Self proclaimed pizza snob here...dropped into this place in my travels. Regular slice ordered as if they get this right, you're pretty much safe on the rest. Served up hot but not volcanic, the slice was foldable but not stiff, a good sign. First bite tells the tale...nice! The cheese was nice and gooey but not soft..and not salty! The sauce was very tasty without being too sweet and nice, deep red...not bright red or kinda pink. Service was polite and cordial. The ambiance is it's a local pizzeria...so, not much on the decor. It was warm and clean and that works for me. A nice solid slice with nice people behind the counter. Worth another visit! read more

Pretty good! Thin, crispy, oily, cheesy. Maybe I love it? Long Island really has some great pizza, especially Nassau County. This might be par but par is pretty damn good. I would definitely go here again for the creamy spinach slice or the square vodka. +1 for the fountain coke. read more

I came here twice in a week, and this has to be the worst pizza place I've ever been to. My first visit was last Sunday (1/29) around 6pm, there was like no pizza left and they will not be making any more so I got a few cheese slices and a pepperoni twist for my daughter to try. I asked for them to be extra hot- that didn't happen and fyi, they charge tax on the pizza (I'm used to it being calculated in the price of the slice), no biggie. It was a 5 minute drive home, the pizza was already cold, tasted bland and crust was hard but thank god she said the pepperoni twist was good. She asked for them again so I went for the second time today (2/4) hoping my experience would be better. Nope. I ordered 2 sicilian slices, 1 spinach and 4 pepperoni twists. The cashier automatically added the 63 cent fee assuming I was paying by card but I was intending to pay cash. I asked if she can break a hundred and she said no. It was 3pm- you're an establishment and you don't have $80 change while there's a sign encouraging customers to "pay by cash and save", seriously?! At the end, I was forced to pay by credit card. Also, the young girl cashier and the guy taking orders are so rude- constantly laughing and speaking Español to each other in front of the customers. Horrible customer service and their pizza is mediocre at best. I will not be returning again for the third time. read more

Pizza is just ok...they seem to run out of selections early in afternoon and don't make new ones later. Why stay open at night if you don't have product to sell. Also, wanted one of the chicken slices but they were all out. They said they could make one, but instead they gave me a regular slice with some chicken put on top and then into the oven to be heated. This is not the same as cooking the meat in the pie. Rather go to Gino's, Vincent's or Pacific Street in the area. read more

The pizza here was fine -however I advise NOT going here when school is letting out at the end of the day ( I was there in the spring) - it is filled with kids from the school right behind it - and they are the most obnoxious -rude-disrespectful kids to both staff and other customers. I think the parents of these kids really have some work ahead of themselves.. The kids were yelling and screaming - dropping backpacks all over the place- moving the tables and chairs all over the place .. I give the pizza staff a lot of credit .... I would have shut down business a long time ago with those customers. They actually have plexiglass between them and the kids - bunch of animals . Presentation looks good, friendly people behind the counter, food looks good unfortunately the flavors were missing. I've been to my fair share of pizza places around NY and this one looks promising on paper but once I tried it, things definitely could of tasted better. In my opinion it tasted a little bland. I had a Vodka slice, Grandma slice and I tried their pepperoni in a blanket looking thing. Of the three the grandma slice was the best. I was expecting more from the vodka slice and the pepperoni in a blanket wasn't much of significance. If I HAD to go back I would get the grandma slice and maybe try something different. read more

Worst Penne allá Vodka I've ever had in my life. First off, the sauce does not deserve to be called vodka sauce as it doesn't look nor taste like it. I couldn't even eat all of it in one sitting due to the taste. Giving them a 2 because my delivery experience really left a bad vibe for me. Otherwise food is fine pretty standard and what was upsetting was that i've eaten here or ordered a few x already. Food - usually get a small cesar salad maybe add chicken tad expensive imo considering a slice is like $2.50 the small is like 4.50, side order of meatballs (fav) $5 for 2 they're quite big. We also order margarita and spaghetti sometimes no complaints. Delivery - they told me it would take about 30-45min when i called before 9pm so that was nice since they close at 10pm. It arrives and this was my fault i did not get the total price on the phone when i called in but i added it up myself that i knew it was around $23-24 The guy did not give me my receipt and told me it was $25 but later on I asked for the receipt just to make sure. I did not have anything less than $30 and when i asked for change all he had was a $5. I asked for singles which he claimed he did not have so this became an issue because I still wanted to give him a tip but i wanted singles. He said he did not really speak english and that $5 tip was good from roslyn to the house...which was 10minutes btw if i had just gone and picked it up myself. This will not be happening again. So i was nice and just let him keep it so he basically got a $6 tip after already adding $1 to my order to pocket then not having change to also pocket. I have never had an issue with a delivery person not having singles on them but i was just like whatever at that point. Not happy with that experience. read more

Love this pizzeria. My son will only eat from this location. Today they went the extra mile for him. They know he has autism and makes him feel really special each time he comes in there. Today for Valentine's Day I requested a heart shape pie and they were able to do it for him. Thanks for going above and beyond we are customers for life. The WORST customer service I've experienced! We placed an order for 2 plain cheese pizzas and 2 veggie pizzas. When we went to pick up the pizzas we were only given 2 veggie pizzas and told they'd cost $80. It was never communicated that $80 was for 2 pies, and not 4. When we spoke to the employee and owner, they insisted we only ordered 2 pies and refused to help us further. The 2 pies that we did end up getting tasted like cardboard- definitely not worth $80! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service! I placed an order for 4 pies of pizza, sent someone to pick it up, came back with 2 pizzas, we called to let them know of their mistake, and them blamed me! I made the call in front of people and they heard me say 4 pizzas with the person on the phone agreed to the cheese pizzas and then the vegetable pizzas as well.... $80 for 2 pizzas that I could easily get for $25 maximum each at any other small business? In my opinion, this is some of the best pizza I have ever had in my life. I worked in Manhattan for several years and never found pizza that was quite as good as Carlo's. When I moved from Port Washington to Roslyn, I was pleased to discover that this location was just as good as Carlo's original location in Port Washington. The pizza is always very fresh and they offer a variety of specialty slices. Moreover, the staff is so friendly and always remembers you if you are a regular, offering a warm greeting which is nice. The sicilian slice tasted like pizza hut which is not too bad but the plain slice had that burn grill taste on the bottom.

Ok so I freely acknowledge that I am loyal to Carlos in Port Washington. However have went 2 times now for regular slice - was ok -(can't compare to the Port Wash location ) , meatball slice -was really great according to my 12 ur old son) and the BBQ slice was also pretty good. Garlic knots -were hot, fresh, cooked well and had good amount of garlic. Plan to come back and try some more. read more

Poor customer service. We ordered a pizza and we were told it would take 40 minuets for delivery, however, pizza arrived an hour & 30 minuets after being ordered. Pizza was luke warm.
