SacMofo event at Garcia Bend Park. Ordered 12 mini cinnamon donuts. They were a bit undercooked, little mushy. The flavor was good. They cook them on the spot as u can see in my pix. Beautiful food truck, looks spotless. Staff very friendly. read more

Food in the Hood - Thursday Dinner! [Hamptons/ North Natomas] Daisy's Desserts was one of three participating food trucks that came to North Natomas. I purchased my drink here, a frozen lemonade. They have different flavors (original, peach, strawberry, green apple, and mango). I chose the good ole' classic original flavor. Love it! So refreshing and yummy! This would be a great summer drink! Service was good and fast. I didn't try any of the mini donut and cookie desserts but I read the reviews and they sound amazing. I hope they make it to Roseville one day otherwise I'd have to come back next month when they're scheduled to return to Natomas on April 13th. Their Frozen Lemonade drink is my new favorite! I had the green apple float here at a food truck event which seemed like a unique perfect balance of sweet and sour and it exceeded my expectations. My son had an orange float and my baby had a scoop of mint chocolate chip. All were good and great portion sizes. Customer service was great and personable. Anyplace that serves mini donuts can have my heart. For some reason, mini donuts from a food truck is exciting and makes it much better. Stephen- You are RUDE and CONDESCENDING! This is how to talk to customers that your staff has treated rudely and after inconveniencing them?!!! Are you kidding me?!!!!! How dare you tell me to "please be better and kind" when your employee was RUDE!!!!! Do not accuse me of treating your rude employee without courtesy and respect. HOW DARE you!!!!!! First of all, NO, most people were not ok with the delay. A group of us stood there talking about how ridiculous the wait was and none of them were happy. They were all upset. I would know because I spoke with ALL of them!!! Since you were there, you too, should know this!!! You say the "proclaimed 1 hour wait" ummm yeah, can you do basic math? We waited 30 min by the time I came up to the window for an update for the 3rd time! When I asked the girl how much longer she said it would be at least 30 more minutes. What is 30+30??? It's 60. What is 60 minutes? It's an HOUR!!!!!!!!! I was not going to wait another 30 min there and I was not going to drive home then drive back in 30 min!!! That's inconvenient. Also, you did not call any of the "poor people" to your window to update them or offer them any refunds. Pissed off people were going up to the window themselves demanding a refund. I'm not sure why you feel the need to lie about so many things instead of owning up to your mishandling of a situation and just apologizing. And you state that we had already enjoyed our other items...did you witness us eat or drink anything to make that statement? That would be a no because we didn't eat the creme brûlée or drink the lemonade (which by the way, you got the order wrong on the kind of lemonade we ordered and gave us the wrong kind) because upon receiving this items my daughter walked them to the car because her hands were cold from the drink and she didn't want to carry them. So they were in the car not consumed yet. So you are WRONG again because we did not enjoy or consume any of the items during the 30 minutes we were waiting outside. The reason I asked for a full refund on the small order of 6 mini donuts, the lemonade and creme brûlée is because after 30 min, the lemonade was watered down from melting, the creme brûlée was cold and soggy and you didn't have the donuts made yet. On top of that, I explained to the girls with you behind them, that the food I had ordered from another truck was now cold as well. Not only that but we wasted 30 min of standing in the windy cold air waiting and being inconvenienced after being told multiple times that it would only be a couple minutes for the wait...which was lie after lie!!!!!! Then the cherry on top is the fact your employee was extremely RUDE! The fact you allow your staff to treat customers so rudely and the fact you are publicly replying to me accusing me, the paying customer, of treating your rude staff "without courtesy & respect" and to "please be better and kind" is inappropriate and highly unprofessional!!!! I don't know I was expecting something more than what we ordered. We got five hot chocolate's and mini donuts. They were ok. Nothing wrong but nothing special. They were at the right place for the best the results. They had Apple Pay but I didn't really like how your total and numbers were on display for everyone to see. they were at the chicken festival in fair Oaks yesterday, asked them if I could buy a cup of ice told them I would pay full price for a drink, but I just wanted the ice. The cashier said she doubted that she could do that. She went and asked somebody in the truck and they said no. seriously? What's the difference between buying the ice and buying the drink? Amazing as always! I've been going to this food truck and their other trucks since they first started and won't ever stop. Always amazing quality and delicious food. I also got the mini donuts. They were soooo soft and pillowy. The ice cream had so much peanut butter and peanut butter cups in it that I would be satisfied with even just scoops of that alone. I asked if I could use cash and they said yes but then when I tried to use coins, then the guy looked at me and I look of disapproval and said he only takes paper money. Out standing delicious doin it's. Nice warm and fresh. Ice cream is to die for. Love the chocolate chip mint and on hot day's the lemonade hits the spot every time. This has always going to be my go too truck. I will wait in line for hours just to get a donut. I was there one day when they had problems with the machine. These guys are my favorite dessert truck out there. I have see them at a lot of events over the years and I have to say I MISS THESE GUYS!! I always feel like they go the extra mile to give me exactly what I want. (I'm a picky person when it comes to what I want on my ice cream) but they always serve it with a smile! So i understand that when trucks are busy that you are going to have to wait for food, that is part of the process. Waited in line for 15 minutes for Creme Brulee that was advertised across a flashing kit marquee and advertised on a poster on the side of the truck. No creme brulee because it was out of season. Not out of it. But out of season. Then stop advertising it. read more
