We have been there several times over the last few years, sometimes good sometimes just okay. We went the other day with some friends, I had chicken fried steak, one had the Alfredo pizza, one the Hawaiian pizza, one had the Veggie pizza, and I don't remember what than other guest had. My chicken fried steak was horrible, probably the worst I have ever had, never had a chicken fried steak that was chewy before, the three that had the pizza's were not very happy either with one saying theirs had no flavor. The desserts were good but I believe they were a prepackaged frozen dessert from a supplier, I could be wrong on that. It will more than likely be the last time we go there. read more

Had a great experience at Pizza Patio! The hostess made it a point to not sit us by the door since it was a really cold day. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Pizza came out hot and with a beautiful cheese pull! For my gluten free friend they had a pizza on gluten free crust and she said it was really good! (Submitted by my 9yr old son): When we were going on our spring break trip, it was almost night so we went to LesCombs to get dinner but they had a long wait. When we heard that they had a long wait the hostess was super helpful to refer us to Pizza Patio so we went there. When we got there and sat down the waitress Tina who was very nice and super friendly gave us a bigger pizza for the same price because we were going to order to separate small pizzas. She gave great recommendations on what food for me to eat and at the end of our visit at Pizza Patio she gave us a lot of time to eat even though they were closing. Solid gluten free pizza and our server was great. We sat on the patio as the inside dining has super dark lighting. I would agree that this locations best menu items are the pizzas. The French dip sandwich was just okay, but the pizza was really good. Overall a good feel and a nice stop for lunch. They unfortunately have a 3.5% credit card fee so we paid in cash. read more

Wow! Hidden gem. Amazing food and service. We went for a school field trip and EVERYONE loved what they ordered. Highly recommend.

On line order. I was told it pick up in 25 minutes and to call from parking lot when I arrived and the order would be brought out. Arrived closer to 30 minutes and when I call I was told it would be out as soon as she found it. After 15 minute ii went in. Waited for.spmeone and asked about order. The woman wandered off. And came back and bagged another order while I watched mine sitting on the counter waiting. Another staff member pointed out the order and she acted surprised it was there. Finally got rang up and. Left with my cold pizza and. 2 breadsticks. The restaurant was not busy. 3 occupied tables and 1 person at bar. At least 5 employees in site read more

I like this place for groups because you can order multiple 8 inch pies and get a variety. The pizza is good. The service is decent. We always end up waiting - I think they are short staffed. But again, the pizza is good. The other pizza spot is Pizza Mill, but that is a different breed of pizza (read my review there). I'm a 110% pizza snob coming from NJ. So this pizza is good. Not the best, but considering being in Alamogordo - It's good. Again, if you go with a group order multiple 8 inch pizzas so you can try a variety. I think my problem with the menu is there isn't much of a difference between the pizzas. A lot of the pizzas are overloaded with toppings that they all almost sound like the same pizza with the exception of 1 or 2 ingredients. The patio is pretty, but if the flies annoy you then indoors is very comfortable. I enjoyed our meal here. read more

total rip off... asked if we wanted ranch and marina sauch for our cheese sticks , charged extra without telling us asked if we wanted ranch to go with our pizza , brought out 4 small side cups of ranch charged 90 cents each. did not say it cost extra didn't even say I wanted 4... payed $50 for cheese sticks and a pizza . no drinks just water... they brought a machine out for us to pay i guess they assumed I wanted to charge it, unfortunately I did and was charger a couple dollars more for using a credit card which was not mentioned by the server. bottom line is I felt scammed because of the lack of transparency with this place.. be careful that they don't screw you too... won't be going back again and will make sure everyone in town knows why read more

