The thing with going to the dentist is that you're trusting them with something as precious as your teeth and you can only hope for the best. Well let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! I got x-rays and it turns out the tooth ache was caused by an infection and they needed to do a root canal. They shared that after a root canal the best direction to go is with a crown to protect the tooth. They gave me different options so that I could choose for myself. Fast forward to the results... Dr. A did an amazing job!! But honestly I was very satisfied with all the staff. Everyone was always super sweet and friendly, and in addition some of them were locals that even went to CHS! THAT BOY DR. CHON A JOKE and is running that place to the ground. Story below... Decided to get work done years ago, Invisalign, Dr. Chon was my primary doctor and I began seeing him during my normal visits. During my Invisalign treatment this BOY CHON really said, to forget about a perfect smile. Already taking the piss and lowering expectations for the half ass job he was about to embark on. This should've been my exit sign, but I was looking to fix my teeth and pushed through. When everything was said and done, I only saw Dr. CHON a couple times and he made sure to only answer briefly and quickly as if he was moments away from taking the biggest dump in life... I'd see his name on my appointments and paperwork but really only saw him if the procedure actually involved out-of-pocket money ($$$) and even then he'll send 2-3 minions to talk to me before asking him questions directly. Gives his patients the runaround and causes confusion so when shit hits the fan, which in most cases it will because he rushes literally everything, he has some wiggle room to slither away like the snake that he is! This actually seems to be his MO with many patients; rushes, not direct, and only passes by to make sure you see he is there but does his very best to avoid actually interacting with his patients. Once had a simple clean-up in the afternoon with his name on the appointment and he sends his assistant to take care of it. Tells them he's going to lunch while having a patient in the chair waiting to see him! Again, the appointment had his name and I think his staff by now know Dr. Chon gives zero fucks about his patients so when I leave I look at the appointment again and what do you know, they had changed the name to reflect the assistants name. In other words, his name is on the paperwork to get you in the door, half asses his work then send his assistants who know nothing about the situation to clean-up. One of my last visits they tired selling me extractions for all four of my wisdom teeth even though two of my molars grew normal, and the other two haven't caused any problems or discomfort for YEARS. They wanted almost a co-pay of $700 for the procedure and guess who's name was on the paperwork, you've guessed it - the village's clown Dr. Chon who doesn't even do oral surgery! The oral surgeon is some other dude who shows up to that place once in a blue moon. If Dr. Chon, the clown who does the bare minimum, recommends another doctor - who only shows up for the actual half ass work - and you never get to talk to any of these doctors, imagine the list of problems and the amount of work you will have to do to rectify everything. Do yourself a favor, find a better dentist. These people are too far gone.

It was so frustrating. Everyone told me to wait, but the bump wasn't going away and looked gross. When I finally got in to see Dr. Yagoubian, it felt like such a relief. He saw me quickly, explained everything in a really calm, reassuring way, and removed the mucocele that same day. He then sent it to pathology and thankfully it came back benign. That peace of mind alone was worth everything. Recovery was a bit tougher than I expected, and right after the procedure I panicked thinking it was still there--but it was just swelling and bruising. Within about a week and a half, I was almost completely back to normal. His staff was honestly amazing. They were so kind, patient with my million questions, they provided clear instructions in what to do, eat and what not. If you're dealing with a stubborn lip bump and feeling stressed or confused (like I was), I really recommend seeing Dr. Yagoubian. Thank you!

I went in for a consultation 3 days ago and I was helped by the whole staff. I felt comfortable and like I was going to be taken care of with good heart. I was scheduled to come in for an extraction on one of my broken teeth and I was nervous. Ashley and the entire staff helped me calm down and when Dr Petcu came in to extract my tooth, he gave me words of encouragement and informed me I would not feel anything. He did not lie. I was numb amazingly well and I was able to survive the extraction. I highly recommend coming into this office and getting your teeth taken care of. They're bait and switch technique not only upset me but wasted my time, then tried to talk me into a payment plan. It's one thing to make a profit but it's a completely different thing to try to rip somebody off with a extremely over priced rate. Don't waste your time unless you have the money to burn. There's plenty of Dentists in the South Bay and it shouldn't be too difficult to find out if a better rate this cost-effective.
