If you're looking for a sketchy place to pump gas while feeling unsafe... welcome to Carl's Sunoco. The gas prices are sometimes fair but sometimes not. I stopped coming here with the price at the pump didn't match what was advertised strangely enough. The last time I came to pump gas there was the last time I pump gas there. Let's just put it like that. To be fair, it is convenient located right next to a convenience store and on the other side is a McDonald's if you're looking for reasons to stop by. Stopped to get my tire repaired. They were able to take me right away. He removed the screw and repaired it and even took another one of the tires off which appeared to have a slow leak. He didn't find anything. He did all that in less than 30 min. Gas $2.89 Premium. read more

Every time I have an issue with my car they are able to fix it within a few hours! I have had the tire pressure light go on, on two different occasions. Both times there was a nail in my tire and they were able to plug the hole within 5 minutes! Carl's Sunoco which is not a Chevron, is a great local spot to get your car fixed. I agree with Anthony's comment, this gas station is so dirty even the prices of gas are higher than usual, I went there because I think they are the only one selling non-ethanol gas (only in premium grade) in the neighborhood. I just bought a new used car (800 miles and 1 year old), drove for little bit, used about 1/3 on the gas tank gauge, calculated the mileage consumption, should need 4 gallons to fill it back up, I brought a bottle of gas additive to add to the tank, thinking with a low mileage in one whole year, may have some residue in the gas tank, so with the pure gasoline, it will clean up the tank a little bit. Pump credit card machine not working, went into the office, everything is like Anthony said; well, fill up with over 8 gallons of non-ethanol premium, something didn't add up, can't be 8 gallons, my tank only hold 12 gallons, 1/3 should be 4 gallons, went in to paid and told the attendant that may be the pump needs calibration, he got so exited and defensive, came out to show me all those official seals that their pumps are always up to date with official inspection. I shall find another gas station that sells non-ethanol gas around my neighborhood or just use whatever gas that regular gas station sells. Above is only my observation, no bad intention, whoever reads my comment, please use your own judgement; I, for sure, will not go back there again. read more

At the next day I call explain what I need on my car he talk on rude way and say bring your car to other place I don't give estimate by phone read more

Best mechanic anywhere. Carl the owner usually can tell whats wrong with your car just by listening or driving it. Been going there for over 25 yrs. Would never take any of my cars anyplace else. Bear in mind that I base this review on one visit to this particular Sunoco station for gas. My experience was so bad that I would never think to give it a second chance. This place is a toilet. The pumps are old, outdated, dirty and you can't even read most of the numbers and markings on them. When I stopped in they weren't accepting credit cards for some reason so I had to go into the office and pay cash. That usually wouldn't problematic for me but when I opened the door I felt like I was walking into an airplane bathroom. It was tiny and it smelled like urine. I asked the lady seated behind the counter if I could get $20 on pump whatever number I was at. She looked at me like I asked her for a kidney and said/asked, "Can you get it?" I was a little perplexed with her response, as I am typically a polite person that prefers to ask rather than demand. So I repeated myself, only in a different way. "Yes, $20 on pump whatever number I was at." Two times the charm on that one. So I eagerly exited the little office that smelled like a zoo, pumped my gas and high-tailed it out of there, never to return! read more

My car started shaking and not accelerating. I called them and they told me to drop my car off and they would work on it first thing in the morning. I did so and within an hour they called me with a diagnosis and a price. I approved the repair. Then an hour and a half later they called me to come and get my car. I thought that they mixed my phone number up with another customer. But despite the fact that they promised the car the next morning my car was fixed early and for the promised price. And the problem was totally fixed. read more

Took my car here because the engine was shaking and the mechanics claimed that they could fix the problem easily. Dropped my car off and picked it up after I got off work and by that time the mechanic shop was closed but you could still pay with the store cashier. My car is shaking just the same if not worse! I called the next morning and the shop said to bring the car back so I left work early and the nasty owner Carl looked at me as though I had ran over his dog or something. The idiot did not even acknowledge me until I got out of my car and approached his weird ass. I told him that I had called earlier about bringing the car in and he told me that the shop would be closing in about two hours and they could not even look at my car until another day! The whole place is shady and filthy! The gas station needs to be remodeled because it's very old and dated, the way too small store smells like urine and cigarette smoke! This Sunoco makes you feel like you're in the movie "wrong turn" and the workers here look like the "devils rejects" Never coming here again! Would not even let them work on a tri-cycle!!!! read more
