A Cheeseburger With everything on it
    Richard H.

I ordered this through Uber eats. It arrived quickly and the food was still hot. I have been living in the hell hole known as Florida for the last 15 years and there is no Wienerschnitzel in Florida. I order their chili dog tried their hamburger and their Polish sandwich. I got the regular hotdog with chili dog. It was messy and delicious at the same time. It might be me but I thought the hot dog was a little bit on the salty side but that's OK. I also tried the hamburger for the first time cheeseburger I had a grilled onions mustard ketchup and raw onions... this too was messy messy but it was delicious. I thought the Polish sausage sandwich was very good too the only thing I would've preferred was if they had actually toasted rye bread. But aside from that it was good With me saying how good this fast food is , is an example of how bad and nasty food and restaurants are in Florida.. Also this store actually read and filled out my exact order including utensils and additional condiments. I applaud the store for being meticulous and filling my order thank you very much

Cup full of ice and looks like not even half filled lemonade

I honestly don't know what is wrong with the girl who made the drinks. We ordered two southern lemonade floats. One wild berry and one watermelon. As we got up to the drive up window the total came out $28 with our 2 orders of the chili cheese fries, chili dog and a corn dog for $4.99. An order of chili fries for $1 off. The drinks were $4.29 each. My stupid boyfriend had a hard time reading the menu for their new drinks when ordering it and look at me with a confused look to assure if the drink is correct. I told him to order one of each flavor I mentioned beforehand but, he can't comprehend something so simple. He stutter and only order one. I was frustrated with him so I reach over the seat and asked the young girl to add the wild berry flavor as well. As we got to the drive thru. I notice her sweet tone voice changed. Once the boyfriend ask why it was so much when she gave us our total cost. He told her we had two orders of the coupon deal. She quickly fix the problem. Think she forgot to discount the second order. No biggie. It happens sometimes. As she handed our drinks I notice there was a lot of ice in both drinks. The lemonade was less than half filled up to the cup. The soft served was completely sloppy with still more than a quarter of room left on top. I knew immediately that they did it on purpose because I can hear the girl who made the drink and the girl who took our order was laughing in the background. I don't know why they did that to us. Maybe because miscommunication at the intercom with the drink order and boyfriend wasn't listening correctly to what she was asking or because the boyfriend made a comment that the price was incorrect and she took offensive to it. So the other co worker probably overheard our convo and decided to bust a shady with the drinks. For 4.29 each with a half ass drink I was pretty upset. I didn't wanna request to have em remake it thinking they'll do another shady shit. I'm not against teenagers working at a fast food establishment but, certain ones don't take their job seriously.

Late lunch today and really needed my Wienerschnitzel fix after a year of not having it. This location is a bit on the edgy part of town, but the service and food quality were on point. Bathrooms are outside, so gauge the need before venturing out. Would have been a 5-star experience but there was a careless area of stickiness near the soda dispenser that obviously had been there for quite some time. They did, however, mark the danger zone with an appropriate yellow Wet Floor sign. Don't forget the specials online or in your text messages. Worth the quick signup.

I imagine this is what the sign looks like if I were driving on Stockton Boulevard

My food was hot imagine that! I got a chili cheese dog that was hot as well as a small fry also hot, this will now be my regular Wienerschnitzel's even though it's out of my way, why? Hot Food!

How can you mess up a hotdog order?! I will tell you how if someone orders a chili cheese dog and ends up with more onions then chili you just messed up that entire order. That is what happened to me today when ordering something as simple as a chili cheese dog for some reason I end up with a pile of onions and hardly any chili at all! Extremely pissed off and will not be going back. Used to go to this one all the time now I will never go back also the cashier ran my debit card as a credit card instead of a debit card? My card literally says debit on the front why would you run it as a credit card? Absolutely ridiculous I will never be going back.

I love that they have something for almost everyone (bummed there weren't veggie burger or turkey burger options), and it gives old school drive in vibes. I loved that you can get a mix of fish and nuggets, so that's what I ordered, which also came with fries. Then I also ordered a slush puppy which was such a refreshing drink! I had shown up just in time because once I ordered at least 5 cars showed up behind me within a few mins. Food was hot and made to order and I will definitely be back!

