Dishonest and shady office staff has turned this once amazing dentistry office to shambles. When…read morethey stopped accepting my insurance and did not inform me of it was the turning point. First they sent me a bill from an appointment that was 6 months prior for charges that I had no knowledge of - they backtracked and said they don't take my insurance anymore and I needed to pay it. No, that's not how this works! I paid what I was supposed to pay when I was there, they wanted even more after 6 months?!? The way I found out was when my daughter went for her appointment and they told her it would be somewhere around $100 for what we had been paying $0 previously. No notice! I told her to get back in her car and come home, do not go sit in that chair for your cleaning! The office staff had the audacity to tell me they would charge me for a no show if she didn't stay, somewhere around $100. I laughed, and told her that it is on them for not informing us of their change in accepting our insurance and to come find me for that missed appointment charge - please, come find me! That was the end of going there. It's a shame. I liked Dr Adams, he was nice. It's the lack of communication with the patients in which they lack that led me to find another provider. Touché

It turns out, multiple aspects of dental work by Dr Adams was incomplete and done very poorly. After years of an infection that broke into my sinuses, I went to see a specialist who immediately identified the poor work. He also knew exactly who did the work, as he has had to help other former patients of Dr Adams with similar issues. Thousands of dollars, multiple procedures, and multiple health issues later, I am back on track and healthy. As a side warning - over the years, I have posted about this experience on provider review sites. Those reviews, and others I would see about similar botched work by Dr Adams, have since been removed.

I have general anxiety and they were both so lovely and truly care about their patient. And minimal pain yesterday and none today. And I'm beyond grateful they offer such reasonable pricing. After spending nearly 2,000.00 plus travel…read moreexpenses with Williams, Daily & Frazier, I was abandoned mid-treatment with no care plan in place whatsoever. I was told by Dr Frazier that I was in urgent need of a bone graft due to a previous injury to my front tooth which was capped and failing. It was explained to me that my bone was receding and that my extraction and bone/gum graft needed to be done "sooner than later". Over the course of 5 weeks, I twice travelled 3 hours each way incurring travel and hotel expenses and spent nearly 2,000 dollars on temporary inserts and scans deemed necessary by the clinic. On the day of the procedure, I was somewhat nervous (as anyone would be) and it took me some time after receiving Valium and Nitrous Oxide to get comfortable. After 50 minutes, I was told by Dr. Frazier that I was not ready for the procedure. Although I was nervous, I expressed plainly that I was comfortable moving forward. I was then told by Dr. Frazier that I was not "comfortable enough". I am a medical professional myself and any experienced physician or nurse understands the basic principle that comfort level and pain are subjective. Pain and comfort are to be stated and gauged by the patient, NOT the physician. Dr. Frazier then stated that he was not comfortable going forward with the procedure, with no further information given. I then left with no explanation, no subsequent appointment, no RX for antibiotics / infection control (with a current infection in the root and maxilla above my tooth), and no instruction or recommendation for pain control. Dr. Frazier did, however, give me several injections of Novocain, which caused incredible pain after wearing off that I was unable to control for several hours with OTC medication. Unbelievably, I was then allowed to leave the office ALONE after being given 10 mg of Valium and Nitrous Oxide for over 1 hour. This clinic is lucky that I did not have an accident or injury while awaiting my partner in the parking lot / road for ten minutes while sedated. Since last week, I have experienced significant pain, and my infection has continued to cause extreme discomfort. I finally called the office this week after no follow-up and was handed off to an office manager named Tess who again provided no detail or explanation, simply offering to refer me to another clinic (which I can clearly do myself). I must now begin this process from square one with another provider. It is shocking and frankly disturbing that a medical professional and licensed dental clinic would conduct business in this unethical manner. There is clearly a lack of experience, knowledge, and ethics within this practice. I have reported them to the ADA out of serious concern. Patient abandonment is considered a serious violation per the ADA code of nonmaleficence: 2.F. Patient Abandonment. Once a dentist has undertaken a course of treatment, the dentist should not discontinue that treatment without giving the patient adequate notice and the opportunity to obtain the services of another dentist. Care should be taken that the patient's oral health is not jeopardized in the process. I have reported this clinic to the ADA and will be filing a suit against them. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for treatment.

These people are…read morelocated in Wakefield, technically Raleigh, but you could spit out your mouthwash and it would land firmly on Wake Forest soil. I started seeing Dr. Galligan about two years ago. A few observations: 1. Location. Location. Location. This office is extremely nice and in a nice area, convenient to anyone working in Wake Forest or North Raleigh. A visiting dental hygienist doing my cleaning said that she'd never worked in such a state-of-the-art office. Clean, modern and each room has a different theme, so that the back drop of your cleaning, or root canal has some variety. 2. These guys do a consultation before you go in for your cleaning. They'll take rubber molds of your teeth and create custom whitening trays and provide dentist-quality whitening treatments free of charge. I've been told that this service costs $200+ elsewhere. 3. They take your picture. Why? This place is above the trend on technology. A photo appears next to every patient's name on their flat screen monitors, so that they recall who you are before you arrive. In other words, you're not just patient number 458. Dr. Galligan noted that I'd changed my hair since my last cleaning on my last visit. I thought that added personalization really made them a bit more pleasant. 4. Nice hygienists. Let's face it. These are the people that you spend all your time with. Right? The hygienists at Dr. Galligan's office are very nice. I've never left there in pain, with bleeding or aching gums or teeth. They're gentle but effective and can answer a variety of questions. 5. Dr. Galligan is very personable and down-to-earth in his mannerisms. You don't feel like you've gone to the creepy dentist guy (i.e. Steve Martin in Little Shop of Horrors). 6. Nice receptionist/staff. Dr. Galligan's wife works in the office, along with a few other very friendly ladies. 7. New patient enrollment was simple and easy- everything was online and could quickly be faxed over. 8. They accept most insurance 9. The only spoiler- they're a bit pricey. For some reason, My insurance didn't quite cover a few things, despite the fact that my plan offers two free cleanings (I had overages for x-rays and for a filling). I've referred four people to Galligan Family Dentistry and they've all thanked me and shared their happy dental stories. Smile folks.
