My previous review had been removed. I find it amazing just how unprofessional everything about this place is. I was referred here after my dentist had to cancel our appointment last minute. I called and was able to make it here quickly within 30 minutes. After filling out paperwork, I was told that they would not be able to do the procedure anymore. Of course I was billed for the consultation for a procedure that they told me they could do that day but didn't. So I made the decision to come here again after my dentist was only able to do a partial extraction of my wisdom tooth. I told the staff that I am prone to pain and would like better pain medicine coverage to recover quickly to get back to my physically demanding job hopefully within days. Nope. I got motrin. I even told them this during my consultation and all I got was motrin. Motrin after literally having something pulled from the back of your jaw. When I asked the other staff if Dr. Vahadi only gives motrin to all his patients, she said "Yup" and LITERALLY shrugged her shoulders. I still can't believe this really happened. It was a Friday so I had to waste my time going to urgent care to get proper pain control. Yes, wisdom tooth extraction is painful. Ground-breaking medical news. To make matters worse, when I called the office on Monday I was belittled by Mr. Vahadi (I find it absurd having to call him a doctor) saying "Motrin works for all my patients, YOU shouldn't need it" and refused to order me any pain medication. Thank goodness my urgent care physician was able to order me something over the weekend that I literally had to conserve as long as possible since Mr. Vahadi wouldn't give me anything. After writing an initial Yelp review, I was messaged by the office to "kindly remove the review and keep in mind that they are a small business". I kindly responded I will if I can get an apology from Mr. Vahadi. I tried to get an estimate for a tooth removal, submitting an x-ray of the tooth in question and was concerned about what it would cost. The doctor refused to give an estimate without a "consultation" which he charges $100 and refused to waive that fee even though I currently do not have insurance. They wouldn't budge. Thee best dentist experience I've ever had this morning! I've hated the dentist since i was a kid. I needed a wisdom tooth and a cracked molar on the same side pulled. I didn't even realize Dr. Vahadi started on the 2nd tooth until he said both teeth were out and he's cleaning up any bacteria. Stitched me up and done. The actual procedure prob took no more than 10mins and super smooth. Thank you Dr. Vahadi and your wonderful staff. Before coming to Dr. Vahadi, I had one impacted wisdom tooth pulled out by a different surgeon and the experience I had was a painful and unforgettable one. Because of that unfortunate experience I had, I felt nervous about going to get three more wisdom teeth pulled out with two of them being impacted. When I first met Dr. Vahadi and began talking with him, my nervousness was little by little diminishing. His honesty, friendliness, and patience helped me to stay relaxed. Everyone in the office was also really nice and patient with me as well. Their office is really clean and beautiful. The whole experience there was much easier than I actually thought. After the surgery I woke surprised that it even happened. For the next 2-3 days I felt a tiny bit of uncomfort which is normal but the medication helped and I recovered faster than I expected. I believe the reason for my fast recovery is because of the amazing job the doctor did. If for any reason I had to come back to get more wisdom teeth removed, I would come here worry free and excited about doing so! I highly recommend Dr. Vahadi for anyone and everyone! I went here for four wisdom teeth extractions. I was looking around for oral surgeons around my area but this one stuck out to me because of the good reviews. I found out that Dr. Vahadi was an out-of-network provider so I had to pay for the costs up front and submit a reimbursement claim. The office handled all of that for me, and I got my refund! Dr. Vahadi explained the procedure to me very and personally called me after the surgery to see how I was doing. There is no other oral surgeon I trust more with my family's oral surgeries. We saw him yet again when my 17 year old daughter needed her 4 wisdom teeth removed. He was excellent and thorough from the beginning consultation. We felt very safe during this time of Covid as their office is clean and precautious. Upon arrival they ask that you call before entering the building and to bring your own pen for signing. After check in, only my daughter was allowed to go in while I had to wait in the foyer (which they wiped down the chairs just before). Surgery went well and Dr. Vahadi called later that evening and also a week later to follow up and make sure Patient is doing okay. The staff mange everything from sending you the pre/post surgery instructions and calling in the prescription pain meds. They are always available if you have any questions. Back in January, I contacted Dr. Vahadi's office to inquire about removing two wisdom teeth that had been bothering me for almost a year. I was terrified to have it done without anesthesia, and though he couldn't do that in office for me (since I have other health concerns) he was willing to work with a local hospital and set it up for me to do there. Before I could make that happen, my pain was too much and I decided to let Dr. Vahadi remove my teeth in his office with only local anesthesia. I have been to multiple dentists for the past 3 years and it did not work out for me due to scheduling or lack of professionalism and patient care (I work in the medical field as well, so I know what to look for). What made me decide to go for an initial consultation is the stellar 5-star review of this office from multiple reviews and I am happy to share my own 5-star experience as well. Everyone, and I mean everyone, in this practice is very accommodating, warm, thorough, professional, knowledgeable and, above all, has the best patient care skills in comparison to other dental offices I have visited. Dr. Vahadi has the utmost expertise in his field by explaining to me how the process works and answering all my questions prior to the surgical procedure. He is the sweetest and most professional oral surgeon and he made sure that you are comfortable during the procedure and that there is nothing to worry about. The front desk staff provided me the tentative bill and coverage of my insurance so I can have an expected financial obligation for the procedure and that there will be no surprise bill. They also gave me the pre op and post op instructions and Dr. Vahadi also prescribed me antibiotics and painkillers prior to the procedure. I came back two weeks after my initial consult with him, having prepared myself mentally and emotionally. I had my wisdom teeth removal last February 17 under IV sedation and I was comfortable from start to finish. It was quick, I was in 8:40 am and out 9:44 am, groggy but relieved. The first day was difficult for me but like I've said, Dr. Vahadi has compassion for his patients that he even called to check me in the afternoon and told me to call him if I have questions during my recovery period! If your insurance covers it COME HERE!! Everyone is SO NICE!!! It's nice, clean, and pristine. I HATE getting my mouth worked on but coming here was so reassuring! (PERSONAL EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO COMING HERE) Whenever I went to the dentist I HATED IT. When I got my bottom impacted wisdom teeth done at a place in Gardena, worst experience ever and I was awake for the whole thing. When I got my teeth shaved down (forgot where) because I had bad cavities in two of my teeth and they put crowns in? I HATED IT. The oral surgeon was so rude and everyone was kinda mean. But Dr. Vahadi's office? A different story! (COMING TO THIS OFFICE TO GET MY WISDOM TEETH OUT) I had to get my top two wisdom teeth removed. They were growing to fill in the space in the back of my mouth (I had impacted bottom wisdom teeth already taken out so my teeth kept growing to fill the empty space) and they had cavities due to it being hard to clean in the back. I decided no way am I going to a general dentist to get it done, I'm going to find a good place and KNOW if the oral surgeon is good! I came across this place and I'm glad I did. Booking was easy. After you book your first appointment you are directed to an online form (SO COOL! I love when offices are up to date on technology and have an online presence!) and you fill it out and submit it and done! Go in at your appointment time. I didn't wait long to be seen. Got my xray done, and Dr Vahadi came in. He talked about my teeth, the procedure and asked how I would like it done and I choose General anesthesia (you get knocked out!). He went over the risks of healing after the wisdom surgery with me and answered any questions I had. I never felt rushed anytime during my appointment. I was given prescription prior to the surgery appointment so I wouldn't have to pick up day of. When I came in for surgery I paid my co pay amount and was seen quickly to the surgery room, got prepped, saw Dr. Vahadi, got the tube in my vein, knocked out and BOOM done! Woke up, was escorted out ( I was definitely groggy) and took a nap at home for 2 hours. Woke up feeling a bit sore but other than that, pretty great! My recovery has been FLAWLESS. They even called and checked up on me after the surgery around the time I was completely conscious and awake (so nice!). I never had a dentist/oral surgeon call and check on my progress! Turns out I didn't need stitches and even then (5 days after) my mouth is healing nicely! I'm so happy! I highly recommend you come here for wisdom teeth extraction! I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed here and the experience here was very smooth! I got a consultation and set up an appointment very easily. I got my X-ray done and Dr. Vahadi was very endearing and kind while he was informing me about the procedure. They sent me an online form to fill out which was very convenient so that I didn't need to fill out anymore