Garlic aioli chicken and tuna chop
    Emily B.

I have been seeing this place all over instagram recently so we decided to give it a try! It was so delicious and such refreshing sandwhiches. The tuna was very interesting since it had garbanzo beans in it but honestly it was perfect flavors. the garlic chicken was very perfectly seasoned and very delicious. the service was great, overall 10/10.

    Avocado toast and lox

Stumbled across this quaint Italian cafe . Caught my attention from the outside being very welcoming. Walked in fresh smell of bread. Which happened to be the croissants that were cooking. The owner was working and stated that the business is not normally open on Sundays. But, due to the marathon. She opened up and I was definitely grateful. I ordered the avocado toast and a cappuccino. It did take a bit. But, she was very kind and gave me a fresh pastry. Which I neglected to take a picture of oops. Oh and not to mention. The cutest little Pomeranian that greets you as you walked in.

Tuna sandwhich, decent taste, but this was $18

$18, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! that's how much I just paid for a Tuna sandwhich. Not a foot long or decent size sub either, but for a toast size sandwhich. At best this is $8-$9 max and nothing special about the tuna. Sorry, the hype was not real for me and it's way ocerpriced. You can make a week's worth of sandwiches for $18, save yourself the trouble.

    chicken pesto sandwich

Really fresh ingredients and easy ordering system. The bread of the sandwich felt hard at first but upon the first bite is very flaky and soft and provided a very good crunch, not hard to chew at all which was a pleasant surprise! Few indoor seating and cute back patio area first come first serve. Would definitely come back to try other items.

Tuna Sandwich - barely any tuna in it

I just ordered from here for the first time. There is barely any tuna in the sandwich. I will never order from here again.

My friend and I had such a great dineLA experience today. The lunch menu during this time is a…read morereally great deal. You a drink, an appetizer, an entree and ice cream, all for $25! These days, that the price of an entree. We shared our appetizers: my friend had the individual portion of the uptown mac and cheese and I had the grilled mushroom. The mac and cheese is to die for! So creamy and very rich, with aged cheddar and gruyere cheeses, pieces of chicken, peas, and asparagus sprinkled throughout. A definite diet buster, but worth it! The grilled mushroom was no slouch either. Consisting of oyster and king trumpet mushrooms, the dish had a nice "meaty" taste, ironic since it's a vegetarian dish that is cooked in a plant based butter. You don't miss the lack of meat at all. For entrees, my friend got the poke bowl, which I did not tasted so can't attest to it, but my friend said it was good. I had the spicy pasta, which was amazing. The campanelle pasta was cooked perfectly, holding the savory, slightly spicy corn-based cream sauce in all its luscious folds. Along with roasted poblano peppers, sautéed mushrooms, marinated artichokes, and tomatoes, the ingredients all worked so well together to make a truly yummy dish. We also shared our desserts: My friend got a scoop of the vanilla fleu de sal ice cream while I opted for a scoop of the dark chocolate. Both were good, but I liked the dark chocolate as it had actual pieces of dark chocolate. Our server Kayla was amazing. So friendly and on it! She constantly checked in on us, and made sure our drink glasses were never empty. Today is just the first day of dineLA, so plenty of more opportunities to go back and try some of the other options offered!

It's become so much more than just one of our favorite bars and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The biggest reason, though, is the people. Hospitality is something that's hard to fake, and the team here does it effortlessly. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted like an old friend. Over the years, the staff has created an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal, and that's something that's become increasingly rare. Matt, Sabrina, and the entire team are all such gems. Scott also deserves special recognition. He's a huge part of what makes The Rendition Room such a special place. Whether he's introducing a new cocktail, sharing the story behind a spirit, or simply taking the time to check in, his passion and care for every guest shine through. It's people like Scott who transform a great bar into a place you truly feel connected to. On our most recent visit, we tried the new Decade & Debauchery cocktail, celebrating The Rendition Room's 10 year anniversary, and it's phenomenal. Balanced, and beautifully executed. In a city full of great bars, they have managed to create something much harder to find, a sense of community. After all these years, it still feels just as special as the first time we walked in.
