I fractured a tooth in August and was shopping prices since I don't have good dental insurance. Arlene and Sima are very sweet and accommodating. Dr Visot removed the nerve since I was in so much pain then his father did my root canal a Few days later on Sept 10th. The root canal went fine in about an hour. I still continued to have lots of pain but it's finally feeling better. They accept care credit which is great! Was hard to find because it's all the way in the back of a hidden complex. I had an implant done by Dr. Visot. I went to another dentist before and it was a horrible mistake. I had a tooth that was bothering me. So that dentist ground my tooth - and I had a LOT of pain while and after he did. It was a miserable experience. After all that, this dentists tells me he can't save the tooth and has to pull it! Seriously! I got even more upset: losing my tooth at 25! Dr. V. really saved me. He gave me an implant in place of the missing tooth. Now you can't even tell I had any missing tooth. If I could give them less than one star I would. I would like to file a claim about the dentist that I visited today. I scheduled a 10am teeth whitening session today. I arrived at 9:55 to fill out the paperwork. I was told that they could not start the procedure until the office arrived. She showed up 15 minutes late. Shortly thereafter, the dental assistant examined my teeth and told me that they were not cleaned enough to proceed even though I had a cleaning performed a couple of months ago. She cited the Groupon rules as stating that a cleaning should be done with a day or so of the whitening procedure. However, the Groupon voucher clearly states that the cleaning must be performed within 6 months which I certainly qualified for. I told the office manager that I would not have the time to do the cleaning and whitening because she had arrived late and asked to reschedule. She refused to reschedule because the voucher had expired even though it was her tardiness that created this timing conflict. This woman was extremely rude and even defended her tardiness by saying "I can do whatever I want. Just because you have an appointment for 10 doesn't mean that you will start at 10." I therefore had to leave without getting the procedure done or without a new appointment from them. It is my belief that this office tried to do a bait and switch business practice. They did a perfunctory examination of my teeth. One reason she said that she couldn't do the whitening was due to food between my teeth. (So pick it out.) Then she said I had "a little plaque" on the front of my teeth which she picked right off. Then she said I had plaque on the inside of my teeth. But the whitening procedure is for the outside only. I do not believe that my teeth were sufficiently "unclean" to perform the procedure. I think that they were trying to have me pay for an additional service which I did not need. I wouldn't trust these people at all. Further, I can't believe that the office manager was so rude when she was the one who was late. Lastly, when she did show up, I held out the voucher which she quickly snapped out of hand with a sweeping arm gesture. I had dismissed it initially as a very odd sense of humor that failed. But after the subsequent events, I see that as another example of her insensitivity and ignorance about common decent customer service. read more

When i was there, everyone was extremely professional, which in my opinion, you don't see too often these days. I had implants procedure with Dr. Visot. It took time but I am very happy with the results and I think it's a great investment. I had few teeth missing and didn't want to have bridges. First appointment is was consultation. I came in and the doc looked at my case and said that I am a good candidate for implants. apparently, not everybody can have them. He explained the whole procedure to me, how it will work, how much time it should take, then gave me estimate. I was very confident in this doc after this first visit. He was very knowledgable about implants and other options. He showed me some models and also the work hes done. Next time I came in he did a bone grafting -- inserted the implants into my jaw. It is an intimidating procedure but I went pain free. Then, we waited for everything to heal. I could of had crowns put on right away but the doc said it's better to wait.  3 months later, my mouth was finally ready for the last part. I had the crowns put on. I am happy about the results I got. I think it was well worth waiting for. The whole process, though it takes time, is worth it. Results are great. I recently had a root canal procedure with Dr. Alex Visot. I first went to another dentist - I had a Groupon - and he said I might need to see an endodontist for this, he referred me to one. But the prices there were a bit on the high end, so I decided to get a second opinion and search elsewhere. Dr. Visot did confirm that I needed a root canal but he said he does these and I do not have to go see a specialist (endodontist). The day of the procedure, everything went just as planned. They gave me a local anesthetic which numbed the area completely (and I do have sensitive teeth!), I waited for a bit in the chair for this to take effect -- which I didn't mind at all, I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to my teeth. Dr. removed my old filling and then the nerve. I didn't feel a thing the whole time. I liked that he took X-rays twice during the procedure -- to make sure he was removing everything from inside the tooth (yeah, I know, X-rays are not that great, but I'd rather have no pulp that could possibly get inflamed left inside the canal). Then, he placed a new filling on top of my tooth. The whole appointment took just about an hour. It all went painlessly, which I am very happy about, and I now do not need to fear that the tooth could get inflamed and start hurting at any moment. Big relief, thanks, Dr. Visot! read more

I love going to Dr. Alex Visot at Caring Tooth Dental. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my dental work. As far as I'm concerned he is the greatest dentist in the world. I have been going to him for over 15 years. Here is what I have had done over the years.... 2 wisdom teeth removed 1 root canal he replaced all of the amalgam fillings (aprox. 5) in my mouth 2 extractions cleanings regular fillings bleaching trays he even made me a retainer 10 years ago I'm sure there is more, however I can't remember The point of the review is to let you know why I keep returning to him. And here is the honest reason why Going to the dentist is scary for me He is the only person that has ever numbed my mouth and not hurt me I am being completely honest, I relax with no problem because I can not feel a thing when he is doing it. He is fast and competent and extremely knowledgeable. As an example, about 12 years ago he told me I needed to replace all of the amalgam fillings in my mouth because they were bad for me. This is way before I ever heard anyone even talking about it. He was absolutely right, I did it and have never regretted it. I can go on my lunch break and within 1 hour I can get a filling and be back at work with no problem His prices are very fair He is sweeet and super funny and easy to talk to and just an all around honest and decent guy. He also is very good at telling you what is wrong while it is still in the early stages so you don't have big problems later on. read more

I had implants and dentures done with this clinic. I had lost my teeth in my 40's -- doctors said it was hereditary and they couldn't save them. Had to wear dentures for years. They were very uncomfortable causing me lot pain and embarrassment because they moved around. I tried different ones but it didn't really help. When I went to see Dr. Alexander he suggested to have 2 implants placed on each side and then having snap-in dentures put onto them. The Dr. explained that this helps with retention. I hesitated because implants and permanent dentures is scary for me, especially with how my dentures were before. But Dr. Alexander assured me. So as I said Dr. placed 4 implants (2 on each side). Then, when everything healed he secured the dentures to these. Now I can eat without any pain, my dentures stay in place and Im not embarrassed when going out and eating. I am so happy, I could not praise Dr. Alexander enough, best dentists in my experience! read more

Doctor Visot is by far the best dentist I ever had :) he managed to save a tooth that other dentists said there is no way that tooth can be saved and the only way it to have it extracted. That was not the case with Dr. Visot, he not only medicated my root and saved it but he also had it crowed . I am so so pleased with the results and I will continue to do all my dental work with him. A pleasant atmosphere , delicate hands and I always felt like I was among friends :) I was always afraid of dental work , but Dr. Visot has done a magnificent job. Absolutely no pain, I felt comfortable and I actually look toward to seeing him and having my work done . I highly recommend him for any kind of works ranging from crowns, to dental implant and bone implants. I will have some filling to do this coming week and I know I will be in good hands . I still have some work to be done and although my husband and I will be moving to San Diego, I will travel to LA just to have my work done here .