paperwork the day of the surgery. I simply walked in and they took me in. They could tell I was a bit nervous but they kept comforting me and letting me know that I am in good hands. Once they put my IV in I slept through the whole procedure, woke up and went home! The Doctor called me back to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. I saw Dr Vahadi for an upper molar extraction with bone graft placed for future implant. I can't say enough about the care I was given. Dr Vahadi was so sweet and personable. There are not enough stars to say how wonderful Dr. Vahadi and his wonderful staff are. From the receptionist, surgery team, to the lady taking payments. All super nice, patient, and professional. The office is super clean. I had to have surgery to get a broken tooth removed. I had a first appointment but i had an anxiety attack (i hate the dentist) Dr. Vahadi and his team were so patient and tried to calm my nerves and kept reassuring me that everything was going to be ok, but I couldn't get the fear out of me. I rescheduled for Monday 9/9/19 and they were ready for me, lol. All the staff was so nice and understood my fear of being put to sleep. All of them were super nice. Dr. Vahadi came in and once again explained everything and answered all my questions. I was put down around 8:10am and done by 8:33am I couldn't believe when they were waking me up. I thought something went wrong. Staff was like your all done. I was like damn all that anxiety I had was for what???. I had no pain at all, lite bleeding, and just little soreness. I was home by 10am, I stopped and bought a smoothie. Dr. Vahadi called to check on my around 4/5pm and i was literally walking my dogs. I am so happy with how everything went. I had Dr. Vahadi remove some tissue to have it checked for cancer and my experience was not that great. After injecting the numbing agent into my cheek to remove tissue from my gum I could still feel him cutting into my gums. My other bad experience is still on going I had to pay $1550.00 up front because they claimed that my insurance would not cover it so I paid it with a credit card and had the procedure done. I received a notification that my secondary dental paid $1240.00 on that claim. About two weeks later I get a letter from the dental office asking me to contact them about how I wanted my funds processed. I called and asked for a checked to be issued and I would come pick it up but was told that it would not be ready until the next week so I said mail it to me. So two weeks goes by and no check and they called me and said that they do not issue refund checks and that they would only refund it back to the credit card that I used. Well that balance was already paid off so I will need to have the credit card company refund me that amount whenever I receive it. It has been 7 weeks now since I first received the letter and I have yet to see any refund to my credit card !!! read more

I have a fear of dentist so I was apprehensive. The staff of Dr. V was very kind and welcoming. There were all sorts of extra precautions taken because of Covid ( upon arrival in the parking lot, call the office and wait in the car until they call you to come in. bring your own pen to write, must wear a mask, etc.) Dr. Vahadi was very pleasant during the initial consultation and during the tooth extraction. I was referred to Dr. Vahadi by my primary dentist to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was able to schedule a consultation the very next day from when I called. I went in, didn't wait long to be called. Was In and out super fast just went in for panoramic x Ray and to consult about the surgery. Dr. Vahadi was super nice and explained everything to me. I scheduled my oral surgery the very next week. Someone from his office called me to remind me 2 days before of what I was not suppose to do before the surgery. Surgery day came, I was super nervous because I was going to be completely slept for the procedure with general anesthesia. Having never done that, I was terrified about stories I've heard of people waking up and feeling pain but not being able to move their body to let them know. Lol Nonetheless, I went in was hooked up to machines for heart rate, and other stuff. Dr. Vahadi came in and asked me how I was doing and if I had any questions. I knocked out super quick that I don't even remember anything else and next thing I knew I was waking up and everything was done. I was asked if I was ready and felt comfortable getting up, I felt dizzy so I waited a bit. They called the person in that was there waiting for me, explained what to do and not to do and was sent on my way. Dr. Vahadi called me couple hours after the surgery. He was super nice asking me how I was and if I had any questions and he looked forward to seeing me a week after to check up on me. After the surgery I had the gauze in for about 2 hours until I got home after getting soups and medicine. I didn't bleed any more. I was wasn't swollen until the next day and even then, it wasn't that much. I'm not in a lot of pain so far, pain pills and antibiotics seem to be doing their job.
