The service was great! Very friendly staff! The food is way overpriced for what you receive. I ordered the oxtails and I barely got 4 or 5. The picture represents oxtails and potatoes and please believe the bigger pieces are some of the potatoes. One of the oxtails was so small it should be in Guinness World records for the smallest oxtails in the world. Also they needed more flavor. The macaroni baked should just be removed from the menu bc carrots and bell peppers should not be in there. Also they say the cook puts a lot of different seasonings in it but I didn't taste one. The cabbage was actually good though so that's why I gave 2 stars instead of one. read more

My boyfriend and I went in to check the place out and the staff were very welcoming and their regular customers were friendly also. The owner was very nice and personable. We had the beef patties, oxtail plates with rice and cabbage and a side of plantains. We also ordered the bread pudding. The oxtails were very good and tender. The brown gravy had great flavor! I tried a piece of the curry goat and it was flavorful and tender too. Overall our experience was great and we will definitely be back! read more

I do not like to give bad reviews but I feel compelled to because the food over priced and was not good at all. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with chicken. It was inedible. It tasted like a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce had been poured onto the chicken and the penne pasta. Imagine eating barbecue sauce pasta with basil chunks. My husband's jerk chicken was the same chicken as my pasta basically just barbecued chicken. There was no jerk flavor whatsoever. Our bill total was $88 which was a total waste of money. This is a new restaurant located in Downtown Acworth. We ate here on day 2 of being open during the Art fest. We were sat promptly and our waiter gave us a pretty drink menu and verbalized the food menu options. We chose the Shrimp Curry, and Jerk Chicken as our entrees. We enjoyed the food and ate it all. There are limited tables for indoor seating but the bar was full, and they have a back deck that's looks nice if it's a pretty day. We didn't get drinks but they did look really good. read more

I stopped in for lunch and was greeted by Susan the owner, she recommended the curry lamb and a house made roti. They also offered some homemade hot sauce! Super flavorful! The service was awesome it felt like she was a Caribbean mother in law and I had a homemade meal. The space is super cut with Caribbean music playing in the background. Love Caribbean food so was excited to finally check this place out on Friday night. First, the music was great and the space is pretty cool. Becca, our server, was Great, doing the best she can with the service. Unfortunately, outside of that, no reason to return. The food is so overpriced it is ridiculous. I know Oxtails, and $34 for 2 oxtails is absurd. Now the brown sauce was really good, but even that was 3 spoons at best. Oxtails are not cooked on the spot, so zero reason it should take an hour to be serviced this plate. Very disappointing. The mac & cheese was dry, the plantains were ok, one plate was cooked long the other too soon. The coconut carrot bread pudding was not good, no flavor at all and had a strange texture, weird, definitely not like bread pudding or carrot cake. Draft was advertised for $5 but we were charged $7. The kitchen service is horribly slow, we sat for an hour before getting the entrees. Keep in mind, maybe 12 tables if that, most 2 seats, and we waited an hour. People around us would get 1 plate at the table, then 20 mins later another. We received the sides than 15 mins later the entrees. Not sure what the heck is the issue, but they need someone experienced in the kitchen. If we're didn't enjoye the music, we would have left at 30 minutes. Not sure how the Curry plates or Stew plates would be, but not wasting time or money to find out. read more

We came here for my birthday during lunch and the food was not very good. We got the jerk tacos and a jerk Patti. The pattie was good but the taco was nothing but water down sauce in it. There was no chicken it was very unappetizing. The server was great he very kind, but the lady who I assume is the owner of the place or the manager not sure was very unwelcoming to us. I believe she was Jamaican and was waiting on hand and foot to those who were also probably from where she was from and just ignored us. She even made a comment to us like "who orders tacos without lettuce." I thought that was rude. Anyways at least we tried this place and can put in our list not to come here again. read more

The food is really good but unfortunately overpriced for the portions you get. I had oxtails and I received about 4- 3 very small ones and one big one. The Mac and cheese was delicious but again small portion and it wasn't a pie portion as advertised. Oxtails are expensive- i get it, but these aren't $40 plates and with only one side/ it just wasn't worth it. We also had the fried snapper- it was awesome as well. Again small portions. Great quality food but expensive. I can normally split my meals into two meals because I'm a lighter eater. I was still hungry after I finished ! read more

I very seldom leave a review or mention of a Restaurant in the Marietta area. Most of the time the food is ok, not bad but nothing to write home about or recommend to friends or family. Tonight was a totally different story. I had the best Caribbean Food at Caribbean Vibes in Acworth Ga. 4843 N Main St. Acworth Ga 30101. I had curry chicken with cabbage, my husband had ox tails with plantains, you will also need the buss up shot for dunking in the sauce. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was fabulous the black cake was equally as good. Great service and the owner was a joy to speak with. Waited over 1 hour 15 mins for dinner. Bar tender was great and lovely on service. The experience was rather nice for a date night until the owner did not like our feedback on wait. We stayed another 10 mins as they expedited order (note the cook had yet to begin cooking). Food was ok while a little under cooked, small portions. Our party left (tipped bar tender) after the owner became very confrontational; even grabbed my plate and stated I was not welcome. I love oxtail and have ordered oxtail in every Caribbean restaurants I have been to. However, the oxtail dish served in this restaurant was very disappointing even though it was the most expensive oxtail I have ordered so far ($35). After more than an hour wait, I received some rice, a few pieces of plantain and 4 small tip bones that barely had any meat on them. This was so absurd that I thought it might be a mistake so I raised my concern to our waiter. Soon afterwards, the owner came out of the kitchen and started harassing me for questioning her meal and insulted me in front of other guests. This was so ridiculous. All the food was 10/10. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip with the naan. Omg. The bread was so soft and the dip was the best of this classic that I've ever had. I definitely recommend the jerk chicken and Mac and cheese. Everything we had was delicious from the drinks to the food. This is one of the best restaurant meals I've had in the decade since my family moved to the area. The waitstaff were super knowledgeable about the menu, and we had a great conversation with the owner. We ordered the jerk chicken, chicken curry, and oxtail along with many sides. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back and try the parts of the menu we didn't order. There are specials on weekends that I have to go back for!! The food was fresh, and the Caribbean dishes are rare for an area like Acworth. We need more international cuisine on this side of Atlanta. I hope they stay! read more

We stopped here on our drive up to northern Georgia and we had an amazing experience. Food and drinks were great- so much flavor!! Highly recommend the blueberry basil coconut spritz (not too sweet and the fresh basil from their garden was such a nice touch). The owner and her son were so warm and welcoming.
