I never spoke to them and yet they keep sending me things trying to get my business. I will never work with any business that lies at the outset. Update: I called the number from the text and they confirmed they were Adam's moving. I confirmed the address in Seattle that was registered with the Department of revenue in Washington state. Checking with the Department of revenue in Washington state there is only one Adams moving registered with the state. I am attaching a screenshot of the text. There are far too many scams out there that try to start off by saying I have reached out to them. It's a way to get your foot in the door and get you to call back. I find it dishonest, and I would never do business with someone who started out a conversation by claiming I asked them to call me.

He insisted on a video walkthrough so he could give the most accurate estimate he could, explained everything and answered packing questions and more along the way. Please avoid at all costs, they are AWFUL! Hired them for full-service moving…read more Where do I begin with the issues? 1. They did not listen to instructions. We asked them not to pack the kitchen or bathroom, but they packed them both anyway. This means both time we paid for, and the expense of tons of supplies AND more work post move (since we now had to rewash everything). 2. They were wasteful so they could upcharge for supplies. Found a number of empty boxes. They used a wardrobe box to move a bunch of bubble wrap - nothing else inside. They emptied the contents a plastic bin filled with clothes into another box and then wrapped the empty bin in plastic - it truly made no sense. Found 5 barely used rolls of tape in one room after they left as an example...clearly just trying to charge for supplies. 3. Some flat out dangerous packing - they packed a bleach cleaning spray (didn't even move the nozzle to "off" in a box with cosmetics...could have ruined the items or gotten bleach on items that go on my face. (And again, I asked them not to touch my bathroom in the first place). 3. When signing the paperwork, they skipped over the part that asked for reimbursement coverage. I caught this and asked them to go back and give me pricing so I could decide what made the most sense. They asked me to sign and would follow up with pricing and then no one followed up. 4. I still haven't located a suitcase from the move (guessing it got left in the truck) and also had broken items (including a chip in my $10k dresser). They didn't reassemble a bed properly and then hid the pieces under the bed which means there's a risk of the bed breaking now and shows they were just cutting corners. 5. And after all of this, they have been non-responsive to my attempts to file a claim. Next steps are to take this to the BBB, try and do a chargeback from my credit card company, and post on social media so hopefully no one else falls for these scammers.

Leland told me to buy U-haul boxes as those hold up better. I bought lots of small boxes so I could move some of them to the storage locker before move day. I then lived in AirBnBs for a short time until I bought my next place. Then I hired Leland and team again. Because I packed up in small boxes, I was able to move some boxes myself and unpack before the big official move in date. That did reduce my cost on move #2. Nothing was damaged. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon. But I would hire Washington Movers again.

I am writing this to share my experience and warn future customers about how this company handles…read moredamages and accountability. I hired A Perfect Mover to handle my move into a brand-new home. Three days before the move, brand-new carpeting was installed. During the move, their team caused visible damage to multiple carpeted areas, which I brought to their attention immediately. The owner, Shane acknowledged it and asked me to send carpet cleaning information so they could cover the cost. I scheduled a professional carpet cleaner and informed Shawn when they arrived. Only at that point--two months after the move was completed and fully paid for $10,824 ... ( we are a family of 4 ) Shane suddenly claimed I had a "past due balance" for junk removal labor. This was never mentioned during or after the move, nor on any invoice. It appears to have been brought up only when it came time to pay for the damage they caused. This is especially odd because I had already settled my bill with them totaling $10,824 ...so wouldn't that extra charge be brought up at the time of processing payment.???? Yeah... you'd think so. Despite this surprise accusation, I still attempted to be reasonable and offered to pay the carpet cleaner upfront while allowing him to reimburse the remaining balance (even factoring in the amount he claimed I "owed," which I dispute). Instead of resolving the matter professionally, Shane became defensive, accused me of "threatening a bad review," minimized the damage to my brand-new carpet, and refused to take responsibility. He then said everything would now be pushed through a "claims process," effectively declining to resolve it directly. To be clear: * The job was paid in full the day of the move. * No past due charges were ever mentioned until reimbursement for damages was requested. * The carpets were new and undamaged, and no effort was made by the company to repair or mitigate. * My review is not a threat--it is a reflection of how this company treats customers after being paid. I support small businesses, but integrity matters. A company that damages a customer's home and then invents retroactive charges to avoid accountability is not acting in good faith. I would strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution
