I finally found my pizza spot in Long Island for slices! I've been searching for a replacement for Dani's in new garden ever since I moved, and this place absolutely delivers. A regular cheese slice can't compare but their specialty slices are next level!! My favorites are the upside down slice, the upside down al vodka, and the MVP, which is to die for. The MVP is a specialty slive with pesto, marinara, and vodka sauce, and the flavor combo is unreal. I even brought my 10-month-old son here to try his first slice, and he loved it. This restaurant is like any other NY pizzeria where you can order your slices and choose to sit in their small seating area or take it to go. The restaurant is clean and the staff is generally nice. Crust was thin and crispy. There was a bit more oil than usual which made the pizza soft in the beginning and middle. Overall, I would rate this slice an 8.7/10. Specialty slice: For my specialty slice, I ordered a Vodka Slice. Just looking at it, you would not be able to tell how much sauce the slice was holding because it was all under the cheese. I asked the server if there was meat in the sauce and he said no but after eating it, I suspecting that there was some kind of meat in it, so I felt a little uneasy fininshing it. There was also a lot more oil on the slice, making it more greasy than I prefer. Overall, I would rate this slice a 6/10. The service is pretty much like any NYC pizzeria; you order and pay at the counter, they heat up the food, and when it's ready, you get up and grab it from them. That being said, the staff has always been very friendly, so no complaints there. The decor is nothing fancy. It's a very standard restaurant, and it appears very clean. Then there's the food. The first time I went I had one slice of pepperoni, and one of the Grandma Pie (apparently this is a Long Island staple that I just learned about). OMG!!! The Grandma Pie is delicious!!! Literally my new fav pizza! I tried Grandma pizza at a couple of other places and they're nowhere near as good as Frantoni's! The last time I went, I ordered two slices to eat there and two more to bring home. In fact, the woman in front of me online said; "I'll have two Grandma slices. Hard to give a positive review to a place that's absolutely murdering customers with insanely inflated prices. Yeah yeah we get it, the price of everything has gone up but let's put this in perspective: They're charging more than places in Manhattan and paying nowhere near those NYC rents. I think I paid $18 for a cheesesteak and trust me, it was nothing to write home about. I could literally drive to and from Philly in my Tesla and get TWO CHEESESTEAKS and still come out ahead and those cheesesteaks would be 10x better than what you get here. Based on flavors, I would give 5 star for the pizza and 3.5 star for the garlic knots and sauce. Original price is reasonable, even better with coupons. After shopping at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park Sunday night, my husband had a pizza craving so I suggested to come here to try their pizza out since it was only 5 minutes away from home. There is plenty of parking because it is located in a residential neighborhood so that is always a great thing. Service was excellent with the staff always being friendly, patient and accommodating to all our questions about the (25+) different types of pizza they had available. Wow :o Another great thing was, there is plenty of seating so you won't feel cramped and crowded or take-out is always an option. Pricing is very cheap, which was surprising due to the location being in a fairly expensive part of Long Island. We had 2 cheese slices, 1 upside down Sicilian, a pepperoni stick and an order of garlic knots for less than $12. I'm working in the area and one of my co workers comes here, all the time. Stopped in around noon-ish. The place had a good amount of people and it has enough seats to fit everyone comfortably. I ordered a slice of Margherita, it looked really fresh and that sauce with chunks of tomatoes was calling my name! I couldn't wait till I arrived at the office, I sat in my car and ate. The sauce has a wonderful flavor to it!! The crust was not too thick. It didn't have a "greasy" taste, like some pizzas do. I will be returning, in fact, on my way home to pick up another slice. I'm going to make a trip here again and find out what other dishes they have. The parking situation is a little rough, in this area but, it's worth it!! PS. Got a chicken calzone, a slice of pizza, and fried calamari on a Sunday afternoon. Ate all these items and got the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced. On top of that, my brother called the restaurant to inform them of the food poisoning we both experienced, as a courtesy call. The restaurant provided VERY minimal comfort over the phone -- whether that be asking any additional questions that could be helpful to prevent this in the future or any type of compensation for what we endured from the food. This was quite the shock as we are recurring guests to this establishment for many years now, living in the area. I just hope no one else will get sick from the food we ate. We've seen the green Frantoni's truck delivering in our neighborhood and decided to try their Family meal takeout. It was delicious. We ordered the Chicken Francaise so tender and tasty. The penne in vodka sauce was really good with a good amount of sauce in both the pasta and chicken. We have ordered similar family takeout meals from other restaurants and like this the best, especially with the sauce. And for our salad choice, it was the Caesar. Very good. I purchased some garlic knots with marinara sauce for the road. The garlic knots were ok but the "marinara" was not Marinara sauce at all it taste like it was just tomato sauce. 0o Their sign also advertised cappuccinos and espressos and guess what there's no cappuccinos or expressos... They are one of the pizza places around that actually have decent Gluten free pizza. However, very discouraged that a regular cheese gluten free pizza is $17 and if you want to add any toppings all of a sudden it's double the price. Wanted to add onions, olives and peppers- not even any meat and it would be being $33... so I opted for just the regular cheese. Is this over gauging on prices just in the gluten free pizza cause I doubt the olives are different for gluten free pies versus the regular pies and I doubt I'm getting $16 worth of toppings..... I think the owners need to reevaluate their pricing: I'm always willing to pay more got Gluten free but I think they've gone a little overboard with price gauging..... good pizza but I only order once every two months now..... if they lowered pricing I would definitely order more often. I will say that when I picked up the pie the owner and manager looked into it and said it was a computer error with topping prices. They made it right and it was very much appreciated. Just Awful. Ordered Round got Square. Spaghetti and meatballs Had very little sauce. The pasta was mushy and gray. Ordered sweet roasted peppers on my salad and got some hot peppers that burn my face off and we're so spicy it ruined my salad. When I called up to complain they offered me refund or to remake stuff I chose refund. I guess I called her bluff because they said no credit and offered me only 30% Against a future meal. Regular pie is usually good. Chicken parmigiana dinner had rubbery chicken. They often make mistakes or forget things with your order.

I love this place so much. I've been eating here for the past decade, and they always do a fantastic job. Most recently, I tried their goat cheese salad and added some grilled chicken. The portion size on the large salad was impressive and the greens were fresh, the grilled chicken was nicely spiced and it came with lemon wedges. One of my fave places. read more
