I went the drive-thru at around 6 pm and ordered a fish filet sandwich and small fries. At that time things should be coming out hot and fresh, but neither was the case for the fish filet or fries! The fries were absolutely cold and the sandwich tasted like it had been sitting there for a week. It was cold and the first and only bite that I took, the filet was dry, hard and the cheese was not even melty, just hard. I could not even chew it. How long does it have to sit there to become like that? It was absolutely disgusting and I ended up throwing my whole order away! If I could leave a zero star review, that's what it would have been! 1 star is even too good! Never going back there! And when I tried to call to tell them, their phone number is disconnected! It's fast, so if cold limp and expensive is your thing, have I got a place for you! I can go to any sit down restaurant for less money, better service and better food. I don't come too often but often enough to write a review worth writing. If you are nice to the people serving you, they are nice back. I personally never had my order wrong here, and if they forget an item in the drive through just go inside and be polite. Being rude or irritated doesn't help. Just be nice... always. Humans make mistakes. The remodel is nice, the restaurant is always clean. The food is food, it's McDonland's, you get in, get out and be on your way. Like everything else, yes it can be expensive, use the app, order food, earn points and then get free food for a later time. I live in Windsor and I appreciate the employees who serve me when I stop by to grab a quick bite to eat, especially early in the mornings at 1:30-3am. read more

Stop by McDonald's for a short lunch with the kids while on our way to the park. It was around 12, so lunch hour rush. They were very busy inside and with the drive thru, but unfortunately the inside customers didn't get much attention. The line would grow while people waited for someone to take their order. The staff seem to be more focus on the drive thru orders. However, once I got my order in, the food came out in a timely manner. What I really enjoyed was their newly remodeled inside! Open and vibrant. The play area seemed simple at first, but the kids imagination took over and they had a blast. The play area also included an area with two touchscreen for creative and problem solving play. My kids also enjoyed that part. We will be back when we're in Windsor again. read more

For last minute breakfast this is the place to go and I do recommend DoorDash Whenever I don't feel like cooking breakfast and I don't want to go out but just enjoy my morning I always DoorDash McDonald's I love their coffee and their breakfast. I feel that you can get a good breakfast on the go or just to enjoy at home without hurting the wallet. My to go to when in a rush or too lazy to go out SO for this I will give a 5 star to friendly neighborhood McDonald's and a Thank you to DoorDash whoever thought about this you deserve a pat on the back Yeyyyy!!!!! read more

I ordered a mobile order for pickup. It was $12 for hash browns, McGriddles and home style breakfast. Well I got my hash browns first and they only gave me one.... I complained about it and said the hashbrowns come with TWO. The Mexican lady's got mad I called them out and took my singular hashbrown back then refused to give me the rest of my food. When it was my turn, the girl turns around and walks off without a word. Things like "would you like to pay with the app today?" And assuming that all breakfast meals should come with a large orange juice. I recently visited the House of Ronald in Windsor California for one of the recently released gourmet sandwiches!!Okay- so I just went though the drive through at the Windsor McDonald's and got a McRib While it's not a real "rib" it is a pork patty that has real baby back rib flavor. The sauce is sweet and smokey and pretty darn tasty! The pickles and raw onions give it a nice balance and chew. If you've not had one before- I recommend you give it a try. It's a nostalgic limited run sandwich. At around $5- each it's not cheap, but in the balance I would say my trip down memory lane is worth it. Get your McRib on! read more

Today I no longer am a McDonald's virgin. My cherry has been popped! Growing up, my parents never fed my brothers and I fast food. They were huge on home cooked meals, or high end restaurants. So as an adult, fast food really doesn't appeal to me. With that said, I've recently been curious as to why people eat at McDonald's rather than go to a burger joint that offers fresh cooked meat, so I thought I'd finally give it a try. I got a cheeseburger. It was just bun, meat, and cheese. The size of burger was super tiny. I'm glad I got two and a large fry. Otherwise, I would have ended up having to make something else to eat at home. Not gonna lie, it wasn't a bad tasting burger. It was actually, dare I say, tasty! Went through the drive-through again, told one I was wrong that I got mis charged two they couldn't give me back the amount they overcharged for and correct my order. Worst McDonald's in History? Moved to Windsor 2 months ago and upon exiting the freeway saw the cutest small hometown McDonalds and thought the place had a cozy, warm atmosphere. Then we went there. First time service wasn't outwardly rude, but not friendly either and food was cold. We were unpacking and it was wet so I figured, it sucks to work in the rain and chalked it up to a one time fluke. Went back again to have the order person get annoyed with me for using a coupon code at the end of my order and not the beginning and proceeded to lecture me on how use a coupon code. Ok? Never had an issue before but that's how they want it here fine. Third and fourth times they purposely left food out of the order and then didn't even know what the order was when I corrected them and had to show them the receipt. Fifth time came on my lunch break and brought it back to work and my simple McDonald's hamburger--you know the kids one--was missing the only main ingredient which was the patty! How do you serve a hamburger without the damn patty? At this point I was annoyed with this place and drove back in heavy rain after work and when I went in and told them, they laughed, told everybody else working who then laughed; never apologized, they re-made it for me and that was it. Now today, sat there while constantly correcting the order and the food is swimming in sauce, lids not put on correctly, and just all out gross. This place never makes a decent meal, nor delivers the inferior food with a smile. RAGE POST: Seriously. Who ever was working here at this time - she needs a performance evaluation. Holy hell man. My whole entire order is incorrect. In its absolutely entirety. I ordered 2 chicken McGriddles and 2 sausage McGriddles and used a deal from the app for a free Sausage egg McMuffin and then a mocha with an extra shot of espresso or whatever for downloading the app. I have two chicken biscuits 1 sausage McGriddle and no promo sandwich and my mocha was changed to a coffee. I understand this is McDonald's but I do graveyard shift security near dry creek and with covid closing everything down I had to drive into windsor to get this fixed. To literally miss everything on my order is not just a slip up but a complete disregard for doing what I believe to be a pretty day to day routine for fast food workers. I'm giving them the doubt of being trained but then where was the training manager to oversee the order was correct?
