We had a…read morereservation for a midweek dinner but it wasn't absolutely packed so may have been able to just walk in. They have a gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating area. Service was a 5/5 - always attentive, from water refills, ordering, etc. Drinks - we got the Italian Gin and tonic and a dirty martini. Both were made perfectly - the gin and tonic in particular was so fun and got spicier as the drink went on. Food- We tried the Insalatina di Cavoletti di Bruxelles and the arancini to start. The brussel salad had such wonderful light yet unique flavors, I feel like it was one of the best salads I've tried in a long time. The arancini were so so - not bad but maybe just not my thing. For our main we split the carbonara - we were told it would be quite al dente and rich. I will 100% agree with those comments - to me it was almost like completely al dente, giving you a gum chewing texture. The flavors were rich and complex but I think eating this myself would have made me way too full. They ended the meal with a light little birthday dessert of cookies which was great. While the food was tasty, it was not life changing and portions are small for the pricing. No free bread either :(

The raviolo was my favorite, but definitely very heavy. On the other hand, the arancini, steak, and cacio e pepe all needed a touch of salt. After adding some, they were just right; besides the arancini, to which I'd skip next time. The wagyu steak was also cooked really well. I think if you're going to share everything, try not to order 2 cream-based pasta dishes otherwise it may be too rich. Service was fantastic. We asked if we could be moved to a more intimate two-seater and had no issue with that. They also gave us a free mini birthday dessert, which is always a really nice touch to the meal. Overall, it wasn't the best/one of the best Italian food I've ever had, but I'd come back and would be interested in trying some different dishes.

As we're members, this is also a sister winery which allows us to enjoy tasting. The property itself was beautiful. Right when you drive in, you're greeted with both sides of rows and rows of grapes vines. The the tasting room itself isn't that big. Decent size inside as well as outside. They do have a nice private room as well as the bar counter if you like that. But everyone was on the patio as it was a nice day. I think the group across from us must be members as well as I did noticed them earlier in the day at a different sister winery. Will was the man on deck taking care of us as well as everyone else. Funny how someone you just meet had so much in common with you. The sweetest and most kindest. And he knows his craft. Even though he was the only one there when we arrived, he made sure that we were all well taken care of. Of course the wines, everything that was poured was great. The nice chilled crisp of the whites to the rich bold of the reds. Everything was excellent. We did spend a nice amount of time here just enjoying the outside on the patio. The shaded seats under the trees with the vineyards around you. Also the nice trickle of the water feature right in front. The property is beautiful. Even though it was nice to just enjoy the place, we did have to cut it short as we had a tasting somewhere else. Overall, the place is beautiful. Service was great and of course the wine was great. Will was the best. Made sure that everyone out on the patio was taken cared of.

Wow. What an unforgettable experience at PEJU, especially with the VIP treatment my friends and I…read morereceived from Todd Elliott, AKA to me as wine educator and sommelier extraordinaire! I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!

Such a fun and relaxed experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and hopefully with a little more room in the wine fridge!

Right up front he asked what kind of information we would like to discuss with each wine, giving us the opportunity to prioritize our interests. And the wine! The WINE! It was hard to believe that the reds poured for us would still require aging as the vintages (2020 & 2021) felt so perfect as is. All they lacked was a plate of ribeye and buttered greens, perhaps a beouf bourguignon. I went home with three bottles, '24 estate Chardonnay (crisp, neutral oak, had to have a glass after tasting), '21 Oakville cab, and the '21 reserve cab (absolutely outstanding, I nursed this pour for a while) Highly recommend! Then treat yourself to lunch at the oakville general store. A heavenly way to start the day and end our trip in the area. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

We were there on a recent Sunday for a 2:25 tasting and were seated in a table in the ornate tasting room. There was a carafe of water and bread sticks on the table. There were three tables and a large table of eight in the middle of the room. The room opens up to a beautiful garden. We were here for A Taste of Groth experience and were greeted by Curt who was our host for the tasting. Curt was personable and gave us a history of the Groth, which was founded by the former CFO of Atari, the video game company. For the tasting we were served a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Proprietary Red and a bonus pour of the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. All the wines were delicious with my favorites being the Reserve Cabernet for the red and Sauvignon Blace for the white. Curt was informative and explained the background of each wine that was poured. We were invited to take our last pour and enjoy in the garden and winery grounds. We had a great tasting experience in our tasting of the delicious Groth wines. It was enjoyable two hour visit. We now know what is Groth and its history from our great pourer, Curt.
