From there, things only got worse. She kept our furniture for nine months and in all that time only completed one of the three pieces. Even worse, she started that one piece with the wrong fabric, which meant there wasn't enough left for the other items. I called regularly--every few weeks--and was met with excuse after excuse. When we finally got the "finished" piece back, the quality was disappointing. The fabric pattern wasn't aligned, and it was not completed as we had discussed. Then, to top it all off, she tried to charge us even more than originally agreed, claiming it was "more work than expected." In the end, we had to take our furniture elsewhere: one piece to be fixed, and the other two to be done from scratch. It's incredibly disheartening to have such a poor experience, especially when trying to support a small business. I absolutely would not recommend.

From that point on, we called and stopped in every few days but were always given one excuse after another. We heard that it would be in on the next truck, had to be special ordered and would be in the next week, would "probably" be in by Friday, had to be special ordered by a different supplier and (my all-time favorite), at nearly 2 months out, it was on back order!! Glass finally arrived 8 weeks after order was placed. No apology, no discount, no offer of any kind, just here's your glass. Had planned to install during September or October weather but obviously, with the weather now, we get to go more months without a window. How is this place still in business? Utterly unprofessional in every way possible. If you choose to order here, be prepared for your project to remain unfinished for months.

Even my own regular cleaner in Carmel could only offer me a $35 charge and one to two weeks time frame before it was ready. :( Most of the dry cleaners I spoke to couldn't have cared less about my situation. I needed it "yesterday" for a video shoot we were going to do. I called Bolden's and told them the story of the wrinkly green screen and my urgent need for someone to press it. The lady who answered the phone at Bolden's was kind and genuinely seemed to care. She asked me how soon I could get it to them because they were shutting down the steamers at 2pm. I told her 10 minutes and took off from the practice to get there. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and a sincere welcome. I was asked for my name and phone number, and then asked if I could give them 15 minutes? Could I give them 15 minutes? What an AMAZING difference from every other cleaner I had spoken to over the last several days!! Yeah, I could give them 15 minutes. Fast forward fifteen minutes and the green screen was pressed and beautiful. My cost was $8!! Guess who just got a customer for life? Bolden's did! When I asked if I could leave a tip for the person who pressed the green screen, I got a smile and a kind laugh, and I was told the owners do all the pressing. I was told this was a family business, and they really did care about every single one of their customers. I cannot tell you how happy I am and how grateful I am for Bolden's. Thank you so, so much!

Back the next day doors locked again during opening hours. Sill not in a hurry. Came back day three was finally able to get my clothing. Next time to pick up clothing a few weeks later. Computer system was down and couldn't get clothing. Came back a second time. Gentleman working was in a surly mood, not at all friendly. They have signs up to be kind to their employees because of staffing and pandemic related issues. But the staff also needs to do the same. Picked up my clothing today. I was so happy to see the young lady of color. ( I really have no idea what is PC today ) She is always so friendly and funny and always makes me laugh even at something as mundane as a hypenated last name. I wanted fabric that would last a long time so she recommended this after I explained what style I was going for. Gregory gave me an estimate and the process began. When I went to pick up my chairs, Crystal had created two pillows for me! I am 6 months in with these chairs and the fabric has remained intact! I love my chairs so much! If an issue does creep up, they will take care of you. Their people will come out and pick up the piece and make it right. I had an issue with one recliner I had re-upholstered. They came out, picked it up, and redid the seat for me. No charge, as their apology on that, and their service made it good as new again. We had seat work done by them and the seat frame broke when I first sat in it. I saw the issue, called them, and Frost said they'd take care of it ASAP. They gave me a new hardwood frame and a new seat. As good as it gets, really. I'd use them and I'd recommend them to my friends. In fact, I have. If you have a good piece of furniture, that just needs new upholstery...get it re-upholstered by Frost. It may cost nearly the same as some new furniture...but these days, you get a lot more for your money by using good "bones" to begin with. Not the new junk that usually has plywood framers and Chinese made mechanisms.

He was responsive, quick, easy to work with and his work lived up to the name. Beautiful job. After he was done, I could not tell where the repair had been made. Dave filled in a corner that had been nicked pretty bad by using a lacquer stick. He recreated the corner, matched the color perfectfully and drew in the grain lines, then sprayed lacquer over it all. He also did two more smaller touch ups and did not charge more than what he had quoted.
