Purchased a Dodge Avenger from this dealership a couple of weeks ago, and it's been an absolute nightmare ever since. The car has had nothing but problems -- clearly a lemon -- and the dealership has been completely useless in addressing the issues. To make things worse, the manager, Mark, asked us to take down our initial negative review with the promise that they'd help cover the cost of repairs. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and removed the rating... only to be ghosted with no follow-through, no support, and definitely no deal on repairs. Just more empty promises. We've now wasted thousands of dollars on a car that should never have been sold in the first place. This place is dishonest, unprofessional, and not to be trusted. This place is located on the SW corner of 19th Ave and Mountain View Rd. Entrance is on Mountain View Rd. The hours are M-F 9am - 4pm and Sat 9am - 1pm (see photo). If you read the 1 star reviews most of them seem to be they bought a car and then something goes wrong. Most of these smaller used car places have a mechanic that does some minor repairs but in no way can you rely on that to be enough. The problem is this place will not let you take the car to a mechanic. There are mobile mechanics in the area around Carland. You can search them on your maps. These guys can check the car. Of course they cannot lift the car up and look under but it seems some kind of an inspection would be better than no inspection of cars at this place. Their prices look like good deals but it depends on how much is wrong with the cars. In one of the positive reviews Carland decided to fix the AC at no charge and in another review they only offered to inspect and then give a price for the repairs. We tried to get a Ford Edge looked at by a mobile mechanic but the car sold before I could get the guy there to check the car. The workers are friendly but the bottom line here is you need to get the cars some kind of inspection before you buy it, not after. read more

Sold me a POS back in 2019,it was my fault that guy Anthony if he's still there, saw my desperation. Which gave him opportunity to sell me said POS. Their lot is garbage, they just sell cars straight from the auction and have fake mechanics. So long story short the car I "financed" starting having serious issues 2 months after I got it which was Thanksgiving night. Got it fixed in 2020, but still leaking oil and ended up putting a new motor in it back 2022, had transmission issues and fixed that in 2023, July of 2023 it broke down again and on my last car payment I traded it. I wouldn't even give them 1 Star. My daughter went in looking for a vehicle for her and her 4 kids. They had a Chrysler Town and Country being detailed and sold it to her. No test drive or anything. Once her dad looked at it and she drove it a little ways we noticed there are several safety issues as well as things that need to be repaired. When we called there is nothing they can do. It was purchased as is with an implied warranty and the guy on the phone said they would look at that for free but everything else they would offer a quote for repairs. I told him that I will not accept them driving in an unsafe car for this dealership to make a sell. I would say if your looking to buy a vehicle go anywhere else but here and tell a friend. The car was posted on Craigslist and it was exactly as described for the exact price when I went to see it in person. The mechanic had been out sick when I bought the car, so they offered to fix a few things free of charge if I brought it in the following week. Please don't go here with out researching the car you want to buy. I went in to buy a Porsche Cayenne, and they had 2 on the lot. I took a quick glance at them an d was over eager to start the process to buy the vehicle. However after starting the process and looking into the vehicle something didn't seem right about the car. I asked for the car fax, and the dealer kept beating around the bush and saying things like oh the printer is having trouble we will get it to you. After talking with them and asking alot of questions, they seemed hesitant to approve me. The car I was looking to buy was as advertised a 2006 porsche cayenne GTS, something seem odd here...the porsche cayenne GTS model didn't come out until 2008. So Naturally this was a red flag. After getting the vin number it pulled up a SALVAGED titled porsche cayenne standard model. The car was repainted and then they added a decal to make it look like a Porsche GTS. BOTTOM LINE: INSPECT THE VEHICLE THOROUGHLY. I did report them for fraud and I am leaving this review in hopes that you do not find yourself out of a lot of money. read more

