This place may vary based on the day you come in. They have a parking lot area in he front and share a strip with several other restaurants and businesses. I have been here a few times. The staff are laid back. You may get a thank you or you may not. You may get your receipt you may not. There may be no clean tables or it's decent inside. The drinks cost a bit more then Starbucks or they could of over charged me. A iced vanilla small latte with almond milk is $5.50. Apparently they have a rewards program I discovered based on a door advertisement. Staff never mentioned it despite my many appearances. The wait varies based on the time of day you come. Nothing special and just down the street you find Starbucks. read more

I don't know about Covid, but come to think of it, every time I've been to this establishment, the staff/workers are rude, standoff-ish, and a bit mean. And doesn't seem like customer service, and politeness is on their radar. read more

Have been here several times. This is a hidden gem. It's not like a standout store that you notice right away in fact it's right next to a UPS store. The atmosphere is like you walking into a ski lodge with a fireplace and all that wood. Perfect during the holidays. There are many tables and chairs with free wifi. Great place for a meeting for it is very quiet. Like their selection of sandwiches and sweets here. This Caribou Coffee is pretty cozy compared to others. It's nestled in the same building as the UPS Store, so make sure you take the left turn when you walk in the main door, otherwise you'll be shipped off somewhere. Unlike the Caribou on East Blvd, this one's relatively quiet, allowing for a more intimate environment. In fact, my partner and I we had our first "date" here. It provided the right level of coziness for "get-to-know-you" conversation, yet it was casual enough so neither of us would feel awkward. Caribou's coffee is less bitter than Starbucks and they offer some interesting coffee combinations like the Lite White Berry, made with sugar-free raspberry syrup and white chocolate syrup. YUM. Unfortunately, it's not really that "lite" as the name might suggest. For under 100 calories, I go for the Northern Lite Raspberry Latte. Not chocolatey, but still fruity sweet. During the fall, their pumpkin drinks rock. There's so much more pumpkin flavor in their hot and cold drinks than other coffee places. And during the holidays, the Ho Ho Mint Mocha is not only fun to say, "it's so tasty, too! Tastes just like candy," as Lucy Ricardo would say. read more

I have a new hangout when I feel the need to get out of the house and away from the office. This Caribou is in a small shopping plaza that most people probably breeze right past, so the traffic is a little light. The coffee is excellent, much better than the *$ folks. It's a very small location and I've found power outlets in the back near the bathrooms. Wifi works great, coffee is great, tables are comfortable. About the only thing I would add would be a wider selection of pastries, but I'm just nitpicking at that point. read more

Consistently delicious! Nothing is left out! Helpful staff and makes drinks quickly with little wait time. Pretty location with wooden beams and better music than some coffee spots. I would come and sit sometime to enjoy the atmosphere. They have a loyalty card program that doesn't require you to load money on to make purchases for points. The menu may be off but seems you can order any drink and add any flavor desired although the choices seem to be basic of vanilla, chocolate, white chocolate, etc. You can do turtle, brownie, etc. I love the raspberry bubble tea and turtle mocha the most. The employees are usually in cheery moods which is refreshing. David the barista makes great drinks and knowledgeable about the products. Suggestion: There is a UPS store sharing the entrance - write a letter while here and mail it next door. Charlotte, charlotte, charlotte. Got to know her to understand her, but needless to say this suburb gone to banks has coffee shops which have tides. This location of Caribou Coffee is located just out of the Southpark glamour and back towards natives territory (Carmel and Fairview -esque). If it's busy you can't find a seat, but when it's slow, you may have the place to yourself. Right next to Charlotte Country Day School in the Foxcroft Neighborhood. read more

This is one our favorite evening hang out spots. The staff is so friendly. We're always welcomed with big smiles and engaging conversation. We also love the atmosphere. Different kind of seating depending on the mood of the evening... Tables, sofa, comfy chairs, stools. For all types! They've single-handed changed my coffee shop preference... Agree with Eric K. This location is smaller, but cozier. I've never been in this location when there's a big crowd so I'm used to coming in ordering and having my caffeine fix given to me immediately. The staff is friendly and there is a good amount of art displayed on the walls (I think it's one of the staff's friends that is a photographer), but the photos are always great to look at and are good conversation starters. read more

