HeavenLy offers a rotating lineup of flavors, and tonight, I sampled the Pumpkin and Pistachio frozen yogurts. Both flavors were immaculate, and I ended up doing a swirl of the Pistachio and Chocolate for a sweet, nutty combination. Counter service was very helpful in providing sample sized cups upon request, so don't be shy to ask. HeavenLy has seating inside, which provided a comfortable space to unwind and enjoy our sweet treat. This is our go to yogurt shop. They vary the flavors of yogurt that they have and have a very nice selection of toppings. The staff are friendly and I like getting discounts for being a repeat customer. They also have shakes and smoothies as well as shaved ice, but I have not tried those. On the down side, some of their toppings like the nuts can be stale and the information on their website with regards to what flavors of yogurt they are serving is often wrong which I find frustrating. I have come to HeavenLy's a lot and it has been my favorite frozen yogurt spot in Sacramento but the last two times I have been pretty disappointed. The reason I really like this place is their cookie dough, it's actual cookie dough rather than those little premade ones. The past two times I've gone, I've gone around 35 minutes before closing and they had the cookie dough put away. When I asked if we'd still be able to have some the first time she said no, it's already in the back. But this happened a second time tonight and she said she had just put it away and once again, we asked if it was possible to have some and she said that they were already washing the spoon so we couldn't. I'd be surprised if there weren't a single other utensil we could use. If they had ran out or we came within a couple minutes of closing I'd understand but we came well before closing :(. read more

The people who work here are as lovely as the treats they offer. If you're nervous, don't be... the store is very clean and they obviously care about not only your health but their own! They ask you to sanitize, offer glove and wear gloves and masks as well. Froyo is good according to my daughter who also loves the shave ice. I usually go for a smoothie or boba drink. Ample toppings for your by the weight cup if froyo with a multitude of flavors to choose from if that's your thing. Fruit smoothies (dairy free I think ) or lots of different teas with the option to customize with bobas, jellies etc. They do shave ice OR snow and again... the options for toppings and customization are fantastic. This is my favorite frozen yogurt place in Sacramento. This is a true serve-yourself and pay by weight type of place, and believe me, they have ANYTHING you could dream of. They have more toppings honestly than any other yogurt place I've been to. From what I can remember off the top of my head: crushed Oreos, chocolate covered pretzels, yogurt covered pretzels, m&ms, peanut m&ms, almonds, peanuts, toffee covered nuts, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, Heath bar, Kit Kat, crushed cookies, brownie bits, cheesecake bites, kiwi, banana, strawberry, Cookie Crisp, fruity pebbles, Reese's pieces, crushed Reese's cups, crushed waffle cone, coconut, pineapple, crushed graham cracker, chocolate covered almonds, chocolate covered raisins, and so much more that I'm forgetting or don't know the name of. They also have hot fudge, Nutella, and other liquid toppings. The flavors change frequently but they have at least 8 at any given time. They always have original tart, chocolate, and vanilla. They usually have coffee as well (this one is my favorite). Some interesting rotating flavors: peanut butter, mango, strawberry, taro, red velvet, pumpkin, cheesecake, etc. Really fun place to go all year round. Prices are super reasonable. Sorry to be posting a negative review but my visit was rather disappointing. First off, my shaved snow looked nothing like the ones in the other pictures. It wasn't the pretty ribbony layers, or the shaped cylinder like Vampire Penguin. It was just an undignified mess which wasn't very flavorful. And the topping. Mine was the green tea mochi with some condensed milk. They are being way too stingy with it, and that really diminish the eating experience. Also, considering this is a froyo place with tons of topping options, I am not sure why they won't offer more topping selection for the shaved snow beyond the mostly mochi options as listed on the board. Or better yet, shaved the snow and then let customers pile on the toppings by the pound? I imagine that would be really popular. Definitely not a heavenly experience for me. I'll choose condemnation and visit Vampire Penguin instead. read more

