On a road trip from Az to Ca stopped in after getting fuel. It was literally warmer outside than inside restaurant. The employees were freezing too. I asked why, said the management keeps it this way because they have tried to get ac/heating fixed a number of times....at the time I was there it registered at 56 degrees. Apparently it gets more cold as night comes at closing and bitter cold in the morning. Seriously! Take care of your customers and what matters most is taking good care of your employees! Come here for breakfast and we went to go inside to order. The doors where locked with a number that you have to call to place your order. Fine and dandy if you have a phone. There was an older person there that did Not have a phone. He said he Knocked on the door and the Lady inside was rude and told him to call the number. I let him use my phone to place is order. I've been to this location twice. The first time during breakfast hours because I was running late and assumed it would be fast... you know, since it's "fast food". I went inside, it took FOREVER. I waited 25 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. Not only was the service slow, the manager was running around like a chicken with her head cut off yelling at her employees in front of customers. Ok, this really pisses me off. not only the occurance, but the attitude of the staff too. I was there with my 85 year old father on a Saturday just before 11:00am and we ordered our usual ( we frequent this location at least twice a month). My dad ordered a Sante Fe chicken sandwich and when it arrived...late I might add...the chicken patty was undercooked. I took it back to the front counter and spoke to "The Manager" (BTW, Carl's Jr employees here dont wear badges or give you a receipt either) and stated the sandwich was undercooked, she stated "Oh, you want it well done"? while tossing it right in the trash with a bit of an attitude. I asked her if she was aware in regards to the dangers of undercooked chicken. She said "Yes, I do". I then asked if she was the manager due to her managerial appearance and she replied she was. I shot back "Doesn't seem like it to me". The replacement sandwich came out 2 minutes later and took it back to my father. He ate about 1/4 of it and stated it was lousy and threw it away. My Western Bacon Cheeseburger was loaded down with BBQ sauce and the patty tasted a bit old. It too, sucked. We left and vowed never to come back. Bottom line, Carl's Jr as a brand has gone downhill for several years. The food quality sucks, the prices are high and the employees DON'T CARE. My biggest pet peeve about coming here, or most Carl's Jr's for that matter, which is TYPICAL of most Carl's Jr's. When you dine-in and approach the counter, the employees usually greet you and then jet to the drive-thru area and assimilate to what the other 2-3 drive-thru employees are doing...then gradually saunter back to the front counter where patrons have been waiting for several minutes. This is the most common M.O. for Carl's Jr... how many idiots does it take to screw in a light bulb for god sakes?!?!? This isn't the only Carl's Jr I've had bad experiences with, this one took the cake. There are other competitors that offer a better product and a better price. They're not the only game in town. Drive thru open late, but they usually have you pull around so you don't clog up the drive thru. I'm not a huge fan, but my pregnant wife needs burgers at weird times, so it helps. read more

I was just reminded why I said wouldn't go to this location again, I'm guessing the manager (could not tell she was not in uniform and had no name tag) was yelling at the other employee about putting in over time and how much it costed the company that whole hour she stayed over, in my opinion that should have been handled behind closed doors and not in front of customers and other employees. One of the worst places to go to in the city of Beaumont. Management would rather be friends with their shift leaders than actual professional bosses. The shift leader on duty in the morning looked to be half asleep and ignoring costumers requests. I went to grab some ketchup from the dispensing ketchup contraption and the ketchup came out very watery. I smelled it and it smelled horrible. I went to the shift leader and told her and she ignored me. I told her again and she said ok. I sat and watched her for 45 minutes and she didn't check my complaint at all. I was getting upset because other patrons could have gotten really sick from this. All of a sudden the manager comes in around 9:00 a.m and I walk straight to her and tell her what had happened. She just responded by saying ok. And said some sh#t in Spanish. And they both just looked at me. So I stood next to the ketchup dispenser for 15 minutes and told patrons not to get any and to ask for ketchup packets instead. The manager than came up to the ketchup dispenser and looked into it and went back to work. Do not go here. I am in contact with corporate as we speak and I know what it's like working in fast food and I know what is expected from management. Pretty good service for what it is - a place to take a break, get quick food, and then move on. I stopped here for lunch on a Monday and I narrowly beat a large group of about 20. They seemed to get processed through fairly well and everyone seemed content with their food, even though the wait was a little slow from the moment they walked in the door until they got their food. I was bored and timed it, and found it to be about an 8 minute average. As for my lunch (a chicken salad) it was fresh and tender, and even though the lady who served me didn't smile she was efficient. I did come across a bite of shredded carrot that tastes the way that moldy bread smells, but all in all it was a decent meal. If there had been more urgency in the employees' movements and a smile or two I'd give it 4 stars. They're short the 5 star rank because the bathroom was dirty when I walked in at 11:30 am. read more

Came here yesterday with my daughter & husband, one of the workers named Cynthia was very welcoming, & kind when helping us. She was helping me decide on which menu items I should get, & was very patient & observant. I over heard her telling another employee that 3 people called off & two people didn't show up, & yet she was doing everything amazingly. UPDATE: 6/30/18 My order was messed up again and yes, no receipt...I should have known not to leave without it. Tried to be very precise...even made very sure the order displayed correctly on the computer screen in the drive through. Got home and this time they left off my chocolate cake desert. I was given a fork, however. Called the store...it rang and rang. Tried calling corporate with my complaint...not open. I did send them a negative comment form. Tried calling the store again. The lady had difficulty speaking English...best as I could understand I was offered to come get it. Not good enough. Most places will comp the whole order when a mistake is made. I'll see what happens on Monday when I try to call in my complaint. Once again, my drive through order here came out incorrectly. Only fast food place around here that seems to be on the ball is Farmer Boys. I ordered the low-carb burger combo. I didn't receive it in the drive through lane, I had to wait additional time and it was late afternoon, not busy. I didn't receive a receipt. [ ETA: I FOUND THE RECEIPT AFTER ALL, and came back to share that the young man who took the order seemed to be attentive. The order was correct as printed on the receipt...so he was accurate in listening to me. Things must have gone awry in the kitchen.] Upon opening up my meal at home, it wasn't a low carb burger, rather it was in a bun. They wouldn't answer the phone, so I called corporate and reported it to someone there.
