The price was reasonable, and what really stood out to me was that he actually did all the work himself. At other dentist offices, I rarely ever saw the actual dentist, so this was a huge difference. The results blew my expectations. His attention to detail and the care he puts into his work really shows. The whole experience was comfortable; they even give you a warm neck wrap during treatment, which sounds small, but it makes a big difference. There was zero pain, everything was quick, and I left feeling more confident than I have in years. Highly recommend stopping the procrastination and finally getting the smile you've been wanting. Dr. Eshom made the entire process easy, comfortable, and absolutely worth it.

However, I lost a front veneer and called immediately to get an appointment for the following day. The office said they could not see me for another week! I don't expect favors but one week without a front tooth is not acceptable. If one can't expect service for an emergency, they must not care about their patients. Very disappointing.

The whole process has been smooth and they always take the time to answer my questions and make sure I'm comfortable. One of my favorite things is all the little touches that make the office feel so thoughtful. They had mouthwash, goodies, and they even gave me the cutest San Diego Invisalign chapstick. It's such a small thing, but it shows how much they care about their patients and the overall experience. You can tell the team genuinely loves what they do. If you're thinking about Invisalign, I highly recommend coming here. Great people, beautiful office, and amazing care. So happy I found them!

I simply asked the billing clerk if she could follow up with my insurance company to see when my second payment would be mailed. She immediately told me that San Diego Invisalign doesn't work with insurance companies and that she wasn't going to do that for me. That made absolutely no sense because when I first started treatment, their office was the one that contacted my insurance, verified my benefits, arranged for the first insurance payment to be mailed directly to them, and had me authorize them to cash the check. They had been working with my insurance the entire time, so asking them to follow up on the remaining payment was completely reasonable. Instead of receiving help, I was met with attitude and inaccurate information. The second issue was scheduling. I have a demanding career with meetings throughout the day, so taking time off for appointments isn't easy. My last five appointments were all rescheduled or significantly changed for one reason or another. On one occasion, I arrived expecting to have planned treatment completed, only to learn that the doctor had an emergency and the appointment had been reduced to a quick 10-minute check. While I completely understand that emergencies happen, no one contacted me beforehand to let me know my treatment plan for that visit had changed. Had I known, I could have rescheduled instead of taking valuable time away from work. What made the experience even more frustrating was that when I questioned why the planned treatment wasn't happening, I initially felt like staff were trying to convince me that nothing had changed before eventually acknowledging that it had. The biggest disappointment, however, is the actual outcome of my Invisalign treatment. I was originally told treatment would run from February through August, but it kept getting extended until June of the following year. Throughout treatment, I followed every instruction exactly as directed. I wore my aligners as instructed and did everything I was supposed to do. At one point, my aligners even became warped and stopped fitting correctly, requiring replacement trays. When it came time to remove my attachments, I repeatedly told the doctor that I wasn't happy with how my teeth looked. His recommendation was to go home, whiten my teeth, and see how I felt once the attachments were off because he thought the appearance might improve. He also told me that if I still wasn't happy, I could come back and they would continue treatment. I followed his advice, whitened my teeth, and unfortunately my opinion didn't change. My teeth are only slightly better than they were before treatment, and they are still not straight. My lateral incisors are still sitting behind my front teeth, which was one of the issues I wanted corrected in the first place. When I returned and explained that I was still unhappy, the doctor agreed that they could bring me back in and try to move those teeth further forward. I thought they were going to stand behind their work and finish my treatment. Instead, after scheduling the appointment, I was told I would need to pay an additional $500. After spending thousands of dollars, extending treatment for many additional months, following every instruction exactly as directed, and still not achieving straight teeth, I was shocked to be asked for even more money to correct a result that should have been achieved the first time. Overall, I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and extremely disappointed. Between the poor customer service from billing, constant scheduling issues, lack of communication, treatment delays, and a final result that didn't meet reasonable expectations, I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

I was finally moved to a different room and got my teeth cleaned. I had to had ask the hygienist if I had any cavities and told that I probably didn't if the dentist didn't say anything to me which she didn't. But did try to sell me on invisiline which I declined. When I got to the receptionist I found out that I had 3 cavities. And when I asked to have the dentist explain them to me the dentist was too busy and the receptionist had to walk me through the cavities. I later came in to have the cavities filled and found out that they weren't actual cavities but staining on my old fillings which could indicate potential decay (not definite signs of cavities). Additionally when getting my cavities filled the dentist was late every time and the dental assistant would be assisting multiple clients. I'm summary the practice is incredibly unprofessional, double books patients, not transparent will billing, and their work is subpar for the costs. I recommend finding a different practice.

In addition to Dr. Harmetz's professionalism, he has been successful in recruiting and maintaining a highly competent and well trained staff of administrators and professional assistants to meet his patients needs. He has also partnered with another friendly and professionally committed partner in the dental practice, Dr. Kim. While my interaction as a patient has not been as long with Dr. Kim, he has demonstrated himself to be personally committed to his patients and willing to go out of his way to meet their dental needs. During COVID, we had made a trip to attend a memorial for a family member near Portland, Oregon. A dental emergency arose which required professional attention. We contacted Dr. Kim and he was able to put us in touch with a couple of dentists contacts who he knew personally who had practices in the immediate area. I have been especially impressed by the level of training displayed by the dental hygienists and technicians in the office. In addition to providing professional service, they go out of their way to explain the details of the treatment you receive, willing to share information about dental anatomy in a manner which enhances the patients understanding of how proper dental care contributes to dental health. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who is looking for finding an excellent service providing trustworthy, highly skilled, timely and friendly, pain-free treatment for both routine and specialized dental care.

Because they use the best possible equipment in dentistry, they have optics on whats going on in my mouth that my traditional dentist apparently doesn't. Through this comprehensive consult, they discovered a pretty big abscess/infection in the back right of my bottom jaw through a CT scan in a tooth that apparently doesn't have any nerve pain currently. (I would never have known! Not even my dentist saw this with traditional x-rays. What the heck!!??) Jennifer and I discussed a treatment plan to address ALL concerns and I just realized, through her help, that the incredibly severe Trigeminal neuralgia (facial nerve) pain that had me in tears a few years ago over the course of 3 months that NO DENTIST or root canal specialist could explain and that disappeared just as fast as it appeared. It was highly likely related to the abscess that they discovered last week because of the specialized equipment and overall focus they have on addressing issues from many angles. My body was crying out for help 3 yrs ago after God knows how many years of that infection being there and no one could explain except for this practice. I want to cry. So grateful to now make it all make sense. Highly recommend their expertise! They truly are "comprehensive."

After the preliminary x-rays the hygienist went in to look at my gums. You know when they throw a number for root planing this guy was throwing up 4s, 5s, and 6s in milliseconds. All of a sudden I have horrible gum disease I never thought I had. The lady giving me a "dental plan" of $2000+ after insurance was telling me of how many state of the art laser interrogations I needed that insurance wouldn't cover at all. Fast forward to my dental cleaning. Btw I have to pay out of pocket a significant amount bc "I have gum disease now". They numbed me up so bad I couldn't go back into work. I had 2 sessions of periodontal scaling and root planing. The first lasted 30 minutes. The second lasted 15 minutes. These should have gone for an hour and a half.
