On our way to the airport, we stopped to get a quick breakfast. We went through the drive through. We ordered 2 steak and egg burritos, 1 biscuits and gravy and 1 order of hash rounds and 3 ice coffees. By the way, we were the only customers. When given our food, we had to ask for straws. Then he handed us the bag. We should have checked the order while we were at the window, but since we were the only ones there, we didn't. The gravy was ICE cold, the burritos hardly had anything in them, no hash rounds and no fork to eat the biscuits. This wasn't my first visit, but it definitely was my last! read more

Sat at the speaker for about 5 minutes could hear talking but no one acknowledged I was there ended up pulling up to the window after the lane was empty. As a vegetarian, I appreciate any restaurant having a vegetarian option. The beyond burger from Carl's Jr. is great at every Carl's Jr.. the Beyond burger at this Carl's Jr. is amazing. I believe they really grill the patty where other locations I feel they may put the imitation meat on the griddle, which as a vegetarian something like that makes a big difference. My beyond burger is always set perfectly with the exact same condiments as a famous star. The ambience is clean. The customer care is beautifully kind. read more

Service has gone downhill in recent months. The counter staff are less attentive than they used to be. The store is not completely clean, with some left-over trash and smears on the tables and drink areas. The "background" music is loud and is really "foreground" music. A few weeks ago I came in on a Sunday morning for breakfast, but there was loud rap music playing so I walked out without buying anything. Our order was wrong 3 times tonight, yes,you heard right. Three times! Even then, when we got home, it still was not right. Go inside to order so you might get closer to getting it right! Then, the burgers had over 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise each. The one with a bun was soggy. I love mayonnaise, but there is a limit. The crosscut fries were half full. The food is really good, when they get your order right. I would say they get your order right about 70% of the time. After a few times of getting home just to realize something was messed up you'd think I would learn to check the bag before driving off. On the plus side those mistakes have led me to try other menu items which I also like. Breakfast starts at 5 AM, so if your day starts before that, then hopefully you're ok with having a burger for breakfast. read more

I wouldnt recommend eating at Carl's Jr. New management doesnt know how to properly train staff and their produce shipment appears weeks old. The staff will continue to give out moldy lettuce, tomatoes, and expired food to customers. It appears the old employees that made Carl Jr excellent has left. You can easily tell that the old management system has left. The old management system cared about their employees and customers. Their food and service only keeps getting worse. Customers are complaining about food prep, having to wait in drive thru, and employees getting orders wrong. New management appears to be concerned about profit and not about the customers' satisfaction. The reason that management walked out when staff needed assistance. He couldnt run a fast food business properly. Customers need to stop going to this establishment because the new management only cares about making a profit. UThis makes the 3 times i been Carl's jr. in a month. All three (3) service bad..first time waited in drive-thur, no other cars 15 minutes..hamburgers cold and hard like they been there since lunchtime..we came after 2pm. Last week order off value box deal, worst food cold, drinks water down= another 15 minutes in drive- thur..just left 20 minutes ago today. Order tenders 5pc. What i got was the ends you throw in the trash can..i think they cooking the food for themself( everybody there is 50 pounds overweight) then the customers are getting the hard, cold leftovers from lunch or probably even breakfast. This is the worst fast food restaurant in Alamogordo. They are very rude to all the customers. I was in the drive thru last night and waited 23 minutes for my order and when I got home it was not my order. I went back and the attitude the manager and employees gave me, like it was my fault my order was wrong. The manager told me she only had one employee and herself working, but clearly I saw at least 5 employees working. I asked to have all fresh food as this order was cold by now. Just ordered the chicken bacon Swiss, it's just falling apart. Not put together well, the bread is flimsy and soft. Good amount of bacon though, tastes alright just put together sloppily. read more

Ordered the teriyaki burger combo. I was the only customer in the lobby and waited 16 minutes before I went back to the counter. I saw my order sitting under the hot lamp on a tray. Finally someone came to the front and handed the tray to me. It had been under the lamp so long the plastic tray bent and had to be supported by two hands to get it to my table. My family was so excited that we were getting a Carl's Jr.! Well, that didn't last long. Staff dosen't seem to know or care what they are doing. I have gotten burgers which are not hot more than once. Ordered one, took it back and asked them to microwave it a litte. Came back mushy, lettuce soggy. I was hungry so I ate it. They did refund my money, so free burger. Still, very poor in comparison to Carl's in other states. Grilled fish sandwitch is obviously pre-cooked with phoney "grill" marks, and not so good. I did get a jalepeno turkey burger once that was good. You got to get lucky once in a while I guess. I would say that this Carl's Jr. is, hands down, the best fast food option in Alamogordo. Leaps and bounds above the local Sonic. I personally have not experienced the long wait times that others have mentioned either. All in all, it's pretty good. Decent food, really friendly staff, orders are almost always right. I don't know if it's fair, but my biggest disappointment was trying the new "mile high bacon thickburger." I kind of felt like Homer Simpson in Australia saying "aw, it's pretty big, I guess." There's not really much bacon on it, or cheese, or anything to make it seem special. Get a 6 dollar burger and add bacon instead. You'll get more bacon. The truly great thing about this restaurant is that it's open 24/7! There's actually a place here to stop late at night and grab something! Now, to be 100% honest, if you want a better burger, go next door to BWW, but if you want fast food drive through, then this is your place. read more

I was really excited when I found out that Carls Jr. was moving in. I had eaten at them out in So. Calif. and they were really good. This one was kind of okay when it first opened - the service was really slow. But now the place is just filthy - it's dirty inside and the parking lot always has trash, leaves and they never steam the parking lot. And the food is yuk. We got a grass fed burger when they came out and we all got sick - it tasted strange. The people that work there are trying (very high employee turnover) but I think that the management is HORRIBLE for this restaurant to be this bad. The service was so slow, we were ready to leave when it finally came out - wrong (second time this has happened).
