Come on Caribou, you really can do better. Two stars given because the two coffees and bagels ordered were good...it's just such a shame we had to wait 13.89 minutes (yes, I timed it) for our order to be ready. Why is this location always so slow? We are not "regulars" yet we do treat ourselves here once and a while. Every time.....and I mean every time we come it is so slow. Today we walked in and though we were greeted really quick, that was it. It seemed well staffed (though I did see an employee leave - no issues there). This place needs to become a diner and have table service because six people standing and waiting for their order is nuts. Two more things. One, to the employees who serve the indoor order pickup area, speak up! Whispering (basically yes) what order is ready only has those six customer all "attacking" the counter to then either ask or root through bags to see whose is whose. Second, when can we get back to bagels being served with cream cheese ON them? Now every bagel comes with a small plastic container and let's face it, there is never enough provided. Maybe it saves a few $0.01 on the cream cheese cost but in this day and age of reducing waste????? And the picture I attached is actually how much we were given. For shame to the employee who thought they "did their job". We will think twice (and free up an entire morning) if we decide to go back. read more

Savage Starbucks is closed for a couple days so I had to go to Caribou...my reward was two half filled drinks...credit card charged twice with some sort of weird wand device they shove into your car window to get your card...then they give you all these trays and crap...that's not making anyone safer but making this experience awful... This is the WORST caribou in all of Shakopee and Savage. You can wait over 30 minutes for your order, the drive through is ridiculous for wait times but the inside isn't any better. So much for being a 'fast' option. I avoid this store like the plague but had to go here over the weekend and ordered a drink with light ice - this is what I got. FULL of ice from the bottom of the cup to the lid and of course after waiting for 15 minutes in the drive through with only one car in front of me I had to just go. I have never been to a location with such poor management, I don't even understand how they stay open. read more

I love Caribou. It's my weekend treat. So i decided to meet a guest here. (This store has moved into the Marcus Theatre lot.) The floor plan is difficult when they're busy. And I was shocked at the poor service. My drink was ok, but my guest specifically ordered a special drink and the barista confirmed the order and then made something different. Visiting Minneapolis and heard good things about Caribou coffee. This location needs some managerial assistance. As noted in other reviews they are slow. Saturday am and only five customers in the store and waited a while until someone asked if I had been helped. Then I asked for a cup of medium roast coffee. Just a simple cup of hot m black coffee. No whipped cream, vanilla, or other stuff. I was told they had light roast or dark roast. Ok. This is not a diner or a gas station this is a coffee service center. My frustration must have been obvious because he gave me the cup of light roast coffee on the house It was rather good if your into light roast coffee. read more

If you want a coffee and snack before watching a movie at the theater nearby this is the place to go. They even have a signature sandwich called the supernova, which is loaded with flavor! They also know how to make a chai tea latte. read more

This location was always my stop before heading into work in the morning and coming home in the afternoon. For about six months I visited this location and would give them my Perks number (often times they wouldn't even ask and I had to bring it up myself). I was confused why I hadn't received many rewards for my frequent purchases. I got to know that on multiple occasions they weren't actually taking my number. I talked to the employee working and the manager on shift, however they did not handle this well. Service is rude and they don't follow the rules. When caught in the act, they asked me to take it up with the business. Spent my money unnecessarily at this location. I recommend the Burnsville location. read more

Every time i come to this location, i wait at least 20 minutes in the drive thru line. today, i waited 20 minutes in line and once i got to the speaker, they said they only had soy and almond milk. how can you run a coffee shop without regular milk!!!! also, they charged me extra for the almond milk even though that was my only choice! i also ordered a mint condition cooler with whip cream. i received it after 40 minutes of waiting and neither drink had whip cream. my cooler tasted nothing like a mint condition cooler. it was disgusting! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS LOCATION. THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. one more thing, the older male that works at this location is a total a**hole! Sometimes they're slow. I've only had one bad experience. I am one so I was offended(I don't think she works there anymore, and she apologized after). But besides this, their always very friendly, and I don't mind the wait because it's always quality product. I would also avoid going early in the morning because there is a major highway right next to it and EVRYBODY and their momma stops to get bagels and coffee. So the wait is long and people complain about it but let's be realistic here, making stuff like that isn't magic read more

AVOID if you need coffee and in a rush. Each time I've gone to this location it takes 10-15 min for someone to take your order at the drive-thru then another 10-15 min to get your drink. The only reason I go to this location is because it is close to home, but now I'll be going to other caribous near me with faster service. read more