It's hard living in downtown like I've stated before parking isn't free anywhere so finding a decent spot may be a challenge. However I don't usually go to get frozen yogurt often so this was my first time coming to this location and I can say the yogurt place had flavors I have never even heard of like apple and coconut etc though that's a good thing for those who like trying new things ,though I stuck with my regular choices minus one I won't get again which is cake batter something about it tastes bland and non cakey. The place was little to moderate in noise so nothing to worry about in that department the restroom was also clean which is always a good thing no matter what occasion you may be going out for and lastly I didn't think a yogurt shop would sell individual candy which is cool and convenient for those who may just be having a sweet tooth for candy and don't want to drive all the way to Arden mall. Google says they're open pretty late till10pm though not sure how true that is but it's worth a shot to call them beforehand if they pick up that is. This place is by far my favorite yogurt place in probably anywhere lol. The Euro Tart was amazing and tart tart! Just how I love it! Toppings galore and just straight up amazing. The ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful as well! You can also make a root beer yogurt float! This place isn't what it used to be unfortunately. I found it to be dirty and really loud. The yogurt machines are really loud like maybe they are broken and fans were running so maybe the AC was broken. I know the pandemic has hit small businesses hard so maybe they can't fix machines, which is understandable, but there's really no excuse to not wipe down machines frequently so they aren't sticky with drips everywhere. And they definitely don't clean the tables outside. They are shared by the complex, I'm sure, but they are obviously primarily used by this shop as there was not one place where there weren't globs of dried yogurt. I steered my son away from any of the fresh ingredients as I don't trust a place that won't even wipe stuff. He did like his yogurt and sprinkles though. read more

Super tasty yogurt shop! Parking is a bit squeezy in the back. There's plenty of seating and a couple tables outside too. I liked the self serve sample cups, and the variety of fruit and lactose-based flavors. Since I hone in on only the fruit flavors, I just noticed the lychee (amazing!!!!), pineapple whip, raspberry, Georgia peach, and maybe there was one other ... there is a good assortment of fruit, popping boba toppings, syrups and drizzles, as well as dry candies. The assortment is just enough but not overwhelming in options. My yogurt came out to under $5, and I swear the same amount and similar toppings elsewhere is usually $7-8... overall from the awesome variety of flavors (and the awesome lychee!!!), good assortment of toppings, inviting layout and friendly service, I'd definitely return here the next time I have a craving for self serve fro yo. read more

One of my favorite frozen yogurt places to go to since they have a non fat coffee flavored yogurt (my favorite) and recently have added a caramel popcorn flavor. So good! They have a options as far as low fat, low sugar, no sugar added and non fat but also have regular frozen yogurt flavor so it can please everyone regardless of their frozen yogurt preferences. It was hot on a sunny monday, and i was craving some froyo and next thing you know, i end up in here. When i walked in i was captured by the flavors they had such as cake batter, taro, and latte. Next i was in search of the toppings, once i saw the word mochi and popping boba i was sold. I went ahead and sample 2 of the flavors, first sample is taro and i thought hmmm its good. I like how they blend it really well and not powdery. I then sampled cake batter and I'm like this is the flavor. Went ahead and got a small cup and i got the cake batter and filled in with some latte without trying. Then i topped it off with green tea flavor mochi. The cake batter is so nomz, but the latte on the other hand wasn't my favorite and i wished i did try it first but oh well. The green tea mochi was really good and had a nice strong flavor of green tea in it. It was a great experience and i enjoy the outside patio with a nice shade. Finally stopped in after driving by this place numerous times! HeavenLy's serves up 10 different flavors. I don't quite get how the sign outside says 40 different flavors when I only counted 10. Even if you mixed/swirled two flavors to create a new one, you still only come up with 15. I did flunk Algebra II, but still... Featured flavors that I can remember (unlike Yelper Fro Yo girl Lolia who can recite everything!) * Cake batter * Blueberry (sugar free) * Pumpkin * Vanilla * Chocolate * Coffee * Tart D'oh! I forgot the rest. I was boring and had the vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Good consistency, good tasting. Actually the flavors were like "Alpine Vanilla", "Kona Koffee" and "Chocolate Malt Milkshake". The latter did not have a hint of malt in it whatsoever. Sometimes I think the more exotic a flavor sounds your