In all my years of going to Carlucci's I have never been soooo dissatisfied in all my life ,over this past weekend me and a few friends of mines went there to enjoy ourselves when it everything but enjoying whatsoever we had a server by the name of William to start off, who was just the rudest and most ignorant to our table seemed like the way he was speaking to us was like we weren't educated, or we were beneath him,he would leave our table what seems like forever when we went to ask for extra things such as napkins and water like he really didn't want to work at all,if this is the type of people that Carlucci's is now hiring maybe me and my friends and family should consider going else where,he has no customer service skills whatsoever and needs to be fired was just the rudest person. Went on a Saturday, grabbed a high-top on the outdoor patio, and wow -- the view alone could've been the main course. The guys working outside were friendly and on top of things. We ordered a few shareables, and... let's just say they were "fine dining" in the literal sense: fine, but not much dining excitement. The shareable eggplant? Delicious. Fried buffalo mozzarella? Pretty good. Lobster mac? Somehow forgot to RSVP the cheese -- just bland noodles with a lobster cameo. But the true villain of the night: the crab bruschetta. PSA: this comes with more mayonnaise than crab, tomatoes, or possibly oxygen. If you're expecting classic bruschetta, brace yourself. Come for the ambiance and view; for the food, there are tastier Italian spots nearby. read more

We once again were visiting and decided to come back to Carlucci's, this time it was a total disappointment. The food was awful, I had the salmon and it was very fishy. My husband had the sea bass which included some shellfish, overcooked and also fishy. The service was okay. The ambiance of course lovely but not enough to return on our next visit. read more

Had dinner here with my family last night, service and food was outstanding. They have done an incredible job with the remodels. We sat outside in their fully enclosed and heating patio called La Terrazza. Also they just upgraded their bathrooms which are clean and beautiful. I can't wait to go back! read more

Have not been in 20+years. Now I remember why. While the upgrades are beautiful the food still sucks. From the undercooked calamari (20$ on lunch menu but charged the 22$ dinner price) to the tasteless crab cake and the sliced lunchmeat French dip. I had such a great experience here at Carlucci's. I decided to have a last minute wedding and they catered to my every need. The customer service was great. The food was good. My favorite was the penne vodka . The day of my wedding it was a rainy and gloomy day and they still went out of their way to make sure everything was smooth and top Tier. I come here often late evening on my way home from visiting my 100 year old father in my way home close to Delaware Memorial Bridge. I am so frustrated when I arrive at 9:30 and I am told the kitchen is closed! Please do not advertise kitchen closed at 10pm if it closes at 9pm. This was my first time here and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I sat outside on the back covered patio and it was beautiful! The views are amazing and the decor is gorgeous. Service was excellent - very attentive and friendly. The only complaint I have is the clams casino wasn't the best I've had, and they left the clam whole which I have seen before, but the clams were a bit fishy. It wasn't awful, just not super appetizing. The crab cake was excellent! All in all this is a beautiful restaurant. I will most certainly be back here. read more

The prices are ridiculous! A mixed drink with house vodka was $15. We ordered a starter of EggPlant Rollatini. Two small pieces $18 and a Cranberry Walnut Salad $18. The value is horrible. We just had our wedding at Carlucci's Waterfront and I'm disappointed I cannot give 10 stars because they deserve it! First their all inclusive package made it so easy-DJ and cake was included. The cake was delicious! DJ was amazing. Second, the staff could not be more accommodating, they were so kind. The manager Carlo was also wonderful. They all made our big day that much more amazing. Lastly, the food was phenomenal. Even the salad dressing was so flavorful! The bread came out piping hot, the pasta course was so good and I got the filet mignon as my entree. I've been going here for years and have enjoyed their Italian dishes. Tonight I ordered linguine and clams. It was the worst I've ever tasted. There was absolutely no garlic in the white sauce (which was a small amount of butter and olive oil at the bottom of the dish). The dish was dry and absolutely tasteless. I was at my 6th+ event over the weekend and it keeps getting better! The food was excellent, I had the salmon, mashed potatoes and broccoli - everything was delicious, including the cheesecake. This place put the ho ho ho in hospital food Enjoy hospital food for the holidays? This is the place for you! The ambiance is nice and the service started out well. After the salad the ONLY thing else that was good was the pumpkin pie. We decided to have the calamari for openers. They were crispy and hot minus any flavor. The marinara sauce was fair. You like turkey? Not here you won't! The bird must have had a hard life. It was tough, DRY and chewy. The stuffing was right out of a box or at least tasted like it. Sweet potatoes were ok and the string beans were tasty. Like I said the pie saved the experience. Next time we book reservations at the local hospital. I live in the area and often forget about this hidden gem! The 3 course Winter Menu was an excellent meal and great value - the zucchini flower appetizer was absolutely delicious! Go for the bread. Had two of the fall specialty dishes, the duck and the braised short ribs. Both were entirely not edible. The short rib was under cooked and needed to be cut with a knife, properly prepared short rib should be fork tender. The duck was cooked to a medium rare which should have been acceptable but it also just wasn't good. The service was very good and the view is lovely. We would go back but only have burgers. read more
