This was the most disappointing fast food experience I've ever had. Super poor communication skills coupled with providing the wrong stuff. Had to wait for quite a bit and the bread was crusty. The sauce was lacking. The meat was cold. Check my other reviews. I do NOT give bad reviews. Please do not go here until they get it together. Also, I can't tell if they overcharged me because the receipt I got was for $48 but my meal was supposed to be $22. It looks like this was someone else's receipt. I got the wrong size drinks. When I asked about it the man was not really that bothered nor did he fix it and then he just didn't answer the window. I'm not into Karen like behavior but to be honest I am broke as a joke right now and I'm not playing about $20. Instead of apologizing to me and understanding that mistakes happen and remaking a $15 meal which his food costs were probably half "Greg" who refused to give me his last name the owner of Carl's Jr. at 373 Aviation Blvd., Santa Rosa, CA told me I wasn't nice and because I didn't have the wrong chicken sandwich covered in pickles which my husband is allergic to to show his staff (because we had thrown it the garbage) I was told to leave. The woman working the line realized by the time I hung up with "Gregg" that the meal should just be remade. But the owner decided to refuse even with a receipt in hand. I work overnight at an agency down the street from this Carl's Jr. This location has banners outside that says Drive Thru 24 hours, yet both times I have been here at 1am and next time about a week later around 2 am it was closed. No note on the window or any explanation whatsoever. I don't care if it is just a fast food restaurant-this is unprofessional. I was on my 30-minute unpaid lunch break and driving here was a waste of time. Had I known it wasn't actually open 24 hours I could have driven elsewhere and back. Anyways, I was having a rough day and hadn't eaten at all so I went to go grab something around 3PM. One of the employees, Dominique, was incredibly sweet and funny. I spent $70 only to not get what I ordered. I ordered three of the exact same sandwich and all that was in the bun was a piece of chicken and a few pickles. She also spilt my drink all over me and in my car and didn't say sorry or give me another drink. She did offer a towel so that was nice. There was literally nobody in the driveway and nobody inside. I went in on Sunday morning of last week i was greeted by a wonderful employee (miriam solorio) she took my order i got the 3 pc chicken tenders the food was AMAZING. The fires of Santa Rosa area on Monday, October 9th, Gail provided above and beyond Customer service. She was working by herself this morning and provided the best customer service to people who walked in the store who were evacuated or lost their homes to the fire. The gas was turned off the restaurant but Gail continue to make coffee, cookies, and bacon cheese slides to everyone that walked in. I'm terribly disappointed with this Carl's Jr. location. At the drive-thru window, I asked if I could get chicken for instead in a Teriyaki Burger. Gloria said, sure, in any item. So, ordered a combo. Ordered fries (too bad, no sweet potato on the menu) and a Diet Coke, as I wasn't crazy about their fried zucchini in the past. Handed her my credit card. Didn't notice there wasn't a charge for a drink. Never had a combo without a drink. Asked again for a Diet Coke. She charges me an extra $1. And had charged me separately for the fries. I finally understand why there were so many negative or low-star ratings for this location. I only went to this one because I moved here recently and needed to get my pup a license at nearby Animal Shelter. Killing time til they opened. read more

Why the negative reviews. We don't have Carl Jr out our way but will say they pretty much put MacDonald to shame if you have to eat this kind of food. We went her for breakfast and had the Mile high bacon egg and cheese biscuit. While we were at our hotel and it was 3 am, we also went over and I ordered the 1/2 thick burger el diablo..... This place SUCKS!!!!!!!! Everyone that works here is incredibly rude! I am a huge Carls Jr. fan. This particular restaurant just reflects lazy and careless employees. Dirty tables, floor is sticky, the flap to the garbage can was covered in dry soda and food making you not even want to touch it to throw your food away. My fiance and I were standing in line to place our order as she was holding our 14 month old son, the MANAGER had the nerve to force his way by us hitting my sons foot and almost pushing my fiance to the side. No sorry or anything just a dirty look like it was our fault for standing in line trying to purchase a meal. Of course I was ready to cause a huge scene but my fiance didn't have long for lunch so we were trying to hurry it along without having them take it out on our food. Between the side conversations the cashier was having with her friends that were hanging out at the counter we were able to order our food. Once we placed our order we grabbed a table and waited......and waited and waited and waited. Finally our food came. The burger was the driest burger i have ever ordered at any burger place in my life! The fries were covered with so much salt it burned your tongue to eat them. For some reason I will never understand we only got 2 little ketchup packets for an order of large as well as small fries and they refused to give us anymore. In my opinion this is the worst Carls Jr. there is in entire the bay area possibly in franchise history. FIrst off the employees at this location were the most unfriendly people a person can encounter. They all had really bad attitudes and you could tell they didn't want to be there. Next the food. The lady at the register was nice but the food came way too fast. Usually Carl's takes 3 to 5 minutes to prepare your meal but this took about 45 seconds. Unfortunately the burgers weren't hot, the onion rings were old and the fries looked like they weren't fully cooked. I just ate at the Novato Carl's on Sunday and the food was much better there. Nicest Manager ever. I assume he's the manager because of his nice shirt and tie. He also has a mustache if that helps narrow it down. Came in with my family today. And from the moment we walked thru the door we felt welcomed. They even let my kid pick which cookie he wanted when we got our order. Food was fresh and timely. I live less than a five minute drive from this location, and have yet to have anything be warm, let alone hot, by the time I get home. I go here for Green Burrito food, and it is excellent! Service is a little slow, but what do you expect when people are ordering full-on Mexican dishes at a drive-through! I love it. I did deduct a star for overall experience. The staff are pretty lax and it feels like the parking lot needs to be better-lit, considering the human foot traffic using it as a shortcut. read more