brain tells you that it will taste better. Prices are .36 per ounce, pretty good if you ask me. They have a variety of sugar-free, fat-free, dairy-free kinds. However I did NOT see a dairy-free, sugar-free, fat-free type of yogurt. Standard toppings, including bubble gum and gummy worms. Not my taste, but great for kids. For the adults, there is fresh fruit, mochi (plain and assorted flavors), etc. Not as much crunched-up candy bars as I would like. The funky part of this place is the ambiance. They have this strange mobile hanging up that is basically small, clear color boxes strung up with fishing line. There is also a corner booth with fake flowers. Country/Western music played in the back ground. Huh??? Outdoor seating is available which is fantastic on a mellow, sunny autumn day. The girl working there was watching me like a hawk and made me feel like I should steal some toppings or something just to prove that she should be watching me. You know what I mean? (Next time I'll scoop up some of those bubble gum balls and shove them in my mouth.) No, you're not seeing double (for those who are following my reviews). My posse and I were just crazy (and bored) enough to drive on over to the second HeavenLy's location on H Street (on the same day!). We were expecting roughly the same kind of layout, but oh, this location was much better. For one, this HeavenLy's is located as its own standalone store (versus the strip mall shop for the Greenhaven location). Another very clean store, but there's more room for seats and the atmosphere screams more of a relaxing environment with dimmer lights. You can choose from 10 flavors and also the same offerings found at the other store: DIY Root Beer Floats, Waffle Cones, Candy Bins, and a bottled drinks case. Flavors of the Day: * Kiwi Strawberry: tasted overly sweet and rather artificial. * Hawaiian Delight: was coupled with the Kiwi Strawberry, so it also had an overly sweet taste to it. Not a fan. * Cookies & Cream * Euro Tart * Green Apple Tart * Chocolate * Vanilla * Peanut Butter * Strawberry * Cafe Latte I was overwhelmed with the larger (and more diverse) selection, so I took my time in sampling all the flavors. The samples were drippy again, but, like before, the larger cups held the froyo pretty well. There were actually three cup sizes available this time around: an XL-sized one, which was quite frightening to look at (maybe 32 oz.?). In the end, I went with the cookies & cream flavor, which seemed to be the choice flavor in the whole group (there was four of us). It had a sweet, creamy flavor akin of its ice cream cousin. I topped off my portion with brownie bits, cookie dough bits, and cheesecake bits. Maybe a bit much in the richness department, but it was very delicious. The brownie bits were chewy and went with the smoothness of the other two toppings. The dry toppings and fruit toppings were housed in the same compartment, which I couldn't decide if that was good or not. The fruit was still kept cold at least. They had six types of syrups available, and lots of different candy toppings. Prices were $0.36 per ounce with $0.50 extra for a waffle cone. This location also had the children's promo of free froyo on Fridays. Lucky kids! I definitely liked this location a little more than the other one: more selection, more seats available, and no wandering cashiers. It's superb in flavor and texture. I would write it a love song, if I could write love songs. From Red Velvet Cake to Irish Creme Mint, the depth and goodness of the flavors is impressive. If you love Gunther's Mint Cookie ice cream like I do, you can create a pretty awesome low fat alternative with the Oreo cookie toppings on the fat free Irish Creme Mint. Pretty much kicks Big Spoon's ass as far as cleanliness #SBI. Yes it's a little further away from the house but it's worth it. And OMG they have Taro snow...that's all I needed to know and I was twerking like a 12yo at a sleepover. They have so much fresh fruit which is my fav and for the peeps with the sweet tooth they have a full blown candy section. Different kinds of Boba and mochi is also on the top of my list. It took my Nephews forever to load up their bowls. I have to tell you that my GPS did a horrible job finding this place. But I eventually made it here. It was a hot day and it was great time to treat ourselves for some frozen yogurt. It was a typical yogurt shop with a large selection of toppings. I think the selection of yogurt was good. The place was clean and well maintained. I have to say though...we were there in the evening. I noticed that the lighting in the place was very YELLOW. I know that sounds a little silly but it was not attractive at all inside the place. (Shaved ice, yogurt, then more shaved ice on the top. Twice now, workers have given me a cup half full of liquid flavoring, minimal yogurt, and ice on the top which did not even have much of the flavoring on it.
