I always reference if I would send my mom to a dealership or repair shop as my level of expectations. This time, I actually *did* send my mom here to buy her new car. She walked out incredibly happy, Brian and Charles were amazing. This dealership isn't a churn shop; each car they purchase goes through a full inspection and basic repairs, and they don't sell it if it isn't up to spec. This is better than some brand name dealerships that we went to immediately prior to this. I have a few more used car purchases in the next couple years. You can be damned sure this is my first stop.

You would think a company that claims to inspect the vehicles well before they are ready to sell would have caught this. It makes you wonder. She is now having trouble getting some one to fix it as they have made the sale and received their commission. What happens when the seat does this and it causes her to wreck? This should not have passed inspection. I see what she is going through and it's like pulling teeth to get someone to fix this. I like that they have all the different brands on lot, that can have vehicles shipped in nationwide for minimum fees. I do not necessarily like that the prices are firm with no negotiation or haggling. This goes for the appraisal too, they come back with one price and that's it. It's probably personal preference but I prefer a little wiggle room vs none. The inside of the building is unchanged from last visit except there are no cubicles only lots of desks. The entire floor showroom is just desks many more than employees it is not a great look. The use to have actual cars in the showroom, this is what looks better IMO. I don't think I will use Car Max in the future, there are better deals at dealers or any other named online Car seller site.

After the credit check, the price went up $1995. For a "MVP NAS Theft Protection" which I already pay insurance for. I asked them to take off this MVP protection package the was unneeded, and unwanted. I was told that every new car has to have it through them which was not expressed when going over price of the car before the credit check. Holly is now telling me that it's a required "dealer fee" another lie. This is not a dealer fee it's an optional insurance package for theft and glass protection which again is already covered by insurance. The dealer is very untrustworthy. Don't take them for their word even if they are a "manager". If you do decide to use them get everything in writing before they run your credit and good luck as you were warned.