EAT HERE WHEN IN ALAMOGORDO, NM! I can say this because we spent 4 days in the town and tried a number of places before being told to try here. Seriously. They have everything you could ever want: great food, service and a great patio! So much of Alamogordo doesn't have a liquor license but here you can get a relaxing wine or a beer with your meal. It might be called Pizza Patio but they have such a wide array of foods on the menu; salads, pastas, sandwiches and calzones all at a great price. Basically something for everyone. Appetizer recommend: GET THE FRESH GUAC AND CHIPS! I am from AZ and seriously this is the best guacamole I have ever had. Of course they are known for their pizzas so my friends got the Classic Pepperoni and I am told it did not disappoint. They are open Tues-Sat 11-8pm so get in before they close! Great atmosphere, especially considering the local town. Plenty of beer selections on tap. The pizza there is delicious, the other food is not as good, but it is a pizza restaurant, so what do you expect? The wait staff is always friendly, sometimes a little distracted when they're busy, but that's to be expected. The people who complain about this restaurant have unrealistic expectations. It's one of our favorite restaurants in town, it's never as busy as Chili's or Carino's. I would certainly recommend it. read more

We are in town and staying in a motel and ordered food to go from this restaurant. She took my order over the phone and was very helpful answering my questions. We ordered the Italian salad with ranch and the 8 inch Alfredo chicken pizza. The food was ready on time and the pizza was hot when we got back to our room. We really enjoyed the salad but the pizza was maybe the best Alfredo sauce ever on a pizza. If your in town and don't try this place, your cheating yourself. read more

They were nice when we got there. They say us down and never came to take out order or ask what we want to drink. People left and tables were getting cleaned, while two other tables were sat. They received their drinks and when their food came out, we left. We were the only mixed race out of the other tables (dark hair and skin). They just completely ignored us and wasted a good 20 minutes just sitting there. They made us feel neglected and unwanted. My 3 year old son couldn't understand why we were treated that why. Great outdoor seating area. Indoor is a bit dark and gloomy unless you are a perv needing poor lighting. Would be nice to see them get more lighting inside - just a skylight would do wonders. Food and service wise, great pizza, good service, cold drinks, good price. read more

Outstanding beer selection - the pecan is a great surprise find! Pizza is amazing, great chewy crust with a perfect balance of cheese and toppings. Guacamole was very tasty too. Staff is friendly and service oriented. We hung out to finish our beer, and were very comfortable. The patio is lovey and has shade or sun as the day calls for, and the inside is comfortable. This is my favorite local pizza place. I usually prefer deep dish and theirs is a more hand tossed type but I really enjoy their crust flavor. The whole-nine-yards is a supreme type pizza with some extra meats on it and is so good. Definitely recommend it, they don't skimp on the cheese either. The calamari appetizer was a miss, I'd go with mozzarella sticks instead. They do have an actual patio (hence the name) but we ate inside because I was unable to convince them my dog was a service dog, despite my telling him to act professional. But when someone finally answered after my call, after 3rd attempt, I was trying to order and the person I am trying to give my order to keeps allowing people to cut me off and her attention was not on taking my order it was answering their questions they were asking WHILE I was ordering instead of telling them to hold on while she finished taking my order. I get stuck here for business luncheons sometimes. High points: Nice Italian food in a small town otherwise devoid of it. Several specialty beers on tap. Low points: The food is a game of roulette as it runs from just fair to awesome. The experience with the wait staff is random too as sometimes they're frustrated and blowing off steam in front of the patrons and sometimes they are pleasant and attentive. Had eaten here once before when I came into town on business. Had a very pleasant experience that time. Then last week I happened to be back in Alamo and wanted to try these guys again. Give them my business. Well I placed a to-go order over the phone. Was simple enough. Then had to go pay for and pick it up. Got there and my order was not ready yet. I was understanding and took a seat to wait. A few minutes later, a server came out and told me they were out of part of my order and asked if I wanted something else. I said I would just get the pasta without one of the toppings. Again, tried to be understanding. Wait a few more minutes and then the order was ready. Paid up and headed out. Got back to where I was staying and tore into my food. It tasted good, going down. Yay. More delicious food from them. Then a couple hrs later that night, it started. Almost certain I got food poisoning. No.... Was very disappointing. Anyway, next time I am in Alamogordo, I might avoid going back here. A shame. I understand that it's your personal choice whether or not you get vaccinated, but it's extremely unprofessional to disclose this information AND goes against CDC guidelines and mandates.