Long story short, I ended up purchasing a Audi at less than the Blue book value. I read the other reviews so I decided to get the car checked out at a Audi dealer and behold, they said the car was well taken care of and no major problems. The A/C went out in my vehicle within days of the purchase. I contacted Jordan and he stated that he would get it fixed. These guys sell cars that are not fit for driving. I bought a 2006 Pacifica from them, bald tires(I replaced them), tie rods (completely worn out), rack and pinion bushings (shot), brakes(going bad). Then they refused two days later to make it road safe, after I had already put $1000.00 into it to make it almost road safe. I had to trade in the car that day at another dealership in order to get a safe car for my daughter and I. I will never go to this lot again. I have been warning people about this place as well. I actually financed a car from these ppl back in 2017 and got a good deal on it and the car only had a couple problems. I went back to them 2yrs later 2019 and talked to the same guy and financed a newer car and within less than 2 months later I'm getting a severe oil leak, they said they would fix another issue they never did, $1900 later the issue was fixed but still getting a leak from the oil pan, it needs brakes, new headlight in the passenger side, blah blah blah. Basically they sold me worse than a lemon, now I'm stuck with this piece of shit and forced to find a cheap daily because I can't afford to keep fixing it. And no... I didn't see any issues while test driving,these problems didn't arise until after a couple months of driving. BY far the WORST car buying experience that I have ever had. Nothing but lies from the shady children that work in this dealership, if you can call it that. I bought a Cayenne, I drove home missing lug nuts and had a fuel system issue. I took it back the next day they said they would fix it. I rented a car at my expense and came back the next day to pick it up to find nothing had been done at all. I left it another day and they claimed the fuel injectors and lugs had been replaced. 3 days later I was having the same issues and I took it to a real mechanic to find that they had never replaced anything........NOTHING but runaround with this group there is not a professional at this shop. IN fact, I will go as far to say that they intentionally mislead you, pretend not to know who is who, they all use first names for fear of someone knowing who they really are. it is pathetic and they really screwed me and my family as i have had to pay at least $1500 in the first month just to keep the car on the road. DO NOT TRUST THIS GROUP. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PAY MORE FOR A CAR THAT ISNT RUINED. I am reporting this group for fraud as well. We bought an suv from them not too long ago. We delt with Matt, he was very friendly and nice but when it came down to the business of things he didn't know a whole lot. He didn't know the exact price of the vehicle we were buying (husband didn't care, he loved the suv at first sight), amongst other things. The tires on the car we low on air so we asked for them to put air but he said we can do that ourselves, also the detailer could not be found (?), so our car wasn't even clean! Also only 15 day warranty on just engine and safety issues, sketchy as to other dealerships at 30 day. Couple days later the car started to malfunction, take back to the dealership, they said they'll look at it and claim nothing is wrong probably bad gas. Also the detailer was found and he only vacuumed the floor, bad job too. Just a few days after it happens again, they tell us it's the fuel pump, also told it would be there for a day, ended up taking several (wrong ordered part they said, yeah Right). Couple days later it was still having the issue, Matt was no longer taking our calls, sending us straight to voicemail, so we have to call the dealership. There was lots miscommunication because they were playing a game of telephone. The last time (3rd time) we take it in they finally figure out the really problem (don't know the technical name but it had something to do with a coil). They refused to give us any paperwork on the car stating since they purchased the parts and did the work they don't need to give us anything. It's my car and I would have liked something saying they worked on it at least. Each time we had to drop the car off we had to get our own ride home, and when we picked it up there was always new dirt and leaves in the car, they didn't bother keeping it clean. And not once did the owner come out and talk to us himself, we were waiting for the car outside his office while he had one of his guys being messenger between us. All super nice salt of the earth guys at this dealership. Carland LLC seems to specialize in good looking High-Line autos. Hummers, BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Infinity, you name it. Credit Issues, no problem. Just have them checked out by a certified repair facility. Especially if a manufacture warranty is expired or high mileage vehicle. They do not know nor comply with Arizona Lemon Law statute required repairs and charges. Legal pressure costs time and money... Your time and money, and they know it and will string you along. It may not be intentional. Like I said, they are super nice guys. But when it comes to business, it's all about the money. Fair enough... Can't recommend them. Responding to a Craiglist ad for a 2007 (listed as '08 on their website) Mazda 