive experience. It was a busy Saturday morning however the staff was excellent and I was seen within 15 minutes. My entire visit took just about an hour including exam and blood work, my prescription was called into my favorite pharmacy and was ready ASAP! read more
