Walked in and was ignored as soon as I walked in. I went to have a quick lunch with my kids and we were the only one in line and a older lady behind the counter who looked as if she was a manger I believe her name was Kathleen looked as if she hated her job. She wasn't very friendly what so ever even my kids mentioned how awkward they felt. I asked for ranch and she said "no ma'am we don't have any sauce today the order did not come in and handed me 2 ketchup packets (when we ordered 3 medium combo meals). She killed any vibes we had. I would like to start off by saying how displeased/dissatisfied/ malcontent I was with the shitty a$$ service. First they didn't want to let me use the restroom before ordering!! Like I have to hurt my bladder OK... then they wanted to charge us $2.25 for FREE water. Is it illegal to deny a cup of water? It is very much in effect today, with businesses being reported and heavily fined who refuse to supply water to those who ask for it... we obviously bought food just didn't want to drink soda. I go to this Carl's Jr multiple times a week and I order a milkshake every time. Generally I don't have a problem with any of the employees but there's a specific employee by the name of Antonio where the issue lies. Every time he's working the shift he tells me "we don't have any milkshakes", and I'm starting to come to the understanding that he's a lazy worker that doesn't want to make milkshakes. Every worker has no problem making one when I go but it's been plenty of times where I go and he tells me the same thing. It's starting to get a little frustrating and I love Carl's Jr but this is making me thinks twice about wanting to eat here. I think management should seriously look into why this is happening. Franchisee obviously does not care about a growing problem at 524 Inland Center Drive in San Bernardino. This isn't the first time we run into this problem: the employees here will routinely place construction cones across the drive thru to purposefully block off the drive thru. See pictures below. I knocked on the door telling them we paid full price already on the app, and they didn't care. Her name was Reina, and this occurred on 7/17/22 at 10PM. See picture of her below. Another employee with the name tag "Justin" scans the parking lot when he works and approached our vehicle on a separation occasion, telling us he was understaffed and couldn't process orders. I think these people are straight up lying and are disgruntled employees who refuse to work. Is the Franchisee reading any of this? Drove by there today and saw a crew demolishing the building, not sure if they are rebuilding it after the tear down but if they do decide to rebuild it I suggest they focus on customer service because they don't really attend you when you are standing in line. I'm a little surprised that I hadn't written a review of this Carl's Jr. I was eating there quite a bit for a while, but now I've moved away so buh bye. Here's the thing, I really love the Carl's Jr Big Cheeseburger. It isn't ON the menu, but it is a menu item and it's freaking cheap and a good sized burger. I highly recommend it. I also like the onion rings, so sometimes I get that burger in a combo and seriously, I eat for under $5. What? The PROBLEM is that this locations is filthy. I understand that they have a lot of homeless people there, but that just means they need to clean up more. That's the nature of the location and the business. Tables do not cleaned fast enough (or good enough, but that isn't exclusive to this place) and the drink and condiment area is GROSS ALL THE TIME. ALL THE TIME. GROSS. What's the point in fast food when every time you go through there they make you pull around and WAIT over 10 minutes for your food! Even if there are no cars behind you! No cars in line! The food was good but the service was terrible! After waiting longer than usual for our order we went to the front to see what was waiting so long and realized that we weren't the only ones dissatisfied with the wait time.
