This Caribou is located near the beginning of Concourse F in Terminal 1, shortly after passing the main terminal mall area. Comfortable seating, but there are only three small tables where one side is along a long booth seat and the opposite side has three small stools that don't have a back rest. The booth seats were a little run down and the leather was starting to crack. I didn't see any outlets available either. There aren't many comfortable places to sit with a table in concourse F though, so if you're able to snag one of the booth seats it's a great spot! The seating area is next to the ordering line but on the opposite side of the register, so it's relatively quiet and has the same noise level as a normal Caribou. Exceptional service. Super friendly, and during my time there I saw the employees helping people who would come by and ask for directions. They have a full drink menu, along with plenty of grab and go meals and snacks and bottled beverages. read more

This was by far the worst customer service I've experienced at a coffee shop. The staff were incredibly rude and unfriendly, and their attitude toward customers was honestly shocking. It made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. The coffee wasn't enough to make up for such a negative experience. They charge for a cup of water by the way. Starbucks consistently delivers a much better customer service experience, and the difference was obvious. If you're at the airport, I'd recommend skipping this place--there are plenty of other options that are much more worth your time. read more

Improbably, this is the best all-around Caribou Coffee location I've been to in a long time. Who would guess that Concourse F in the Minneapolis -St Paul Airport is the spot for great coffee, comfy seating, excellent customer service, and good affordable sandwich choices? My wife and I stopped in here at our arrival and just before departure, two days apart. The first visit left an impression on me because of the helpful, friendly, professional service, and the quick fulfillment of our order - coffee (free birthday drink!) and two food items. Both the iced crafted press and the turkey provolone asiago bagel sandwich hit the spot for me. My wife enjoyed her just egg flatbread. Smiles and politeness from the employees added to the experience. Fast forward two days, and we ordered the same items prior to boarding our flight. Same experience this time as last, and with different employees! As an aside, I held off writing a five star review after the first visit to wait for our second visit. Hot chocolate. Nothing else to say about Caribou. It's the best hot chocolate of any coffee shop, yet. Caribou coffee is pretty standard coffee for a chain with the usual hot and cold drinks and seasonal choices and friendly enough employees, but for me, it's the hot chocolate that stands out. No powdered mixes here. They melt the chocolate (milk, dark, or white as options) with the steamer and then add the milk and heat again. Sometimes, if you're lucky, they'll be some melted chocolate at the bottom of your cup. I miss living near a Caribou, especially when the weather turns cold because of this treat. No matter what the weather, anytime I'm near one it's my go-to drink. My other standard used to be a breve, but they've not been very good over the last couple of years -- in any location . Either the barista doesn't understand what it is, or perhaps the company substitutes a lower quality cream or perhaps a standard milk. I don't know, but it's just doesn't taste the same. This airport location, near the MSP mall and the north security checkpoint is always busy, so plan accordingly. Get the coffee --- the cross fox and mahogany brews are decent and the caffeine content is there -- but if you've not tried the hot chocolate --- do that. read more

I actually really enjoy getting Caribou Coffee when I visit Minnesota. We don't have Caribou in California so I totally take advantage of it when I am traveling to MN. This year, they have their La Minita Peaberry specialty coffee. I couldn't resist and bought a bag and had it grind for my French Press. It was a light roast which has more caffeine actually. It was $20 a bag and totally worth it. The flavor was very smooth and balanced. I am so happy I did't miss this opportunity to bring some Caribou to Ca! I find myself stopping by Caribou Coffee more often than not when traveling through Minneapolis. They don't have as many healthy options as I'd prefer but I sure am glad they're there to keep me caffeinated and fed during layovers where all one really wants is to be caffeinated and fed. Their food options are solid (aside from the lack of healthier options). The coffee tends toward the sweeter side of things but is also decent. The service here has always been good. Visited the location near gate F1. Ordered a coffee and a toasted bagel with cream cheese for breakfast. The coffee was really good, but the bagel... Instead of slicing it open and give it a proper toasting, they just stuck the whole thing into the toaster, packed it up with a plastic knife and a single serving tub of cream cheese and called it a day. But, MSP is a great airport and during one of my latest layovers, I stopped in to Caribou for breakfast and a drink. On a whim, I chose to go with a vanilla matcha iced latte and a chorizo breakfast burrito. The burrito was very good and filling. But that matcha....WOW. So good!!! I had seen so many Caribou Coffees here in MSP that I decided to try one out before my flight . my experience unfortunately, fell short of my expectations. The staff seemed hurried and preoccupied which is not very unusual in an airport but I wasn't able to make up my mind before they started pressurizing me into ordering .I bought a croissant , aparfait and a cappuccino and didn't like anything at all . My disappointment extended to the coffee itself. The beans, while purportedly expertly roasted, did not translate into a satisfying cup. For years, whenever I've landed at Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport (MSP) or am flying back home, I always pass this Caribou Coffee in Linburgh (terminal 1). It's across from security and the escalator down to baggage claim. It also marks the start of concourse E. On Monday, it was my travel day back to Toronto. I got to the airport early and cleared security so quickly that I had a lot of time to spare. I decided to get my final 'bou fix for a bit. It was busy in this cafe. The lineup to order is on the left. You pick up your order on the right. A woman asked me if she was in the correct line to place an order. I pointed her into the right direction and she was thankful. There were a few customers ahead of me in the lineup. It moved fairly quickly. I got a nice woman at the counter. I couldn't hear her at first. Her mask muffled her voice. She said that she needed to change screens to look up my phone number associated with my rewards. She eventually found me in the system. I ordered a medium sparkling cherry limeade. I tend to get a large, but I didn't need my bladder to go into overdrive before boarding or during my flight. It took a bit of time to get my drink, as business was steady. It wasn't a horrible wait. It was perhaps seven minutes at the most. I found a comfy chair and sat down. I shared a tree stump that was a cool end table. There were outlets to power your laptops and such, including USB ports for your portable devices. My cherry limeade hit the spot. I love sparkling drinks. This one was perfect. The cherry and lime flavours were on point. It is likely my favourite tea here. The drinks here have low to no sugar, which make me happy. I killed a good hour sipping my tea and chilling before heading to my gate. It was a nice break. You have free wifi throughout the airport terminal. I uploaded photos to Yelp while enjoying my beverage in my comfy chair. I am currently going through Caribou Coffee withdrawal symptoms. This one is a good cafe. Spotting a Caribou Coffee is only slightly less likely in my daily life than seeing an actual caribou, and I miss it! My Caribou changed to a Peet's where I live. Anyway, how excited was I to find not one but a small herd of Caribou Coffees at Minneapolis and open very early in the morning when I arrived before 6am? The answer: I was very excited. Had actual glee, which is saying something because I was also very tired after two long flights and another flight to go to get back to the east coast. Although there was a line, the three cashier-baristas moved us quickly through the queue and the crafting baristas kept the flow moving right along. There are a few Caribou at MSP. This one is by F gates and they do not take online order. They still take your membership code tho. The line could be long just like any other coffee places at an airport. My order took about 25min from getting in line to receiving the item. Personally, this chain felt like a north-Midwest version of a Dunkin Donut - although I was surprised to see that you could personalize your smoothies with energy shots (so I guess more like Jamba Juice/local smoothies shop?). I gave this caribou a 4 because they have been out of gluten free breakfast sandwiches the last two times I have flown out of MSP. Instead, I got hard boiled eggs, a granola bar, and a sparkling peach black tea with raspberry. The service was quick at 5:15 in the morning even with a line. For a medium tea it was about 6.00 and the hard boiled egg and granola bar were 3-4.00 a piece. read more
