They quoted me for treatment without telling me the quote was based on no insurance coverage, even though I provided my insurance information. Later, I found out the charges were way higher than what my plan allows. To make matters worse, they pressured me into signing up for a loan on the spot. When I filed a grievance with my insurance company, the office immediately sent me to collections. This is completely unethical. Always verify with your insurance BEFORE agreeing to any treatment here, because they do not make it clear. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Like I said, it was my first time filling out insurance information by myself but the staff there was super friendly and helped me through it all. The service was super professional and speedy. They answered all my newbie questions and they were super gentle with the things that go in your mouth for xrays (they've made me bleed before with other dentists). I had some cavities to fill so they booked my appointment and same thing next visit: fast, friendly, and gentle. The best cavity filling experience ever! My dad's experience: He's the reason I'm writing this review. He hadn't been to the dentist in YEARS and he's very demanding as a customer. He made an appointment and when he came home his exact words were, " that place is VERY professional. Everything was clean and the staff was nice and informative. Write a review because I really liked this place, they made me feel good as a customer." I think you DO need to have an appointment but they book one for you right away. So now I had a third tooth that broke off and I did the same process and I never felt a thing and in fact afterwards no bleeding, no pain, very little swelling. So when you leave, 2 months later you are ready for your dentist to provide the crown. These are back molars but if you had a front tooth that time would be really critical. Dr. Y and his staff are just terrific from the minute you walk in the door, so compassionate and so professional. Dr Y is a really nice guy with a wonderful young family and does his work so smoothly and both times he called me that night to see how I was doing, he really takes pride in his patients and his work as does his team. It is a really simple process to go to Torrance Oral Surgery for any sort of that type work needed and you just can't receive better service and if you choose the sedation you will never know it what happened.

I was scheduled to come in for an extraction on one of my broken teeth and I was nervous. They're bait and switch technique not only upset me but wasted my time, then tried to talk me into a payment plan. It's one thing to make a profit but it's a completely different thing to try to rip somebody off with a extremely over priced rate. Don't waste your time unless you have the money to burn. There's plenty of Dentists in the South Bay and it shouldn't be too difficult to find out if a better rate this cost-effective. At this point I'm seriously considering a trip to Mexico which is way cheaper with very qualified Dentist.

I was told it "should be covered by insurance" and that I'd only pay the difference, so I agreed to move forward. At checkout, I paid $350 and was told I'd be reimbursed after insurance was billed. Later, I found out my insurance didn't cover it at all. My concern wasn't that insurance denied the claim, it was that I was led to believe my coverage had been verified. Had I known I would likely be responsible for the full cost, I would have waited until I was financially ready. I asked if they could offer a discount given the misinformation, but after more than two months of trying to reach the manager, I was told there was nothing they could do because I had received the service. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability and willingness to address my concerns. I ended up canceling my follow-up appointment and won't be returning. I would recommend confirming that your insurance has actually been verified before agreeing to any treatment that could leave you paying out of pocket.

One said the procedure could not be done and recommended a root canl specialist, while the other explained that the treatment would be too complex and would require three separate visits. The XRay tech was super nice and made sure I was comfortable with my X Rays. They took both an XRay and a 3D photo of my bite. Luckily I had no cavities but i needed a very deep cleaning! Dr. Grace worked on my teeth for a good hour. She took her time and was plugging that tartar away from my teeth. Im so grateful for her and her expertise! After the cleaning Dr. Stephen explained my crowded teeth and the consequences if it was not fixed. I took the advice and am getting them corrected. Overall super happy I found a new dentist!
