My family and I stopped into Carl's Jr. for dinner last night for the first time in a while. This Carl's Jr. location is on Marconi Ave near Panda Express and Felafel Corner. We ordered a Kids Chicken Stars meal, a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a Super Star meal. The total amount was under $30 which is actually cheap for a fast food order lately. Everything came out correctly and as expected. My go-to order is usually a Western Bacon Cheeseburger, but I opted out for something healthier this time - I will have to order one next time to see how it tastes at this location! Overall, staff were friendly, but I cannot comment on the ambiance as we ordered at the drive-thru. Ordered the Western burger combo. Buns taste old, the onion rings were soggy and undercooked and the patty barely warm. The fries were soggy and stale like they were hours long precooks under a heat lamp. One soda machine had no carbonation in it and was only spitting out syrup, and the $20hrs employee look at me like how dare you when I made her aware of it. read more

It's almost 3 hours until closing time, and all the outside lights are off. That included the drive through lights. Obviously, I know they are still open. So, I ordered my multiple items that I had memorized from the menu. Otherwise, I would have ordered nothing, since I couldn't see the menu. I almost decided to never dine back here after sunset again. The only thing that stopped me, a regular Carl's Jr customer, from going next door to the other restaurant from now on is the cashier in the drive through window being so professional and so kind to me. She completely changed my mood and kept me as a loyal customer. The food was good, thankfully. I'm happy for whoever was on grill tonight. The milkshake the cashier made was very good, too. And, she was great at asking me exactly how I wanted everything or anything extra in a quick and kind way. I wouldn't be surprised if she makes it into management one day. Well done to whoever hired her. Seriously. Smart job on which people you hire. They are the only reason I didn't choose to take my consistent business elsewhere. I'm going to start off by saying this place of business hasn't had a review for a while which gives time for improvement. They're service was fast and efficient. Food was fresh and very good. Order was completely correct. I think they took all those bad reviews to heart because I see a very big improvement! Marconi is never a fun street to be on but considering they're is high traffic, I think you should give them another shot. read more

I love me some Carl's Jr, but the Marconi location is shady. I've had two weird incidents at this location: the first one was the place looked deserted. I went to the drive-thru and there was no greeting from the speaker. I waited for a few minutes and nothing. As I drove by the window, no activity. The second incident was similar, but got a greeting from a woman and basically shooed me away because she told me they did not enough staff that day. Luckily, McDonald's is right next door. Although this Carl's Jr is closest to me, I guess I have to drive to either their Watt or Fulton location. read more

This place has gone down hill I have been by two times now at 11am and once at 10am they have people inside working however been told that they are closed because they are prepping food and or not ready. Kind you they serve breakfast and open earlier in the morning?!? So what's happening? I hope the owner sees this and realizes that's where revenue losses are coming from! This might be the WORST fast food location that I've ever been to, and there's a Burger King in town that basically has a homeless camp in the parking lot. No fountain drinks available. No milkshakes. Cold burgers. Raw french fries. Nobody that can work the grill. WHY ARE YOU EVEN OPEN?! I came here a few weeks ago and the power was out to just THEIR building. Last time I was here (when they were actually serving food for once) the girl working the drive-thru didn't know how to ADD something to an order at the window, or else she just didn't want to. You do know that you have 3 fast food chains RIGHT NEXT DOOR to you, right? MANAGEMENT: You need to PAY PEOPLE BETTER to attract and retain competent and skilled staff. PERIOD. Ridiculously slow. Got to the speaker in the drive-through and was told to wait. Literally over five minutes go by and I spoke up and he says go ahead. Get to the window and the little high school dropout wannbe has his mask around his chin and mouth but not his nose. 10 minutes later he brings me my food and just hands it through the window without saying a word. There was only one car in the drive-through when I got there and not a single customer inside. And the food was not hot when I got it. No excuse. Horrible. Will never go back there. It is on a large bun, has a super thin burger, two pieces of super thin bacon, cold slice of onion, cold slice of tomato, cold pickles, and wrapped in two huge pieces of cold lettuce with cold quacamole smeared over the whole thing. What a mess it was with the cheese slopped over the side, and the burger sliding out of the bun with a small single white lumpy piece of lettuce. On 1/20/22 I made a simple order with two meals and two alacarte items. The meals both had a small drink and small fry. After a super long wait I was handed my bag and I left. Shoulda known and checked. There were a total of six loose fries, I was missing the jalapeño poppers and the spicy chicken was cold and ONLY a thin chicke Patti on a bun with nothing else. Car at the speaker was there for 10 minutes as the line of cars stacked up thru the parking lot out to the street like IN-N-OUT Burger!
