The prices are quite high so I'll have to splurge some time on a nice steak. I did notice some items were pretty reasonably priced. For example, I was rather surprised to see they had a very large variety of Temple coffee beans for for $14.99 a bag. That's cheaper than I have seen elsewhere but I didn't pay close attention to the size since I was fully stocked on coffee at the moment. I had to try one of their legendary made to order sandwiches. Someone had recommended The Tuscany. Boy, was that delicious! And the sandwich was very large for $9.99, I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. There are tables outside so I purchased a bottle soda and a sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't think ahead because there are no bottle openers available for customers to use so I was unable to enjoy my nice cold drink with my sandwich. I'll have to either bring my own bottle opener next time or choose a drink that is a screw top or flip opener.

Now let's talk about the Banh Mi sandwiches. My most favorite thing about Duc Huong Banh Mi sandwiches is the garlic bread option you have with your sandwich. I cannot overstate how much of an improvement over every other Banh Mi in the city having garlic bread as the bread base truly is. This option has pretty much ruined Banh MI sandwiches at every other shop. Not only does Duc Huong literally stuff their sandwiches with so much meat and pickled veggies, but then to have the garlic bread option-Total Game Changer. Can get this with or without blood cubes. They serve this with a lot of veggies and herbs which is nice because some places are so skimpy. The flavor of the broth is delicious but not spicy. You'll need to add more of the chili oil and other table condiments. Banh cuon - It only said it was served with cha lua (vietnamese meat loaf) but I was surprised to see it came with a shrimp and potato fritter, as well as a good serving of bean sprouts, cucumbers and pickled daikon/carrot on the side. They give you a small side of sambal as well fish sauce to dip or pour over your banh cuon. The shrimp fritter was okay... two shrimps with shells on btw. It added a nice crunch to the meal but it was pretty greasy with a thicker batter. It tastes exactly the way you imagine an orange should taste, but so much better. I'm pretty sure they add some kind of syrup and sugar to it to enhance it because no way is it just fresh squeezed oranges only. Slightly pulpy but not too bad. Soursop is usually my fav but idk if they messed up and gave me the wrong one or what. It tasted very limey lol Only took a couple sips before trashing it. I've never had their shakes before but I found it was very icey, and less creamy than other places. Service is so so. If you want to eat in, just sit at a table and somebody will bring you a menu. The food comes out quick but they won't check on you again after that. If you need anything extra like water, napkins, the check, you'll need to wave someone down. They take CC though, so that's a plus! Parking lot is big, shared with SF market and all the other stores in the plaza so it can get pretty hectic. HL side has a small side lot, so try your luck there otherwise it'll be a walk as they're the corner store.
