We were told to sit anywhere and a server soon came with menus and took drink orders. She was all dressed up for the holidays with cute little floppy reindeer antlers on her head and an apron with snowmen on it. My wife was in the mood for eggs as we had skipped breakfast so she had an omelet, hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast. It was perfect and she enjoyed every bite. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of their sweet potato fries which were crispy and hot from the fryer. The place is cute inside, lots of cute things on the walls like old photos, signs and even a big Santa Clause for the holidays. What's more I used the men's room and it was super clean which always tells me how good a restaurant is and that they most likely keep a clean kitchen! We would dine here regularly if we lived here, the food was that good!

The enchiladas were decent. I felt like the green sauce was a little light and runny but the chicken was soft and shredded well. A generous spread of flavorful powdered cinnamon topped it off. I consider this roll a thoroughly enjoyable treat. The cafe has a great coffee house ambiance. Good music playing softly. Books to read. Comfy couch. A big board where locals can post their wares and businesses, so it has a good community feel. There's kid art for us to enjoy, and a place for kids to play. How great is that, parents? All the patrons seemed happy coming in and going out. I will be back.

As a traveler from out of state accompanied by two trained service dogs, I was shocked by the…read moretreatment we received at Winary Bistro. The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.

I'd have to spit it out and I made a little pile of meat and just finally quit eating it. I asked if they could help out on the bill since I didn't need it and they gave me a generous 10%. My reply was, well it's the last time you'll ever see me. I had to order a waffle so I could leave there at least four and not have to go to a 2nd place. Took about $32 to get a burrito and a waffle. The bacon is usually raw, the hashbrowns are never browned...... I don't have. I'll stay in business serving the crap that I got today.
