Long story, short, i order a bbq beyond burger no cheese no onion rings meal with a sprite. I got a classic beyond with Mayo and tomatoes (meaning i can't eat the burger,) Powerade, and no fries... how is it even possible to screw up this bad? The only reason I come here is because the food court at costco is crazy busy. I've been to this location a couple of times. But only went thru the drive thru. The drive thru is a little tight, so dont scratch up your wheels. Service has been ok. Okay I just wanna say this Carl's Jr. saved me and my friend's life yesterday night. We had such a horrible experience in Malibu and our dinner reservations got all screwed up. It was getting later and later so we decided to just get food on the way home. Things started to close so we stopped at this Carl's Jr. and had the best damn meal we've ever had. Everything was so fresh. The fries were divine. The chicken stars were the perfect star shaped. Can I give -1 stars? What a horrible place! I visited yesterday. I walked in. There was a gentleman ordering. The cashier was slow and answering a bunch of questions. No problem. When he finished the mans oder, the cashier sauntered to the soda machine and filled a cup of ice for the mans thermos. Then he filled a second cup. The , instead of taking my order, he wandered into the back. Someone else finally came by and took my order. The first cashier wandered back to the soda machine to fill my drink. He was putting in too much ice so I asked for less ice. I looked at me, said nothing, filled that cup with soda, and handed it to me. I asked Him to make a new one with less ice and he rudely yelled at me that I hadn't asked for light ice. I told him I said that and he looked at me and proceeded to but fox it and now this is his problem. He told me I was a B! In afraid that I should have checked the reviews first. Ordered a burger and a milkshake at the drive through. Accepted the "new" burger suggested as bacon sounded good. The girl on the other end asked if I wanted a single, double or triple. I ordered double burger. While I was somewhat taken aback that a burger and a shake would cost over $12, I paid, took my shake and the bag containing my burger from the young man at the window. Now back in my office I opened the bag to find a rather wet burger with only one beef patty instead of the double burger I had expected. This is now the third different location of the Carl's Jr. Franchise that has failed to deliver the food as ordered, and as paid for. Someone should file a class action lawsuit against this chain for cheating its customers through poor training and lousy quality control. I placed a special order burger (bacon guacamole burger but as a lettuce instead of bun). When I got home, i opened the wrap and there was only a slice of tomato, unmelted slice of cheese, and a dinky (not 1/3 lb.) patty in the lettuce, but they charged me for the bacon guacamole. When I called them to let them know, their phone went to an answering machine. I left a message several time, but no one called me back. I thought I would give them one more chance when my child wanted a Western Bacon burger; it was completely the wrong burger. I gave up on this location. Horrible!! I ordered a custom double 1/3 original six dollar burger on 02/27/2020 are approximately 1:00AM. I asked for no pickles and lettuce wrapped so the lady in the register said it didn't come with it but I know for a fact it does but I just said ok. When I received the order I went back to work and noticed there was only one patty and it had pickles when took a few bites. I drove back to the drive thru and told them that it was wrong to the same cashier and she told me that it was not possible because they made it exactly how I ordered it. I went forward to the window to show her the receipt and I had brought my burger with me she took both to revise it. The cook came to the front and was questioning what was wrong with it with an attitude. I told them if they could fix it and to not add pickles to it and they pressured to try to fix my order. I would not have written a bad review or anything but the only reason I am is because when I came back to work noticed it was the same burger I had but the difference was it had either patty. What I mean by it is it was the same burger I handed them. The reason I noticed was because I opened the burger up and it had the same bite marks I made previously and it had the pickles still. Now my burger is half cold and half warm and it is completely sawgy because of the old lettuce and tomatoes. I can't put a complaint on the receipt because they never gave it back!! read more

I do NOT recommend this place. First time I ordered a large meal with a large Sprite and what I got was a large cup full of ice and almost no drink. Second time the lady asked me if I wanted ketchup or Ranch, I said Ranch please and all I got was 4 packs of ketchup. This all happened by going drive through. This place is a ripoff, I stopped there on my way home to get dinner for the family. I ordered cheeseburger kids meals with chocolate milk. Sign says $3.88 while I realize cheese is extra, I was charged $5.88 per meal ( sign also says now avail with white or choc milk) was told choc milk extra. Plus guy behind counter missed one burger I ordered which was whole reason we went there. Manager was totally rude when I ask for corporate number she practically threw card at me. Plus the western bacon we did get had old hard bacon on it probably left over from morning crew and barely enough sauce to cover the bun. They made it out to look like a classic diner with high tops and a few booths and tables. Food was like any other fast food place. My coffee was hot and fresh. My meal was properly prepared. Senior coffee discount was exceptional. 39 cents for coffee. I arrived at 11:20AM on a Friday and the place was pretty empty. Since this location is close to my annual trek to the area, I plan to return next year. read more
