    Root-beer Float

Came to Cowtown Cremery during a Sacmofo event and was so excited to see them -- sugar is my weakness! Nothing super special, but I grabbed a root beer float and it was so good. Totally hit the spot!

Holy Cow... I mean, Happy Cow! How can anyone give anything less than 5-Stars for their yummy desserts! I experienced my very first Cowtown dessert from their food truck when they came to my work in Roseville for a pre 4th of July private party celebration. Cowtown Creamery was one of three food truck vendors that day. The menu was not only a variety of ice cream delight but also included smoothies, floats, milkshakes, affogatos, sundaes and much more. Really hard to choose since we were only allowed one dessert. I had the Jersey Boy (hot fudge, salted peanuts, hard shell)! Honestly, I thought I was going to get an ice cream the size of a Nestlé® drumstick cone and that they would just hand it to me but when I got my ice cream it came in a container with a spoon. It was huge! Jersey Boy was one of their popular flavors. Took me awhile to finish it... it was yummy! I also got the Frozen Lemonade to wash down all that sweetness! So refreshing, so delicious (I was able to score another freebie)! The staff members were nice and friendly... great customer service. Can't wait to visit their ice cream store! Definitely the best dessert food truck and they made a big fan out of me! Review #1083

Food trucks are the best during COVID pandemic While visiting Sacramento we wanting to scout out the best food Truck option. Food truck have a culture here something we don't have in the Bay. We escaped mid day due a quick ice cream fix. What more can one ask for on a on a hot day. With covid limiting indoor eating this is the next best option being that they are located in outdoor areas near a park and have sitting options I contacted the number listed here on Yelp and asked when cow town creamery would be in Carmichael, Thanks to Grant he kept me up to date with information, location, menu and a picture of the truck to making locating easy. He told me Aliyah would be serving the awesome ice cream. We were a group of 10 and we didn't have one kids complaining as we placed the orders they came super fast. Thank god the cones came in a container or else I'm sure the kids cones would have ended up in the floor. We ordered wow cow, jersey girl, big kid custom cone of vanilla ice cream with Reese's. Ice cream was not over sweet loved the Carmel. The cones seems liked they were fresh made as they didn't taste stale. Kids were not a fan of the brownie or the fudge had a odd taste. I totally look forward scouting out cowtown creamery other truck as I've seen they serve hot donuts cookies and churros. If I have event in sacrament I will for sure add cowtown creamery to my event. Thanks aliyah and my British buddy for the great service sorry I didn't get your name but I enjoyed chatting with you always great to find a fellow British

I came across Cowtown at Gather at Quarry Park. They had a very big selection on the menu. Definitely something for everyone. Shakes, cones, sundaes, churro, lemonades, you name it!!! My daughter ordered a strawberry shake. It came in a plastic cup with a cute pink straw to match. She said it was one of the BEST shakes she's had. I ordered the Wow Cow. Its served in a plastic cup as well. Brownie, vanilla ice cream, Oreo crumbles, hot fudge and chocolate whipped cream. While I was eating it 3 people stopped me to ask what it was! It was amazing! My only complaint would be to layer it with ice cream, brownie and more ice cream so you can get more brownie with each bite!!! The spoon isn't quite long enough!

Pineapple frozen lemonade, recommended by Cowtown Creamery's employee/helper! Loved it! (and the packaging) :D

This food truck comes to my work every other Thursday (I think), and it's great! Now that the weather is warming up, I love buying anything available on their menu. Food: I have bought on different occasions the frozen lemonade, cinn-full puffs, and their strawberry milkshake. The lemonade and milkshake were not too sweet. The portions for the regular and large are great. I usually order a regular and am able to finish it without feeling like I drank sugar. I don't feel too stuffed after I buy one, and I really feel like I get my money's worth for the regular. The cinn-full puffs was huge! I shared it with 4 of my co-workers and we all felt content afterwards. The vanilla ice cream was light and creamy, I LOVED IT! Service: Insightful and kind! I ask them for their recommendations, and they have never failed to satisfy my sweet tooth. Location: No storefront yet! But I always catch this food truck in SacToMofo or my work. I love too that all of their packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable! Big ups to them for conservation and caring! :D

