When I tried several times to use the suction tube to get the water out of my mouth because I was choking...she told me "I need you not to do that and touch my arm". To which I responded "I need you not to choke me." And she was not nice, and she actually left during my appointment and someone else came in. Oh and do not schedule an appointment near lunch - as I was also told they had to "find a dentist" for me. I mean then don't schedule your clients for 11 am appointments if everyone goes to lunch at noon. Front desk snapped at me when I asked for my treatment plan too - for services they recommended and that I would pay them to perform (took a week to get it, but I am not going back). Also, the website is glitchy and they send you weird texts about forms and if you are in the parking lot. And I just called to cancel my next cleaning and she literally hung up on me.

First they sent me a bill from an appointment that was 6 months prior for charges that I had no knowledge of - they backtracked and said they don't take my insurance anymore and I needed to pay it. No, that's not how this works! I paid what I was supposed to pay when I was there, they wanted even more after 6 months?!? The way I found out was when my daughter went for her appointment and they told her it would be somewhere around $100 for what we had been paying $0 previously. No notice! I told her to get back in her car and come home, do not go sit in that chair for your cleaning! The office staff had the audacity to tell me they would charge me for a no show if she didn't stay, somewhere around $100. I laughed, and told her that it is on them for not informing us of their change in accepting our insurance and to come find me for that missed appointment charge - please, come find me! That was the end of going there. It's a shame. I liked Dr Adams, he was nice. It's the lack of communication with the patients in which they lack that led me to find another provider. Touché

After years of an infection that broke into my sinuses, I went to see a specialist who immediately identified the poor work. He also knew exactly who did the work, as he has had to help other former patients of Dr Adams with similar issues. Thousands of dollars, multiple procedures, and multiple health issues later, I am back on track and healthy. As a side warning - over the years, I have posted about this experience on provider review sites. Those reviews, and others I would see about similar botched work by Dr Adams, have since been removed.

After a little more than 20 years in seeing a dentist, I came to Dr. Andreaus with a number of…read moredental problems, embarrassing cavities on my front teeth, a very crooked smile, horrible pain from some teeth that needed root canals, and a tremendous amount of anxiety. Looking back, the anxiety was so high that I would have just continued suffering and hiding my smile except for the pain I was dealing with. I had some bad experiences with dentists as a child. His staff was very friendly and accommodating and Dr. Andreaus himself was amazing. He took his time to explain everything to me, he answered a ton of questions I had, we went over a ton of options, and put together a treatment plan that would focus on the immediate pain, and then deal with the other problems one stage at a time as I was comfortable. He completely set me at ease. He was never judgmental or preachy about my lack of dental treatment in the past, and he was very friendly and easy going. I've been his patient for several years now (I had a lot of problems) and I can say with full confidence that he is an amazing professional and he really cares about his patients. I'm not just another number or random patient to him. I still have a lot of anxiety about getting any dental work done, but those are long seated fears that have just taken some time to get over. Having said that though, I totally attribute it all to Dr. Andreaus. I've thanked him a number of times, but I don't think I've really articulated how much he has meant to me and how much I appreciate him. I'm proud of the work he has done for me and I've relearned how to smile and laugh without trying to force a grin and keeping my lips over my teeth. I still have more work to go, but I wouldn't trust my teeth and my smile to anyone else on the planet. If you are like me and need a dentist that cares and has fantastic skills (really, he is amazing) then you have GOT to see him. You will be in great hands. Also, when he gives you options for treatment he will also give you some recommendations. I suggest trusting him and going with his recommendation. Don't be afraid to ask questions either. PS His office has great artwork and is really easy to get to on Glenwood (Five Points).