3 that was posted as far back as 8/11/15, I called the number listed for Matt on 9/5/15. No answer, so I called the main line for the dealership and spoke to Ryan. He asked if I'd be paying cash or financing, and I told him cash. He said he'd have to check if they still had the car and would text or call me back. I never heard back. I texted Matt on 9/6. No answer. Called the dealership on 9/7 and spoke to Greg, who also asked if I'd be paying cash or financing. He put me on hold to see if they still had the car and came back on saying he didn't think they had it anymore. After complaining that Ryan didn't get back to me when he was supposed to, he put me on hold again to check with his assistant manager. He came back on and said that yes, the car was sold, and that a sale had been in the works when I'd been calling Ryan on 9/5 and so when the sale went through, he didn't call me back. On 9/8 I had another person, a male, call the dealership. He spoke to Jeff and asked if the car was still there, and it WAS. They LIED to me about the car being sold when I told them I would be paying cash because they want to make more money off of people financing. I saw a car that I was interested in posted one morning, called that same evening and was told the car was sitting right outside on the lot and to come in the next morning. I drove out 35 minutes to look at the car and when I arrived I was greeted by a salesman taking a drag from his cigarette. Another salesman came out of the office to greet me as well. When I told him about the car I was interested in he said that it was at emissions, but after showing him the actual ad that was posted less than a day before, he stated that the car had actually been sold a few days before, but he would be more than happy to show me any other car; the classic bait-and-switch... I was very disappointed, it is bad business to lack integrity and respect for a person's time, but what was surprising is how unapologetic and nonchalant the salesman seemed, like if this was the norm. I bought a BMW from Carland. I must say I was very leery of going to a small lot, but after being treated like crap at the big dealerships I gave them a try. I walked in with $500, my credit wasn't the best, and I needed a car. After taking a walk around the dealership and looking at the inventory we went inside to look at what it took to own a car, I loved the 3-series but thought it was out of my range. It was not. I got my payments where I needed them to be, they even helped to get me insurance. I don't understand all these people that give terrible reviews, sometimes as a consumer we don't look in the mirror and realize that perhaps we are the reason for bad service. I took pictures of the parts that were eon held up by zip ties. I have had so many issues with my vehicle. In the beginning they did not want for me to do a test drive. They said I had to qualify. First off, I don't doubt that these sudden positive reviews are from people who work at this lot. Never go to this POS dealership! I went in and first checked what they could approve me for, they seemed nice at first but then they kept trying to push one car on me the whole time. Typical right? I saw a couple defects on the inside and they refused to lower the price. Tires were going bald, salesman started smoking sending fumes carelessly towards me. I leave without buying a car. A couple days later they call me to ask if I had already purchased a car, I lied to them and said I had. The guy on the other side of the phone starts asking questions such as: "what kind of car? How much did you pay? Where'd you get it?"so I trying to be nice, answer his questions. Suddenly, the guy on the phone starts getting an attitude and asking why I didn't buy from them! A few months pass and I see a car posted on Craigslist by them. So I ask them if it's still on the lot, and they reply with a simple yes. So I ask for pricing and things of that sort, knowing that the particular car I was looking into was underpriced I was skeptical. I left it as is and never went to go see this underpriced car. I went on the internet to search for a vehicle. I was bombarded by calls and e-mails from all these Dealers.Ryan at Carland contacted me 1 time asked me a few questions and said come in anytime to take a look. I was sent 1 e-mail from them, that was it. No pushy salesman , no 3 to 4 phone calls a day and no spamming my e-mail dozens of times. I decided to go with Carland just for the fact that I was not being harassed by them. I went there was looking at the cars Ryan came out to greet me. This was a painless process, I was in and out of there with my 2010 Ford Escape in less than 2 hrs. I want to also say this, I drove the vehicle for about a week and a clicking noise I heard when I test drove it had gotten worse. I called Ryan and explained to him that it was making me very nervous. He told me to bring it in and they would take a look at it. Well turns out the axles were bad and they replaced both axles on the vehicle no charge to me. Ryan is the go to guy. He is very personable and great to work with.
