I observed an employee wearing a green shirt deliver food to a car outside while wearing plastic food gloves. The employee then used those same gloves to open the exterior door, returned inside, and continued handling food without changing them. I watched the employee package fries, placing the same gloved hands over the fries while filling bags for customers. When I asked to use the restroom, the employee used those same gloves to enter the restroom code and open the restroom door for me. After that, the employee immediately returned to handling food with the same pair of gloves. Gloves are only effective when they are changed after touching non-food surfaces. Watching the same gloves touch doors, keypads, and then food made me lose confidence in the restaurant's food safety practices, so I decided to leave without placing my order. I hope management addresses employee glove-use and food safety training.
