I ordered on the app which was easy. I ordered the California Classic Double Cheeseburger and it was nothing to write home about. It was flat and just looked sad. I like my food visually appealing and it failed miserably. The restaurant however was very clean, the bathroom was also clean. The staff was a little rude. I'm ok with them speaking Spanish but not when they're talking about the customer and don't know I speak Spanish too. First of all you need to schedule the correct anoint of crewmembers on a Sunday. I was in line waiting for my food for 25 minutes!! It was cold and the packaging bag was all wrinkled. The boy attending us stated that the manager did not schedule enough employees to cover a Sunday afternoon. I'm So very disappointed!! read more

I would rate zero stars if I could especially after my experience this morning. I simply ordered a B.Y.O.B online at 5:32am so I can pick it up before my morning shift 6:00am which they made me late to, I got hassled for about 10-12 minutes sitting in the drive thru trying to get my order I paid for. I had proof of my purchase with the email receipt sent to me which I will attach to this review and the lady at the window kept denying it and telling me it's not showing up on their end and making up a bunch of excuses such as maybe I was at the wrong location, or my card didn't get charged, and to call support and order it again but why would I order it again when I already got charged in my bank statement and I had literal proof of my order with all the details including the location. She kept trying to make me park in the front but i already knew it was so she can clear her drive thru and didn't care one bit about my order and why would I park when she didn't even know what I ordered even after looking clearly at my phone and everything then the cook came up and said the same thing about me having the wrong location maybe and i didn't I'm not sure what they were looking at with my phone but somehow kept missing that store on the receipt matched the address I was at. She also kept denying taking my phone inside just to look at my order and prepare it even though she already taken it in the last couple times I showed her the receipt I just didn't get it at all and instead I had to yell from my car window what I had and they finally decided to just make it for me. Carl's Jr is good I definitely won't be going back to that location even though it is the closest and convenient for me I refuse to have to go through this just to get an order I paid for and they didn't even really care or want to help I thought I'm surprised they even made my food the way I was getting treated like I was a liar or something even with all the proof right in their face. I know this location gets a lot of bad reviews, however this is the best Carl's Jr location in Sac (in my opinion). The service is always great and I always get my food in a timely manner. This location has the dumb A.I system at the drive thru when ordering which doesn't listen correctly. Twice I came and both times it did not take my order right, I repeated and it still did not take my simple order correctly - I did not customize anything either. I would so much rather listen an actual human taking my order that fully understands what I am ordering. Please get rid of this system. A.I is not compatible with our normal human nature of speech. I agree with improvements, making things better for business/corporation needs but when it come to customer service or human interaction no bot can compare. Use bots to be managers and vice presidents, those positions can handle bot interaction without bothering the customer on the daily. I forgot to tell them just meat and cheese, so when it got to me, I was very frustrated (with myself). I told the guy who delivered it what happened. I took it up front and explained what happened. Ok my Mom desperately needed to use the restroom and we ended up eating here anyway. We both had the famous burger combo and my mom wanted coffee instead of her fountain drink. Im actually a little sick right now and the food does not have any flavor to me. I have to say that this place is always packed. It is super busy. My Mom wanted coffee but the canister of coffee was empty. We asked the woman at the counter if they could refill it with coffee, she said she will make sure she makes a new brew. Worst service ever! I ordered a big hamburger combo with only Ketchup and criss cut fries. What I got was a cheeseburger, regular fries and fried zucchini. I didn't order any of that! Went back and while they were sorry and nice about it my hamburger had a very hard, stale bun and my criss cut fries were near cold. This is the second time they've messed up my order. Last time they put cheese on my big carl and I specifically asked for no cheese. After today's total screw up I may never go back. Last two visits to this establishment: Was behind a car at the take out window for 10 minutes waiting for them to move on. The window attendant should have had them park and wait for the food. I received cold food. Most recent visit, my Santa Fe chicken sandwich had a rock hard bun. The sandwich showed signs of being reheated multiple times. The chicken was dried out. The workers can't seem to measure straw length to the cup being served. Try driving down the road with the cup blocking your view while you are driving. This specific store has consistently been below standards. Unless they shape up, they should be replaced by a company that actually cares about the food they serve. read more

From start to finish this experience was annoying. Don't go late night. Ugh. Ok so first I pull into drive through, and the sprinklers are on too high getting my car wet on both sides. Not to mention it's the middle of winter, raining off and on plus we're in a drought. Is the water even necessary? Next I order and pay and of course with no line, I get asked to pull to the parking lot and they'll bring it out. That's irritating because you're just trying to keep your numbers up while inconveniencing your customers. I checked my bank account today and found a $11.27 receipt for Carls Jr. Knowing that I havent eaten there in quite some time, I called my bank to find that this was a charge for food that I received on February 24th!. Apparently a vendor has 60 days in which to put through the charge for a transaction. Luckily I had the money in my account to cover it but I think it is very bad practice to wait well over a month to process customer transactions. If I hadn't called the bank twice having their representative investigate the situation I would have cancelled my debit credit card and been extremely inconvenienced for nothing. Wont be coming back to this location with my card in the future. Only cash transactions with Carls' Jr. from now on. read more

After a long trip home we decided to get Carl's Jr. I ordered 6 meals in the drive Thru. Paid around $70 so once we got to the front of the store I decided to check my order "didn't even leave the lot" come to see I only got 5 of my six burgers didn't get the kids meal at all so I went to the door to let them know they forgot a few items from my order. For them to tell me I was lying and that the guy I was talking to is the one who bagged my order. He refused to give me the remainder of my order so had to drive to another spot to get more food for my hungry Football players. I now refuses to come to this location. I'm just shocked at what I just seen today at the drive-thru. The car in front of us happened to know the employee Andre (probably a fake name as cover-up). He was a male employee with dreads. They were lallygagging through the speaker box while people are waiting to order and go home after a long day. He didn't want to take our order he started it but gave it to John the next employee. That was really unprofessional and rude. John was nice enough to carry on our order. Thank you. On top of that the other employee was smoking a joint with the customer. They were passing the joint back and forth I mean there's a time and place for this. I'm well aware of the location where they're at. Both the employee and customer were taking up time to fulfill other customer orders. In addition, I had seen the employee didn't have his name tag on while working. It was just a big NO NO.