I LOVE this location! It's so cozy and the staff is always so accommodating. I just tried out the caramel bubble coffee today, it is heavenly! I'm a huge fan of boba tea and the drink provides the fun chewy texture without breaking your jaw! Everything else I've had here is also fantastic! read more

Just got an iced almond milk latte. Watched them pour iced coffee and then milk not steaming it or anything in particular. The drink was also very watery from the start before any ice melting, I got zero taste of the roasted coffee taste we all know and love, not sure how. Disappointing that the only other option in the area is Starbucks, but I guess that's better than this. Won't return. read more

I've always been greeted by friendly staff, never had more than two or three people in front of me in line, and my drink has always been delicious and correct. If that's not a good coffee plan, then I don't know what is. I also love their 10 cent off trivia questions they have daily, it's a nice little idea that gets your brand juices flowing. While the raspberry campfire mocha is delicious, I think my all time Caribou favorite is their white chocolate crafted pressed (their version of cold brew). Do yourself a favor and give it a try. read more

On my second visit here, I had a very unpleasant experience. I normally don't post negative yelp reviews, but in this case, I wanted to give some feedback. The service was horrible and the girl taking my order was fake nice, all the while sending me hateful vibes. (You know the feeling) The oreo cheesecake I ordered was gross, soggy and had no taste. To make matters worse, after my friend and I sat outside to relax- my friend noticed the service staff girls kept staring at us and laughing. Now, my friend had brain cancer when she was a teenager and wears a wig. I have been her friend for years and when we go out and about she has NEVER commented to me about people gesturing and laughing at her. But after the fake nice, bad attitude service, I was not at all surprised by their immature behavior. I will never, ever go there again. read more

I called in to ask if they could do a phone order-the lady who picked up respectfully said they do not. Then, as I was thanking her and hanging up the lady became very rude and told me to not call again asking about whether I can do an online order (this was the first time I had called). The Lady proceeded to scrutinize me in an aggravated voice, all stemming from one simple question. I am a long time customer no more. See you at Starbucks! read more

This Caribou Coffee location was quite lovely. It had that warm, cozy cabin feel that all Caribou Coffee's offer. It is in a smaller shopping center and attached to a UPS store, which was a bit peculiar, but didn't take away from the ambiance. The cafe and seating area was a bit more cramped than some other locations, but there were plenty of people visiting, working and sipping on some delicious beverages. I always tend to order something a little more complicated at Caribou Coffee. Today I ordered the Campfire Mocha with dark chocolate, soy milk and three shots of espresso. I got it with half of the allotted chocolate and half of the syrup; I'm not a fan of sickeningly sweet coffee drinks. It had the perfect balance of marshmallowy goodness and that semi sweet chocolate flavor and the 3 shots made it just perfect. Thanks to the barista on bar for being a rockstar! The three ladies working were all very polite, and gave me a chance to decide on my complex drink. The retail options for sale are so cute! I would have been happy with any of their mugs, sleeves, or ornaments. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely stop by again. read more

This is my favorite Charlotte coffee shop, for sure! The shop has a log cabin feel with a warm and inviting color palette. As a Minnesotan, it's extra familiar. The staff is friendly and there isn't a lot of turn over. They certainly stay busy, as there are always customers! Caribou Coffee offers a delicious selection of pastries, sandwiches, and gourmet drinks. At this location, if your barista happens to make a mistake, they will remake your drink ...no protests or arguments, they just do it. Visit and don't forget to tip your barista! read more

I absolutely love Caribou Coffee especially this location because it's located in the beautiful South Park/ Fox Croft area! The baristas here are super friendly and if your looking for a nice place to study or get work done on your laptop this location is not too noisy it has a beautiful cozy cabin feel to it! read more

I am here right now with my boyfriend and we are both studying for exams. They are blasting Halloween music extremely loud it's hard to hear myself think. I used to be able to come here for a quiet place but this is the complete opposite. A coffee shop should not be playing music where it takes away the peaceful environment you expect. Very disappointed. read more