I miss their two for specials that included a bottle of wine. Stopped in for happy hour on a Thursday around 3:30/4pm. It wasn't too busy. Love the renovation. It looks so nice. Plenty of seating. There's outside seating as well. Parking may be a challenge when it's busy. I Ordered a margherita or pepperoni pizza. Tried 3 of their spritz. Blood Orange Spritz which is aperol, blood orange, sparkling water, prosecco. Also tried the Blackberry Basil Spritz which is blackberry, crème de cassis, basil, sparkling water, prosecco. The 3rd drink I tried was the Cucumber Mint Spritz which is cucumber, elderflower, lemon, sparkling water, prosecco. All 3 were really good, but the cucumber mint was really refreshing. And the blackberry basil was my favorite. Also ordered a trio salad. I opted for the beets, Summer Vegetable Orzo, & the Mediterranean cucumber. My favorite was the orzo and the beets. Also tried the Power Caesar salad with chicken. It was really good. It was not your typical Caesar salad but so good. Also ordered 4 desserts. Tried the Strawberry Tres Leches Parfait which is fresh strawberries, vanilla sponge cake, &whipped cream. Also got 2 of their tiramisu parfaits which is mascarpone cream, & coffee-soaked ladyfingers. Super strong but so good. You might need a cup of coffee with this one. And the third was the banana pudding parfait which is vanilla coconut pudding, bananas, vanilla streusel, "whipped cream". All three parfaits were really good. They were all very different. I couldn't finish the parfaits so I had to take them to go. They have lids for them. Happy Hour is monday - friday, 2pm - 5 pm dine in only, & you can only order one pizza for happy hour price per guest. I will definitely be back soon. Great place to just grab a bite or drink with friends and family.

Service is as fast as it can be during lunch hour rush, and I haven't been disappointed yet with my orders. The workers have always been helpful and answered any questions about the menu or even helped with recommendations. The ambiance isn't anything special. It's like most sandwich spots with tables, chairs and a restroom for customers. You're probably not pulling out your laptop to do any work or catch a vibe there unless listening to music and sending emails in a sandwich restaurant is your thing. My go-to order is the Amuna's Tuna on Dutch crunch with everything on it except jalapeños. If you're feeling a little lucky, you can get a combo meal with chips and a drink. They also sell big cookies. You also get a nice caramel apple sucker candy with your order. Like most restaurants these days, and especially restaurants in midtown, you're looking at $15-$20 for a sandwich and combo. It's pricey.

I'm likely in the minority in my opinion, but bear with me. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4, and…read moresticking with a 3 because this shop just didn't measure up ... to me. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll. For more adventurous sandwich people, go for broke! This is your place!

While I make it a point to grab some banh mis to go whenever I'm around, I've never eaten in the restaurant until this weekend. HL is a sleeper because their menu options are big, portions are BIG, AND the food is still decently priced with most entrees being $14. This is getting harder and harder to find, due to cost of living and inflation. Bun Bo Hue (BBH) - Really good! Nice big bowl of noodles with all the usual suspects. Can get this with or without blood cubes. They serve this with a lot of veggies and herbs which is nice because some places are so skimpy. The flavor of the broth is delicious but not spicy. You'll need to add more of the chili oil and other table condiments. Banh cuon - It only said it was served with cha lua (vietnamese meat loaf) but I was surprised to see it came with a shrimp and potato fritter, as well as a good serving of bean sprouts, cucumbers and pickled daikon/carrot on the side. They give you a small side of sambal as well fish sauce to dip or pour over your banh cuon. The portion is huge for $14 and I really loved the taste of the cha lua, which I'm pretty sure is house made. The rice rolls could be a little thinner but they were filled well! The shrimp fritter was okay... two shrimps with shells on btw. It added a nice crunch to the meal but it was pretty greasy with a thicker batter. My fav shrimp fritter comes from Tay Ho but can't complain! Nem Nuong Spring Roll - I was expecting a couple small spring rolls for $5 but these thangs were long and thicccc (thats what she said). The nem nuong inside isn't overly sweet, but its a long thin slice that spans the whole roll so every bite is the perfect bite :) The eggroll wrapper was nice and crunchy, and the the roll not overly filled with noodles. Very shareable, but ask them to cut it in half or thirds! Was a hot day so we got Soursop smoothie, no pearl and a fresh OJ. Vietnamese OJ hits different. It tastes exactly the way you imagine an orange should taste, but so much better. I'm pretty sure they add some kind of syrup and sugar to it to enhance it because no way is it just fresh squeezed oranges only. Slightly pulpy but not too bad. Soursop is usually my fav but idk if they messed up and gave me the wrong one or what. It tasted very limey lol Only took a couple sips before trashing it. I've never had their shakes before but I found it was very icey, and less creamy than other places. Service is so so. If you want to eat in, just sit at a table and somebody will bring you a menu. The food comes out quick but they won't check on you again after that. If you need anything extra like water, napkins, the check, you'll need to wave someone down. They take CC though, so that's a plus! Parking lot is big, shared with SF market and all the other stores in the plaza so it can get pretty hectic. HL side has a small side lot, so try your luck there otherwise it'll be a walk as they're the corner store.