My new favorite! I had my eyes set on Hawaiian shaved ice today but home girl Sierra, had the most upbeat and cheerful attitude , I was like " the fact that you seem like such a happy person is making me happily wanting to give you buisness!" Lol She recommended the cone with smores in it and it didn't disappoint at all ! I was in all smiles after every bite of pure bliss !! I've been craving for something like this and I'm so happy my cravings been satisfied :) seriously, take advantage of this opportunity when you see this truck ! It's definitely not your average ice cream truck !

Yummy!! My daughter and I purchased some delicious treat from this truck while attending an event in Fairfield/Cordelia. She had the lemonade float and I had the mango lemonade. My lemonade hit the spot. I wished I would have gotten the float. It looked so good. Wasn't skimpy on the ice cream and lemonade portions either. I hope to run into this truck again. I will try the floats next time

I don't typically get around to trying many food trucks, so I was happy to see that Cowtown Creamery decided to stop by one of the housing subdivisions I was at on a hot, sunny Sunday afternoon and serve up a little ice cream. They have a TON of super tasty looking flavor combinations (I had a hard time deciding) but I finally settled on the Jersey Boy which was vanilla soft serve ice cream in a waffle cone with peanuts and a hard chocolate shell. Yum! The vanilla ice cream had good flavor and the super salty peanuts brought everything together. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the peanuts and chocolate sauce weren't just at the front of the cone, but at the bottom inside too. Yay! I especially liked how they serve the ice cream in a to go container with a spoon so you can take it with you if you are close to home and eat some now and some later. I LOVE sweets, but mine definitely lasted two servings or cone is enough for two people to share. The prices are reasonable and they get the ice cream out quickly. I would definitely stop by again if I saw the truck for another tasty treat!

Pumpkin Pie waffle cone with nilla wafers...only $6!
    Devo S.

I've lived in California for a while, and if it wasn't for having to work until I'm 55 to receive my pension, I would move. However, it does have its merits... One bright spot would be the Happy Cow Ice Cream food truck. I made the mistake of not visiting this place the first few times it showed up in the neighborhood at work. Once I did try this confection perfection, I was in love. In Sacramento terms, it was hotter than 10% off of yoga socks. As you walk up, the special concoctions are listed on the side of the truck by the order/pick up window. It was hard to narrow down my choice from all the wonderful options listed, but once I spotted it, I knew I had to have it: pumpkin pie sundae waffle cone! It was like an ice cream personification of me...sweet with some saltiness to it. (I said salty, not bitter). Ok, not salty at all, but definitely sweet and delicious! Soft serve vanilla ice cream filled the crispy waffle cone, and was topped with a delicious pumpkin sauce that I blended in with my vanilla ice cream to make, in essence, soft serve pumpkin ice cream...FANTASTIC! As if that wasn't enough, I got a heap of mini nilla wafers (they were out of the usual graham cracker accompaniment, but no complaints here) and a sea of whipped cream. Absolutely divine, I have to say. Conclusion: Happy Cow is the bomb! I cannot wait until the next time it comes by my work and I can try one of their other riveting concoctions. Made with quality you can taste and only $6 for one huge serving of yumminess, you can't go wrong. Take a gander at the current avatar pic for Happy Cow Food Truck...that's my Pumpkin Pie sundae waffle cone that you can drool over. Thanks to Happy Cow, I guess having to hang around for a few more years until I can retire won't be so bad after all ;)

The big kid ice cream cone.