Cute place. Coffee was good, although mocha too sweet and that's even after asking for less. Two very odd things. The mission statement reflects outdoors and fresh. The food is total processed. No real good options - took the easy way out and mimicked starbucks food. Bacon on breakfast sandwich was totally raw. I asked if that's typical. They said I should expect crisp. Of course I don't expect crisp when you nuke a sandwich. But I still expected cook. Raw chewy bacon fat doesn't work on a sandwich. Wife says Starbucks not far away and blows this away. read more

I would have never guessed this is a chain coffee shop. The interior is so warm and inviting, complete with a fireplace! The comfortable chairs and high tops make this a great location to sit and catch up with a friend or work alone. The staff are genuinely friendly asking "how are you?" and pausing to actually listen to the response. My coffee is always made quickly and comes out perfect. The only complaint that I have with this coffee shop is that none of the food has been worth the purchase. I know that it is fast food quality for any of the breakfast sandwiches but even with that in mind the ones I have tried have been lackluster. read more

I'm not a coffee fan, but always agree to meet with people, who are coffee fans, at coffee shops. At a meeting I had at this Caribou shop, I told the staff behind the counter that I need help finding something, not coffee to enjoy. The staff was great and pointed me to a wonderful "non-coffee" product! I had the Pomegranate Vanilla Latte (hot). It was made quickly, and I thought it was fabulous! Those two flavors belong together and I'm thankful for the help from the staff in finding that treat! Other than that, this is a nice, clean shop, with plenty of seating and a cozy atmosphere. As you walk into this coffee shop you feel as if you are in a cabin in the middle of the mountains. It's a warm and cozy place . As the holiday season is approaching they have their Mint, Moca and Eggnog lates on the menu!!!!! They also have a selection of sparkling teas. This is a great place. Recently moved to the area and was ecstatic there was a Caribou so close. There aren't many around. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is so cozy, as most Caribous are. My drink was made wrong once, and staff was more than happy to remake it and apologize. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Kids welcome. Meeting groups - there's room. Perfect place to cuddle up with a book or do computer work. read more

Ordered a cappuccino which was pretty good. It seems more like a small chain versus an artisan coffee spot. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich which was so tiny and overpriced I could actually eat the entire thing in one bite. Would I return? Probably not however I would choose the Coffee over Starbucks since it is a smaller business. I wouldn't get anything on the food menu again. Service was good. Very friendly staff. read more

However, if you've spent time in authentic French cafés or bistros, you know the real charm is understated elegance--wood, mirrors, tile, and craftsmanship. This felt more theatrical than authentic. Where it fell short for me was the food. For a place calling itself a French bakery and pâtisserie, the absence of classic laminated pastries was surprising. I was expecting staples like Napoleons, kouign-amann, or beautifully executed croissants. What I found instead were pastries that looked average and lacked the refinement and technique you'd expect from a true pâtisserie. On my visits, I tried: * A leek soup that was supposed to be cream-based but tasted thin and under-seasoned--more like warm vegetable water than a properly developed soup. * A baguette sandwich with fig, Brie, and apple that sounded promising but was poorly executed. I commuted to get there, & was annoying finding a spot in the close-quarters lot. Then had to stop busy staff to ask for the bathroom key...esplly awkwd since I had to go more than once. We walked in and no employees to be found. We waited awkwardly for almost 10 minutes while the line built behind us and then watched people give up and leave! Finally someone came out of the back room and seemed to have zero concern. We places our order and the painfully waited for her to make a cappuccino and a latte. I even visited the bathroom and came back out before she was done! How they are making food on top of coffees when the service is that slow is BEYOND ME. The overall area inside was simple and pretty but on the verge of sterile. And then to leave with a very mid tasting latte that had no flavor was the last straw. So many more places around to spend my money at and with better coffee and service.

We had a couple cups of regular coffee (nothing fancy, but 4 star stuff), a scone (nice 3 star scone when not heated up; our first was a sodden mess after heating), and a croissant sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese (4 star tasting sandwich that also might have been a smidge better on firmer bread ... the microwave just melts the whole thing together). We also got three 3-star muffins to go ... and they were excellent even the next day. All in all, this was a 4 star stop for us in the morning. While a single server handled the whole room, she was up to the task. We'll return.
