Waited 15 minutes to get car washed. Attendant final appeared and said "what do you need" paid 30 bucks for this...not anymore no thanks

My brand new truck with very expensive ceramic coating to protect the truck has severe damage that was caused by this car wash. I reached out multiple times and all Cargill has done is play games. I highly recommend no one using the car wash unless you want your vehicle damaged instead of washed. read more

If there were an option for zero stars I would certainly use it. If you are a female over seventy beware! My Subaru dealership verified that my differential fluids had not been changed, but this business charged me $79.95 each plus tax for front and back differential Service. SHAME! I visited Cargill Quick Lube today for my regular oil change. The assistant manager, John, was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. When I mentioned a problem with mice getting into my car, he checked both the filter under the hood and the filter behind the glove box, which took a little time to get at due to it's positioning. Both filters showed evidence of mice nesting, and he was very good at telling me up front that there was no charge for checking and also informing me of the cost of new filters. I've been using Cargill Quick Lube for a quick lube for about five years now. Never had a problem or a "short fill" or anything like that. The people there know their stuff and when a new kid shows up its clear he's learning how to keep cars going. I've had a battery and wipers replaced on one of our cars, too, and that was handled quickly and efficiently too. The car wash is...meh, an automatic car wash. Nothing special but not that expensive for what you get. The real stars are doing the car maintenance. read more

Don't go there... The brush car wash put a bunch of scratches on my car hood. A quick polishing would fix what they did, but "management" refused to do this simple fix. Would have taken 10 minutes. I had been warned not to go there but went anyway...big mistake. Don't go there.... read more

Quick, easy, and efficient...this is about as good as it gets for an oil change. The facility is easy to get to and it is well kept. The staff are courteous and professional. I have been here twice now and both times have been just as pleased. Costs me around $30+ for oil change. Along with the oil change, you also get your fluids topped off, they check your tire pressure, etc. Even on a busy day, you are in and out with no hassles. They also have a car wash on site, so if you want, you can pay for that along with the oil change, etc. read more

I have been going to this quick lube for about 5 yrs now , time for a change I recently had brought in my grand Cherokee for an oil change , the following day I noticed a good sized oil stain on my driveway I looked under the jeep and seen oil was everywhere , I brought it back to the quick lube and they said it was my transfer case was leaking , I took the jeep home put it up on my ramps and found a loose oil filter was causing the leak , I wiped it all down cleaned it up tightened the oil filter and it been 2 weeks now with no leaks , I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy , time to find a new honest garage read more

While the overall experience at this shop was ok, I've had some SERIOUS problems with them after the fact. As soon as I drove off their lot and turned onto the highway I noticed my transmission was shifting with a fair amount of difficulty. Something just seemed 'off' to me. Driving to work the next day wasn't much better. I noticed the transmission would have a VERY hard time going from 1st gear to 2nd...especially when I was cornering. I called another auto service place (Sam Wibberly's in Dayville, CT) on my way home from work and set up an appointment for the next day at 8:00AM. The problem was diagnosed as the transmission fluid was drained from my vehicle. According to the 2nd auto service shop there was indication on the drain plug of recent removal. So to summarize: Before I had my oil changed my car was running fine. There were no transmission problems at all. Immediately after the oil change I experienced problems with the transmission. After spending $250 at the second repair shop the transmission problems were miracuously resolved. So it doesn't really take a brain surgeon to figure out where the transmission fluid was drained, or so it would seem I stopped into Cargill Quick Lube the same day my car was fixed at Wibberly's. The manager wasn't in so the 2 auto techs I spoke with told me they'd give the manager the details and that he would call me back. He actually called back within a couple hours but that was the last bit of satisfaction I was to receive in this affair. He told me his techs said they showed me a sample of the transmission fluid from my car but that I declined to have that service provided by them. He went on to say that he wasn't authorized to approve an outside invoice in the amount of $250 and that he'd have to talk to his superior (presumably at the Cargil Auto Dealership) and he'd get back to me. I never heard another word from him until I called him this morning. He basically reiterated his position that I was offered transmission service and declined it...which is absolutely wrong and bordering on untruthful. I have my receipt from this transaction that states they checked my transmission fluid and it was OK. There are other services listed on the reciept that indicate that I, in fact, declined them. So I have to wonder why the transmission fluid service wasn't marked as 'Declined' as well. The long and short of it all is that I completely understand mistakes happen. But when faced with resolving a mistake that it's important to 'man up' and take responsibility. So now it's off to small claims court for me. I hope everyone that reads this review carefully considers whether or not this is the type of establishment with which you'd like to do business. I know that I will NEVER go there to have any type of work performed on my car. read more

I have used the convenience of this quick lube for my work vehicle for years. I will not return after today's experience. Very poor customer service with one worker in particular. All it takes is one experience and coupled with your recent increase in pricing Cargill, this no longer is any value for my money. read more

Family forked out $264.81 for "Gold Star" pkg as a gift for my wife. After getting home we found the residue from bumper stickers that we were told "could not be removed" came off with a light fingernail scratch! When we called them (hoping for a simple offer to remove it), Trevor immediately became defensive and rude and refused to be held accountable. SO NOT WORTH THE MONEY for that kind of customer service!!! read more

Quick, honesty, and fair priced. I recommend this to anyone who needs something done there vehicles. Oil change, simple. Rotate your tires, easy. They check to see if they are needed first and they let you know if it's needed or not. Going through the car wash it's self is fun. I will be coming back. Excellent fast oil change. Pleasant staff. Seem knowledgeable. Sit in car and they do their thing under the car. Very fast. Prices what you would or should expect. Car wash does a good job. There is a sign up that this car wash will not clean caterpillar droppings. Just left, it also does not remove light dirt, I can still write "wash me" on any of my vehicles surfaces. A complete waste of $9. read more

Service is usually OK... IF they happen to be open. Don't ever make the trip up there without calling first - their posted business hours are a complete fantasy, especially for weekend hours. For reliability, these guys make Walmart look good. During those times I actually found them open, I had one bad experience - one time the guy had me start my car, glanced inside at my dashboard, and yelled "pressure up!" to the other guy under the car - when my pressure gauge was at ZERO. I had to yell at the guy that he was hallucinating as I hurriedly shut the car off. They fiddled around for a few minutes and had me start it up again, and the pressure gauge went to normal. Quick in and out oil change, exactly what I needed. Also, got to sit in the car while they did it. Two thumbs up.

Went there on 11/25/11 and selected a basic oil change. One of the guys was having difficulty with something under the hood. Apparently the dip stick was stuck and it broke (the car is a well maintained '06). They eventually were able to remove the dip stick and replaced the loop with a paper clip.... They told me that it broke and they would fix, but they also put the wrong oil in the car. Employees were friendly, weren't high pressure and took responsibility for the mistakes, but I still have a car with a broken dip stick and the wrong oil. read more

Poor service. They used 5W30 oil instead of the manufacturer recommended 10w30. The transmission fluid was not checked although they indicated that they did on the report. The tire tread depth was not checked and the tires were underinflated to the point that the tire pressure light came on when I left. It was off when I went there. They also did not vacuum the debri off the air vent intake. But they did try to sell me a battery I didn't need. And for all this I paid $94.00. I can't recommend them. read more