So I have to say I am not a big fan of ice cream but my kids love it. Happy Cow was part of the Tuesday food trucks by Eagles Nest Park in Anatolia. Tons of different XL flavored cones, shakes, sundaes and other items to choose from. The staff is ridiculously friendly which makes the whole food truck experience even better. My girls shared the Big Kids XL cone which is an oversized waffle cone with ice cream, mini M&Ms and chocolate drizzle. There is no way one person can finish this on there own but I am sure it happens. Remembering my childhood I ordered a hot fudge sundae ate about half (it was really good) and gave the rest to the kids. I am sure we will come back to this food truck when it returns to the Anatolia area in the near future. If it is ever an option for you I strongly recommend it!!

I was right next to them sitting at a table with my brother so of course I heard, and I got up and I said what's up with this grandma stuff, and he said that he answered her question and told her that he thought I was her grandmother. Honestly, I felt completely insulted like you're not supposed to say things like that to your customers or even about your customers. I felt myself getting ready to go completely off on him, so I walked away and went to sit back down. He had the audacity to tell my niece some people can't handle the truth. It's so baffling to me that a manager would say something like that. I know employees sometimes say inappropriate things, but he should know better!! This was supposed to be a nice family outing and he ruined my night. Luckily I have confidence in myself and his comment didn't give me a complex or make me like I look old. It was also disappointing because I went in there specifically to get an eclair, which is normally a decent size. For some reason, it was the half of the size and the same price.

We arrived and were seated promptly which was nice. But then our server went on break, we got a new server, they took our order and about 30 minutes later, they brought out all of the food except for two entrees. A kids entree and an adult entree. They said they were going to make the food but we sat there while we watched dozens of people sit down and leave, staff rarely checked on us, and then an hour later, they finally bring out the food. It was an absolute disaster. The server apologized (the manager never came to acknowledge the issue even though they spoke to the server about the situation) and the server stated that there was some sort of miscommunication with the order. To be honest, I was more upset about the fact that by the time the two entrees came out, everyone was already done eating. So those two people just had to box their food and eat it later. After dinner, it was ice cream time. We order my son's ice cream (just a scoop of chocolate) first at least 15 minutes before they take anybody else's order at the table. I grew up loving apple fritters and since having to go GF, it is my most missed donut-adjacent treat. This one was smaller than a normal one, but that was fine because I could actually enjoy it without it being too big. Perfectly fluffy with apple pieces and spiced just right, it was delicious. The cruellers were nice and crispy on the outside and just sweet enough. Glazed with chocolate or regular icing, they are a perfect donut. I have recommended this spot to others that are GF, they need to experience the joy of a prefect GF donut!

Both tasted very good but slightly different without dairy. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the flavor and textures. My friend ended up with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie which was also great. I love a crunch or different texture mixed in. She did mention that the Rocky Road tasted a bit off because of the lack of dairy and the texture was a bit unusual. The staff were polite and patient and the place didn't seem that crowded for a Thursday around dinner time. I suppose with Ginger Elizabeth's and Rick's Dessert Diner all on the same strip, there is a lot of competition for dessert places here. We were happy to try something new. Everything was fairly clean and there was plenty of bar seating as well as a few tables. I believe there were also tables outside.

The mochi was incredibly soft and chewy, and each filling was perfectly proportioned, making every bite balanced, flavorful, and not overly sweet. My favorites were the Chunky Mochi (chunky peanut butter with mochi) and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mochi. The crunchy peanut pieces added a great textural contrast, making the Chunky Mochi even more satisfying. The combination of salty peanut butter and chocolate created a delicious sweet-and-savory flavor that I loved. We originally tried four different mochi and ended up going back for more. Definitely worth a visit if you're a mochi fan!

The cool little snow cone window had quite the crowd, but the wait was short. As someone who doesn't usually love cold desserts, I really enjoyed the Tiger's Blood flavor and the ice had a really nice texture. I appreciated this one and the serving size, especially because I recently learned it is indeed possible to mess up a snow cone, but I won't name names. There's also a little market inside. Sadly, no onigiri on Sundays, but I'll definitely be back to try some. My girlfriend got a mochi and loved it. Very charming spot!
