The banana creame pie waffle was a big hit with me. Another tasty treat being the Sunshine; with lemon, raspberries, and house-made whipped cream. Excellent waffles! Just takes too long. I had the Breakfast Sammy. I was superb! The waffle itself was a perfect lightly crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. Great combination of flavors. I can't wait to try their other waffles. They have only a couple of waffle irons, if I remember right. I was there at around 9:30p so there wasn't much of a crowd, about 8 in front of me. It took about 15 - 20 minutes to get my order. Seems like if you are in the waffle business, you should have plenty of waffle irons. There were three employees there, with enough irons, you should be able to crank them out faster. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has ample tables and you can move them around for a group. I wouldn't call it a cozy place, but it was sufficient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers are very friendly. There is a nice story on the wall on how they came to be. Because the food is really good, I'll return. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. Almost a complete disappointment. Not sure if maybe one of the other locations might be better but I ordered the breakfast Sammy and a pressed apple juice. The breakfast Sammy was hard to eat and I ended up trying to add some syrup to it to jazz it up. It didn't help. The bacon was tough, waffle this weird flaky limp waffle of a thing and whatever their sauce is they adorn said waffle is...they should leave it off. Got here at 1:30pm for lunch with my family and while everyone in the staff was busy in the back goofing off, they weren't too slow to take our order but almost all of the napkin dispensers had about 2-3 napkins in them, the ice machine was never turned on until we asked for ice, and half of fountain drinks were just soda water. Always looking for something different and since work brought me to this area I thought chicken and waffles sounded really good. The chicken was nice and crispy yet not greasy. My preference would have been for a little more seasoning on the chicken. It just didn't seem like it had much of any on it. The crunch of the batter though made up for it and the chicken was Juicy. The special sauce was ok but just seemed to be like everyone else's special sauce. Then we get to the waffle! It was light and fluffy and had a touch of sweetness to it before adding any syrup. After trying both separately I combined them. The crispy chicken and the fluffy waffle were a match made in heaven. Then you drizzle the light and buttery syrup over the top. Once we're avid waffle love consumers. Before they had store fronts I would track their food truck just to get a fix. I'm sad to say their waffles just aren't what they used to be. An ideal waffle has a crunch at every bite of the border, theirs was stodgy and bordering on stale in flavor. One of us got the chicken sando which had the same lack of crunch.
