The tapioca pearls are always fresh and delicious (unlike other places I've tried in Bismarck where they are stale and bland), the drinks are consistently yummy, and the service is always friendly. That was nice. Bonus points for the specific snack I like - Moon Cheese. The shop is clean and the condiments area was well cared for. As much as I prefer to avoid Starbucks, this *is* Bismarck ND. No complaints about the ambiance, service, or beverage. Run of the mill Starbucks, I'm sure some people have a fabulous experience while others do not. Luckily for me, things went smoothly and I was in and out relatively quickly and back on the road in no time. Appreciate the fact there's a drive thru even though I went inside to order.

Owen took our order- perfectly professional, welcoming, competent. My son's order is unique (double…read moreburger with only ketchup, no cheese)- when the order was taken apparently "no cheese" was omitted. The burger came w/cheese & missing fries. My son asked for it to be remade & Manager Velma, visibly put out, argued with us that we never asked for no cheese & that it was going to take 15min to remake the burger & fries- all done in a confrontational manner. She then turned to Owen & yelled at him in front of the entire store, "if you can't do it right then have X do it next time since whenever you do it sh-t like this always happens." I have never felt so uncomfortable as a customer before. Her behavior & attitude say more about her as a manager than it does about Owen as an employee (who must be a saint to put up with that treatment). There is absolutely no excuse to humiliate & berate an employee in that manner, especially in front of customers & other employees. She needs to be taught the management principle of "correct in private, praise in public." I truly hope she receives training so her employees can perform their duties without fear of receiving such treatment over a very simple mistake. Also, if her employees are constantly making mistakes that also says more about her than them & they deserve a better training experience. Also, no bathrooms.
